The Young Afghan Women Movement offers support and solidarity for these women. Hameeda is part of this movement. In this podcast she explains what motivates her and how she deals with the big questions that come with dealing with political conflict.

i generally listen to a lot of banks, son lux and indie types like tender and slenderbodies but hmm re: top 5 i actually listen to, i’d say: the entirety of III, just kidding but currently i’ve been listening to look what you’re doing to me from the album. i listen to the killing kind for absolutely no reason and its so loud that i know its going to render me deaf someday, however that is a price i’m willing to pay for such excellence. son lux is an all time favourite that i cannot pick one particular song i like so i’ll go by the one i’ve been fixated on recently aka remedy, surging sea. its soooo good. 100% recommend. zindaano by parvaaz from their banger album kun, once again the pinnacle of perfection. had to check my on repeat for this since the songs i listen to are so random and depend on moods rather than say, taste, etc but RIBS by lorde ❤️ okay yes
