La marca estadounidense de skateboarding, Fucking Awesome, decidió fusionarse con Converse para crear una silueta del patinador Louie Lopez. El chico que vive en California, pero que tiene ascendencia de mexicana y guatemalteca, es uno de los patinadores más influyentes del momento.

La zapatilla se levanta en tonos claros y con un estilo minimalista. Según ambas marcas, esto se debe al estilo pop y contundente que tiene López al patinar. El Fucking Awesome x Converse Louie Lopez Pro Mid también presenta un diseño clásico de media bota con la parte superior en terciopelo "Cyan Tint", acentuado por una estrella metálica y una marca de cheurón, junto con logotipos FA en relieve a juego en la lengüeta.

La pieza tiene detalles adicionales en forma de plantillas de espuma CX impresas y suelas de caucho negro con tracción adherente para una sensación óptima de la tabla. El precio de salida de este modelo es de 80 dólares y ya se puede adquirir en distintas partes del mundo, incluido México.

A két úriember neve igen jól cseng a szakmában. Herrera még a tavasz eleje Lopez már a nyár vége. A sok együtt deszkázás és a cipőszponzor kapcsaiból egy hangulatos és kedvet fakasztó filmet gyúrt Ryan Lee. Ez pedig nem más, mint a Converse CONS As You Wish.

Nagyon jó stílusú deszkás mindkettő. Azért írtam, hogy Erik Herrera még a tavasz eleje, mert ő még nagyon friss pro a Chocolate-nál, de más most látszik, hogy a maga szerénységével még nagyon sok jó dolgot látunk majd tőle. Louie Lopez pedig már jó ideje a porondon van, az egyik leglazább és leg letisztultabb deszkázású pro, akinek a lábaiból minden egyes trükk úgy néz ki, mint ha az a világ legegyszerűbb dolga lenne.

Még azon nyomban összedobtak egy hogyan készült videót is, nem várt itt senki arra, hogy jövőre legyen.

“Los Lobos Native Sons” to be Released in 2025

- Trailer spotlights 50 years of “truly one of the best musical groups ever formed”

Edward James Olmos spares no superlative in praising Los Lobos.

“Truly one of the best musical groups ever formed,” he says. “You could put the Stones. You could put the Beatles. They’re right there - right in the same vein.”

Olmos is speaking in the trailer for “Los Lobos Native Sons,” a feature-length documentary coming in 2025 and documenting 50 years since the band’s 1973 founding.

“Our goal is to expose music as far as we possibly can to take it,” a young Louie Pérez says in one of the clip’s many archival sequences, “to different parts of the United States, Mexico, the world if possible.”

Soundtracked with “Will the Wolf Survive?,” “La Bamba” and “Native Son,” the trailer shows Pérez, David Hidalgo, Cesar Rosas, Conrad Lozano and Steve Berlin doing just that as they transform from young upstarts to grey veterans. George Lopez, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Cheech Marin and others appear in the film.

“David, Ceaser, Conrad, Louie and Steve, it’s amazing what they are able to create together,” Tom Waits says.
