In case anyone was wondering, why my nickname is Fareeha AND some Spaniards, answer is right under the cut! (Since Tumblr is basically a diary, and I REALLY want to describe, tell, write down, draw and even put it in my blog) Long post ahead! Many screenshots, personal stuff, memes etc.

So you decided to read... Good :'D

It started with Dark Souls 3. The first game experience was very exciting. I spent for about 3 hours creating a character, dealing with a disgustingly made character editor, and they came out.... Simply terrible. Some chubby-cheeked femboy (I have nothing against it, even like it sometimes, but he looked really terrible) with a face like he wants to betray you right now, taking away your family castle and all your feudal possessions. What a waste of time… Also it was sad that I spent 3 hours in the game without starting it. Therefore, I deleted this character and hastily, literally in 5 minutes, created new one - I barely changed one of the in-game templates - slightly lengthened the nose (because big noses are an art); decided to take a hairstyle that would be a little feminine, but at the same time more or less practical - a bun :’D ; made a slightly more stern appearance and it turned out that he was very attractive! There was a problem with the name, but then I also took the first one that came to mind - Esteban. I took the Deprived class because I couldn’t decide who I want him to be and I also wanted to try the so-called “most difficult class,” which turned out to be the most comfortable.

During the game I fell in love with him so much exactly the way he was - and he turned out to be a little frivolous, jester, Casanova, just a handsome guy in my favorite armor of the Black Knights (those devils look INCREDIBLE and make me squeal) and funny older brother of my husband's character.

Tbh now I see that I am making a kind of a doll game out of Fromsoftware games, as it was in childhood - all my characters have their own story, relationships, preferences and strong family bonds lmaooo Why not (I won’t stop)

Esteban was the first "Spaniard". Playing with him as my avatar was incredibly fun - numerous deaths were not perceived so hard, there were LOTS of funny moments, I was scolding Esteban, amusing my husband… In general - we became close, and for a long time finishing the game I could not calm down and was talking about him too much (I genuinely don’t know how my hubbo puts up with me). I was drawing, even wrote a fanfic. And since I LITERALLY CAN’T live without a romantic story, Esteban was the first simp of Prince Lothric and a little bit of Orbeck and Fire Keeper xdd

After DS3, we started Elden Ring. There I created Miguel - also a spaniard, Wretch, cheerful, but more mischievous and feminine than Esteban. I couldn't stop changing his appearance for a very long time until I found something that suits Miguel and fully reflects his character. I really liked Gideon Ofnir, well, really, really liked, but Miguel didn’t share my interest, and I couldn’t really ship them (except for a few explicit drawings :’D). Miguel stayed with Ranni, whom I love dearly, and I started the game again, with a new character. I created a girl. She turned out to be french and received the name Fiquet, and she not only gave me inspiration to finally write a fanfic about her and Gideon, but also brought me mental satisfaction because I finally took the Sorcerer class and spent the entire game killing enemies so easily (except for Mogh and Malenia) with a few hits, without tactics, thinking or other crap. Fiquet, my girl Q_Q

After Elden Ring we started DS1, where Ramon was created in the same way, and also Jose in DS2 (I didn’t go further than Majula, I can’t help it - I don’t like this game. The desire to continue appears only because of Jose, who is my funniest character I think)

Ramon as his is. No screenshots of Jose, he jumped of a cliff and now looks kinda bad lol...

So it became a tradition to start the game with pathetic (I mean his class xd) spaniard and continue with girl (although I have only Fiquet for now. Others are not much remarkable). That’s how Guillermo was created for playing Bloodborne! I already did absolutely everything I could in BB (I even created a female character to come to Edgar so choir boy won’t be so sad :'D), but Guillermo remains with me - kind, sweet, a little nervous, like an angel from vintage postcards (I see him that way xD), caring, kind of mother figure, confident in his rightness, responsive and sensitive, but at the same time with an impenetrable moral shield (I mean, it’s impossible in any way hurt his feelings). I brought him together with Micolash (not surprising, I guess), came up with a tragic and romantic story for them and an AU with a continuation of the plot after the squid hunter ending for a happy end, endowed him with the blessing of Kos and gave him a backstory. There is something attractive about it when a man receives the blessing of a female deity who protects women - it says a lot about him as a more feminine person on the inside than he appears on the outside.

With all this I want to say that my spaniards and Fiquet have probably become like children to me... I love them, I continue to write about them, they are an integral part of my perception of games, and yes, this is probably really a peculiar need to play with dolls at my age xd Maybe that's why Guillermo wears Doll's gloves, Esteban enjoyed wearing Zullie the Witch's dress and gloves (with ADORABLE manicure yknow!!!) and etc lol...

ah hello, I'm late to the party again. I had to finish uni stuff and volunteered to circumcise like a hundred kids the other day I'm so tired.

