16) how long have you been into naruto
screaming sobbing throwing up ive been into this stupid show since MIDDLE SCHOOL. My tastes have changed tho, Sakura was my fave when I started the show, and then I rewatched the show in high school and fell head over heels for Tenten.

no but I want that one Tenten figurine SO bad, and I'll prolly get a rock lee or neji figurine at some point.
28) favorite filler episode
it's a hard choice between shippuden 184 and shippuden 237. Both are Tenten-centric episodes (ofc), and they both focus in heavily on her insecurities/struggles and how she deals with them.
29) favorite arc
I really liked the Curry of Life arc from the original series fillers, those episodes gave Tenten a lot of screentime and fights, and were also a fascinating look at her personality. They give her really nice moments with Ranmaru which show her morals and her thought processes, and it's cool to see.

Neji: Are you ready to meet our wedding guests?
Tenten: Oh. Yes! I am excited to celebrate our marriage with them.
And they get ready to walk down the reception area. 😂😂😂
Well, well, just my NejiTen imagination. Now, on a serious note, Neji and Tenten were always together in most of the episodes in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden (even though mostly are fillers). For me, of all the Naruto couples, they are the most wholesome and this ship has the greatest potential to sail back then (of course before Kishi decided to make Neji use his body shield no jutsu).
Some say that this fandom is already dying, some even saying that this ship should have never been sailed because Neji or Tenten didn’t even like each other (probably because they did not explicitly said it in the series). But hey, don’t their actions show otherwise? Some even said that theirs was just friendship and there were no hints that they are a couple. My point is that, if that is the case, then, doesn’t being close friends one of the ways to a romantic relationship?
Try to compare them to other canon Naruto couples. I mean I am not trying to hate or bash (but for example purposes and point of comparison). Let’s take Choji and Karui, Ino and Sai. Don’t hate me, I actually find the family dynamics of said couples adorable.
Now tell me that Neji and Tenten should not have been shipped! Or maybe others are just hating on this ship because they think that Neji is too good for Tenten, and she is seen as weak. Well, we can rant on that on Kishi for making other characters lack some backstory or development.
Or perhaps, Kishi thought that Neji and Tenten’s kids (say a byakugan and gentle fist user adept with Ninja tools) would be awesome and that might be a problem for the main characters in Boruto (just kidding) 😂. Or they could be that childless couple content on looking after Himawari and Boruto.
But then, it’s not gonna happen, and although I love Neji and NejiTen very much, I think it would be impossible for the creators to raise him from the dead and make babies with our lovely Tenten. 😂
All I am hoping for though is a filler or perhaps a backstory to these two teammates (if not couple). I’m likeeee if he is not meant for her, then why is Tenten single? And for the haters, don’t get me started with “she is the mother of Metal Lee”. C’mon guys, I’ve never even seen her or Lee with Metal together (but I stopped watching Boruto after the Time travel arc in which I think the last time Neji appeared aside from his picture held by Hinata on Memorial day). If you have proof that Tenten married Lee, then feel free to say so here. 😀
But again, as long as my eyes are black, I will not fail to ship these two (I hope you see the Neji reference here 😂).

Many of you are waiting for the next parts 😮 Thanks to all of you for reading me ! Honestly I didn't think it would be readable...
4. Always together since their first appearance
They always share the same frame
(the same frame ↓)
Always together. Training alone together !
They spend so much time together. Do you realize what this suggests ?
↓↓ Firstly, in this part of the show, they trained together during the whole period of the chuunin exams..
This clearly shows that Neji has confidence in Tenten and her abilities. He never devalued her, on the contrary ! He is the only one who sees her potential, even when she no longer believes in herself.
Plus, the times they find themselves alone to train together, they certainly share deep moments and conversations. This point makes me think that Tenten knew about Neji's past before anyone else. So, can you understand the depth of the connection between them ?
(I can easily imagine they eat together after a mission, training or days off. Then, Neji accompanies Tenten to her house. 😅)
Secondly, I could say Team Gai works as a duo unlike other teams, for example: Team Asuma, we have a real trio (Ino-Shika-Cho).
(/!\ I love team Gai and Lee 💚 . What I say below is only what I noticed)
But, in Team Gai, Neji and Tenten are always together and Lee is always with Gai. Sorry to say that, but it's like Lee is intentionally left out of the NejiTen duo. Since his first appearance he has fallen in love with Sakura, and he's almost always with Gai sensei.
That's not all, Lee is rarely shown with Neji and Tenten at the same time : he is often left out of missions Neji and Tenten do together. And, the same goes for Neji and Tenten, they are often left out of Lee and Gai moments.

