🌟✨ Prioritize Your Well-being: Your Self-Care Matters! 🌿🌸
In the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to get caught up in the demands and expectations placed upon us. However, it's crucial to remember that your well-being should always be a top priority. Here are some reasons why prioritizing your well-being is essential:
1️⃣ Self-Care is Essential: Taking care of yourself is not selfish; it's necessary. Prioritizing your well-being means carving out time for self-care activities that recharge and rejuvenate you. It could be as simple as practicing mindfulness, indulging in a hobby, or engaging in physical activity. When you prioritize self-care, you give yourself the care and attention you deserve.
2️⃣ Mental and Emotional Health: Prioritizing your well-being includes nurturing your mental and emotional health. It means recognizing your emotions, processing them, and seeking support when needed. Taking time for self-reflection, practicing gratitude, and engaging in activities that bring you joy contribute to your overall well-being.
3️⃣ Physical Health and Vitality: Your physical health plays a significant role in your well-being. Prioritizing your well-being means making conscious choices to nourish your body with nutritious food, engage in regular exercise, and get enough restful sleep. Taking care of your physical health helps you feel energized, vibrant, and ready to tackle life's challenges.
4️⃣ Boundaries and Saying No: Prioritizing your well-being means setting healthy boundaries and learning to say no when necessary. It's about recognizing your limits and not overextending yourself to please others. By setting boundaries, you create space for self-care, personal growth, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
5️⃣ Overall Happiness and Fulfillment: When you prioritize your well-being, you cultivate a sense of happiness and fulfillment in your life. By taking care of yourself, you become better equipped to handle stress, overcome obstacles, and pursue your dreams. Your well-being forms the foundation for a fulfilling and purposeful life.
Remember, prioritizing your well-being is not a luxury; it's a necessity. It's about making intentional choices that promote your physical, mental, and emotional health. By prioritizing self-care and making your well-being a priority, you set the stage for a more joyful, balanced, and fulfilling life. 🌿🌸🌟✨

Giving us a voice
As I continue to write about Covid-19 on my blog, I am giving us a voice, not to forget, but to be aware there are still people in the pandemic who need protecting.
The virus isn’t gone, but I appreciate and respect there are people in our communities who are still high risk and vulnerable to Covid-19. I have no choice in what has happened, and I am unable to move forward myself, but as I continue to write, I am reminded that we should be careful and not to forget about others.
I appreciate that 2 years in and people are wanting to get back into their lives. They’re done with wanting to hear, or to have to think about the pandemic. I would love not to have to think about the pandemic also, but I am aware that I still need protecting, for us to wear masks, also appreciating and respecting other people’s opinions.
But where others have a voice because they’re out there again, I have lost mine. Like everyone, I have no choice in what has happened, but I am wary that I am once again impacted. I am struggling at the ignorance of how I lost my voice, until my situation changes. Lifting restrictions, has made me more restricted.
Why and how it was allowed to happen in the way it has, isn’t right. We are all good people. But right now, I am trying to come to terms with being four-walled. I am not lying down, but accepting it is what I have to deal with for now.
If you’re interested, I would be grateful for the support. If you fancy grabbing your copy so charities may benefit, please go to the following link https://linktr.ee/Ilana_Estelle

Nothing will change, unless...
“We write our own destiny, we become what we do.” – Madame Chiang Kai-Shek, 1898-2003. Madame Chiang Kai-Shek was right and very insightful… the world is fatally writing its own destiny; the fundamental problems are the ego and culture. This refers to beliefs and patterns, attitudes, feelings, and habitats.
Through ego and culture, as we go about our daily lives, we think about ourselves and don’t stop to think about and put others first. We know what we know, we want what we want and ignore the bigger picture of how our lives impact others.
Comprehension and perceptions are key. We can see the good or we can see the bad. Habits are acquired thoughtlessly, some deadly in the longer run. Yet we are in control. But tapping into our unconscious thoughts, and dealing with those, means some of our conscious bad habits can be transformed.
But unless we want to change, nothing will change. Nothing can change unless we want change, unless we want to live better lives free of mental and emotional strife. Instead, we may continue to live our lives and change nothing.
Habituation as it is called, is a feature of nature and yet it is a two-edged sword. All it would take is an awareness, us wanting to change, civil discourse to enhance understanding and a little work thrown in for good measure. The point is we all matter, our very survival is depending upon it.
We need to work on self-restraint, we need to start to be pro-active, and change the way we think and change how we are with each other. Without the discipline and us wanting to see positive change in the world, we can fail and failing can be fatal.
For anyone who wants to follow their own path and do things better, my book ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ can help.
