We were robbed of a Hueso Jr. episode because good god I need he and Leo to interact.

I can just imagine an episode where a very busy Hueso has no choice but to ask Leo to babysit, and Leo’s like heck yeah I’d rock at that.

And of course Hueso is constantly like oh god what if something goes wrong that’s PEPINO he left with his CHILD.

So continuously throughout the episode he imagines the worst case scenarios for what could possibly be happening.

Every time Hueso imagines another catastrophic scenario the scene cuts back to Leo and Hueso Jr just calmly watching a movie or playing a game or something else equally as innocuous.

Eventually the worry gets to Hueso so much that he cuts his business short and races back home to see -

A peacefully sleeping Hueso Jr smiling as he lays snuggled up next to a shockingly quiet Leonardo.

He’s pleasantly surprised, and agrees to ask for Leo again next time he needs a babysitter.

Or, as it seems he may need to, when Hueso Jr. wants Leo to visit.

thinking further on my response and i do think CDDs can be a spectrum more than clear cut diagnostic criteria. like just in general. like just from what ive observed & what im reading (currently working on the haunted self!) i think theres a lot of overlap in symptoms between DID, OSDD, and even C-PTSD & BPD, which makes it harder to draw a line on whether certain presentations count as one disorder or another

it's an added layer of difficulty that theres so many different ways CDDs can present. i feel like every system i meet and every system i read about has its own unique ways of presenting, which im assuming is because it's a complex series of adaptations to very specific stimuli & circumstances. but like the variance in peoples' lived experiences makes it hard to make blanket statements about systems (or even like, alter archetypes, for example)

like theres just so many ways a system can look. some people know about their alters as early they can remember & experienced them as imaginary friends or voices. some people go 20, 30+ years without realizing theyre a system at all. theres polyfrag systems with layers upon layers of subsystems and complicated inner workings. theres people whose alters have only a passing awareness of each other. and so on. Individuals might share a diagnostic label, but there might be little overlap in how they experience being a system

anyways This is a lot of rambling that's straying into different territories.. sorry my mind may not be all here LOL

at it's core we are all experiencing various levels of structural dissociation ... unity 🤝

#borderline #i think changing diagnoses and/or comorbidity is common for us. So im not terribly concerned on whos using the 'right label' #When really diagnostic criteria arent set in stone. my perspective on this is probably at least partially informed by my experiences #being in the mental health system for a very long time & going through Most of the DSM-V LOL.. #in i hate you dont leave me. my copy is at my parents' house so i cant double check #But towards the beginning there's a list of how BPD has a lot of overlap with like. Most other disorders #i remember the phrase that BPD seems like it's on the of everything else #& i would not be surprised if other disorders related to complex trauma were similar as well - in that they can easily mask as other #disorders. & theres naturally going to be a lot of overlap with many other disorders #This went off topic but ^_^ if anyone has anything to say on the matter feel free to add on. not sure what the point of all this is LOL

We know that as a child a CHILD his sister went missing #And they don’t even give us all the information about that! That makes me so mad #And Scott #We’ve been fed hints that Scott feels like a failure for three episodes now #And the kind of vision he get is SO INTERESTING. This vision hasn’t happened yet and while it is something we know he worries about #It’s such a specific situation. Why not Matt? Or Gerard? Why Duecalion? The first two have actually threatened Melissa’s life before #The goal was totally for him to want to kill Deucalion #And there were only 3 more deaths predicted not 4 #How much of that was Scott and much of it was the Darach? #And then they put that thought in my head and have Scott consistently throw himself at dangerous situations without further addressing this #Ever again #And Issac #Every other time we see him a panic response #it’s like fight or flight (I can’t remember if those are real or not but for the purpose of language and I’m high I’m using them?) #But this time he freezes #Why #and like the whole thing with Ethan too #Like that just makes really neat implications about whatever the fuck the twin wolf mega wolf thing means #Like who has control? I wish I could take my time with it though #the error reporting is. well it's easy to generate (it's actually running now) and it's tedious but uncomplicated to send out #but then I'm going to spend the rest of the day getting passive-aggressive responses from everybody #in a just world my coworkers would respond to careful itemized lists of all their fuckups with 'thank you Alexis you're so helpful #we really appreciate you flagging our mistakes two weeks before the system final-saves them forever into stone. have a cookie!' #but alas #if I'd been any less stressed and frantic when I first established the error reporting I'd have set up a separate address to send them from #write up some template emails and let the reporting all come out of the mythical 'automatic system thing' #--every 'automatic system thing' in our college is me or IT on my behalf. even the people who hired me for this don't seem to realize #if only I'd known from the beginning that nobody would ever connect me and my systems! Every time I have to settle for Wendy's over the restaurant I was planning to go to, I'm shunted into a fucking circus and my chances of escaping with a semblance of edible food is a toss up.

the one problem with someone writing THE perfect fic for a certain pairing (Especially rarepairs) is that then youre forever left chasing more like that one perfect fic :(

obviously theres LOTS of good fics out there and i also have a lot of faves that are more ooc (as a completely neutral descriptor!) and very fun. but theres always those one or two fics for a pairing that drive me fucking insane and i have to space out my rereads.

#this is because i reread the stone butch geralt fic again. which lives at all times in my head rent free #and is why i started my most recent wild hunt playthru. #one line especially i truly think about on a WEEKLY basis. #this is also though about that ofos butch/femme moicy fic. #and the shaw/root/the machine series. #and. the one active kigo fic im subscribed to. which im rereading from the beginning rn bc it just updated. #and bc something about kigo makes me insane like no other ship ever has since. #OH AND OF COURSE. I feel that it would be unfair on the team and other artists applying if I were to join, when I know with my current workload and personal life shenanigans I simply cannot take on that kind of responsibility. Saying yes to something then failing to turn up and do my part is far worse than being honest and declining an opportunity I would really like to take on... so that's the low down.

Making the right and mature decision doesn't make me feel any less sad about it though TwT *cries for 500 years*