Part 1
Chuunin Exams Arc : Lee goes to save Sakura and leaves Neji and Tenten alone
Cursed Warrior (episode 162-167) : Naruto, Neji and Tenten
Third Great Beast Arc (episode 195 - 196) : Naruto, Neji, Tenten and Lee. But, not really a Team Gai moment: Naruto spends his time with Neji and Tenten (hospital, Ichiraku, mission) and then Lee arrives to save Gai-sensei.
Gantetsu Escort Mission (Episode 209 - 212) : Naruto, Lee and Sakura.
Menma Memory Search mission (Episode 213- 215) : Naruto, Neji and Tenten
Part 2 (I don't really remember all the episodes of Shippuden, maybe because Team Gai is not very present)
Kazekage Rescue Mission (Episode 14) : Neji saves Tenten. Great romantic moment ! haha
Episode 184 : (Tenten, Neji) : They are alone on a mission.
Episode 192 : (Neji, Tenten, Kiba) : Neji chronicle, he tells what happened to them in the Konoha Crush Arc.
Episode 311 : Tenten wants to go to the public bath, Neji agrees to go with her, and proposes to Lee who refuses.
Episode 412 : Neji decides to divide the team into 2. So, Lee is with another sub team...

5. NejiTen outfits
Tenten and Neji's outfits match perfectly.
I think this is another important point. The author didn’t choose their clothing at random, considering the time they spend together, this detail suggests that they went shopping together and bought these matching couple outfits. This, shows another side of their relationship.
Their outfits also matched in the first part of Naruto (the colors and the three stripes).
I also noticed something funny with Neji's bag. His bag is shaped like the Chinese dumpling that Tenten loves .....................
(In the databook it is written that Tenten loves Chinese food)

6. Neji always wants to team up with Tenten
This is another point that I noticed
Cursed Warrior :
In this part, Neji divided the team into two: Naruto alone and him with Tenten.
Menma Memory Search mission :
In this part, Neji leaves Naruto and Menma alone, and he leaves on his side with Tenten
This scene where they are on a tree is repeated several times in the first part of Naruto. They look like two birds on a tree branch...
Episode 412 (12:30) : Neji decides to divide the team into 2 (there are 6 people in total). This is how he makes up the teams:
- First team → Lee, Matsuri and the two from the Hidden Waterfall
- Second team → Tenten and Neji !
And Matsuri insists on being part of the second team, but Neji refuses. I will quote Neji’s sentence :
“No, I need Tenten for the rescue. The two of us will go”
No no no no, this is not a coincidence ! 😂 Coincidence doesn’t exist ! All I see is the author is looking for a way to isolate Neji and Tenten together.

Ooh sure! Here are my favourites (I think I got the episode numbers and what is and isn’t filler right):
From part 1: 152-157, 175-176 (this may be trash actually but I was invested in it so), 197-201
From Shippuden: 223-224 (episodic, so you can skip the ones you don’t like, but I had fun with a lot of these episodes), 349-361, 394-413
As for singular episodes, I like 101 and 184 from part 1, and 189 (please watch this one, it’s about infiltrating a secret society of cats), 194 (for your sasunaru needs), 195, 279 from Shippuden
Oh and if you consider the movies filler, toss in shippuden 2 and 5, they’re both well worth your time
Personally I enjoyed most of the filler episodes (except for the one about the magic lake, that one sucked) just because it’s soothing to spend time watching low stakes adventures with characters I like, but I get that there’s a lot of filler and you may not want to spend that amount of time on it. Still I hope that my (very qualified and unbiased) opinions help you to find something you like, it was very sweet of you to ask me 🥰

I can definitely see why Neji was the one out of Naruto’s many Top boyfriends who died. I still wish he hadn’t, though. But, I can now see why.
Okay, so I’m rewatching Naruto Shippuden and I’m currently on Episode 184. Neji is the one Naruto boyfriend who is always the first one to jump in and shield Naruto. He’s stepped in and saved Naruto for like thrice or more in just this one episode.
He’s always rushing in and protecting Naruto from any danger. I don’t think he even realizes what he’s doing and just does it unconsciously. Like, his body just moves on its own.
Aww, Neji cared so much for his light.
