Serbian Orthodox Patriarch banned from entering Kosovo
The Kosovo authorities decided to reject the request of the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Porfirije to visit the country.
Serbia continues to violate the Brussels Agreement, does not allow our state officials to visit Serbia, does not end its campaigns against the Republic of Kosovo in the international arena during the integration and recognition processes.
The Kosovo Foreign Ministry stated that Serbia continued “to use hate speech and threats against the Republic of Kosovo and its representatives.”
The authorities added that they would prohibit such visits as long as Serbia continued to obstruct Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe. Patriarch Porfirije reportedly wanted to visit Peć Patriarchate in the west of the country, according to the Orthodox Times.
The head of the Serbian Government’s Kosovo Office, Petar Petković, reported on calls for his country to act on the principle of reciprocity with regard to mutual visits.
The Serbian Patriarch, Mr. Porfirije, has always, on every occasion and in every place, with his messages, gentle words, and actions called for peace and the coexistence of Serbs and Albanians in the area of Kosovo and Metohija.
Meanwhile, the Serbian Orthodox Church condemned the prohibition of Porfirije from entering Kosovo. The statement also called on all those with influence over the Kosovo issue to “take action to stop the violation of the freedom of movement of the Serbian Patriarch, bishops and clergy and the human rights of the Serbian people in the country.”

Spring in Belgrade Serbia 2024
There were some maladies involved in getting from Datça to Belgrade. Thankfully, at this point in my travels I’m somewhat “inoculated” from freaking out – it really doesn’t change anything. In short, the trip was a messy experience that I’m planning to forget ASAP. :o) Writing about it is a catharsis of sorts. Street Art Mediterranean Storm After weeks of clear, picture-perfect weather, the night…

These conversations we're bombarded with about current chaos in the middle east, only make me think about kosovo&metohija even more.
I must be experiencing some unusually strong pms or something. It's so sad to be banished from your land while all the world is just watching and letting them proclaim independence, on your land! And then they try to frame you as the bad gye. It's so vile. Ugh.

EUSR: Little progress achieved in normalising Serbia-Kosovo relations
EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues, Miroslav Lajčák, stated on Tuesday that little progress had been achieved in the normalisation of relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
“Thanks to the dialogue, we delivered important results before the end of last year – the agreement on energy, the recognition of RKS [Republic of Kosovo license] plates, the end of the sticker regime [for license plates]. This is concrete and visible proof. But there has been little progress in the big picture on the normalisation of relations.”
Lajčák announced the normalisation after meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in the capital Pristina. The Special Representative held a separate meeting with Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani.

Promocija knjige Snežane Teodoropulos “Oslušni vetar”
U Press centru Udruženja novinara Srbije održana je promocija treće knjige Snežane Teodoropulos “Oslušni vetar”. Bilo je to izuzetno lepo osmišljeno književno veče uz puno poezije, muzike, grčkog i našeg zvuka, obraćanja izdavača, recenzenta i same autorke.