But here I am to tell you how you write so well. The heir was beaut, can they make more babies pls maybe like one or two more and then the king can just go die. sub!bbh is so precious, I kinda feel bad that he just sees his lowly self but that's sub bbh for you. I just want to appreciate him 🥺.

Shayne is my main comfort character, and I associate a lot of songs with him, but here's a list of some that are specifically on my Swallow the World playlist because they specifically make me think of him:

Right now, Nancy is the only one from Swallow the World who has a pet. He’s a chameleon and his name is Turquoise (mushroom anon yelled at me about this before so now I’m scared lmao)

There may or may not be another pet who’ll be introduced... eventually. I’m way too excited about it not to give you guys something, though, so let’s just say that her name is going to be Three.

In Lucyverse, Donnacha has a dog back home! She’s a golden lab/mongrel named Millie and she’s a big, goofy sweetheart. 

25. Are there any two characters that are like a dynamic duo/group?

Shayne / Charlie - I mean, come on. 

Elliott / Felix - always a crowd pleaser. 

Shayne / Felix - Shayne gets so freaked out by how intense Felix can get, it’s adorable.

Shayne / Elliott - these two idiots can barely function as individuals, let alone take care of each other.

Ryan / Nancy - one’s an airhead, the other uses too much logic. Recipe for (heavenly) disaster.

Rin / Charlie - neither of them ever had a friend who was so unconditionally kind to them before. They have a really beautiful friendship based on careful listening and responding to the other’s needs.

Lucy / Henry - neither of them has their life together, yet they will always try to fix the other.

Donnacha / Henry - my dumb, queerplatonic boys, I love them, that is all.

Payton / Autumn - they’re both so perfectly sweet, I find they’re an extremely self-indulgent couple to think about.

Autumn / Claudette - best friends with no secrets and no sense of embarrassment around each other.

26. What’s your favourite relationship/dynamic between a set of OCs?

This might be the most obvious answer, but Shayne x Charlie. There’s so much angst going on there and if I was really mean, I’d let it go on forever (but I don’t, because they do, in fact, deserve to be happy. Eventually. Hehe.)

32. What’s been the most ambitious project you’ve made/are making surrounding your characters?

Hmmm. Off-blog, I have about three novel ideas that I want to finish working on, but I have also considered turning Swallow the World into a novel too, editing it a lot more, and maybe (maybe?!) self-publishing it someday. Whether it would be quite as indulgent in *ahem* certain aspects or not, remains to be seen. I’d hate to have a book out there and not to able to tell any of the people in my life about it. 

33. Have you ever had to kill off an OC? How hard was it?

One of my off-blog projects actually revolves around the death of an OC. It wasn’t difficult, particularly because of the devastation it causes the protagonist. Another angsty boi. Who would have guessed?

34. What scene that you’ve written/imagined is your favorite?

One I always come back to is the scene that takes place in Shoes on the Covers, one of the first chapters I ever posted on my blog. I definitely plan on rewriting it someday, and getting rid of the first-person POV. Shayne shows up at Charlie’s house after having a really horrible day, before they’ve even become friends, and acts like an asshole as Charlie continues to be kind to him, until he eventually winds down and admits he’s not feeling well, and lets Charlie try to take care of him... Guys, it’ll never not make me feel warm and cosy inside.

Eight. Mostly Lamplight Letters related stuff. I want to eventually branch out and write about other PL characters, but there’s so many ideas I still want to explore with Clive, Amelia, Gemma, and Bernard, so... expect mostly them for the indefinite future.

How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?

Rayman, Professor Layton, and I once wrote a High School Musical/Kingdom Hearts crossover as a teen wherein I shipped Ryan Evans and Aerith and I wish I still had it so I could laugh at it. 

In the past, I’ve written mostly original stuff. It takes a really special fandom to hit that sweet spot of me being totally obsessed with it and feeling like there’s room to explore and expand on characters or ideas. 

What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Lamplight Letters (22) - My current big project. Amelia and Clive solve mysteries at a boarding school together.

 Awakening (7) - The first of an ongoing series that explores an AU where Clive is turned into a vampire and inadvertently finds himself out of prison and in a London very different than the ones he remembers. 

Queen of Spades and Spoons tied for third (6) - Both Climelia fluff/angst so this makes me happy they’ve gotten a few kudos

Traces of Glitter and Taxonomy tied for fourth (5) - Both Gemma stories. I need to write more happy fluff for her, she deserves it. 

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

Yes, and I’m trying to be better about responding quickly, now that I’m more involved in the fandom again. I had about a two year hiatus where I was figuring a lot of stuff out and it took me months to respond to comments. I’m going to try to keep up with them better, as best I can, because I really do appreciate everyone who takes the time to comment on my stuff. I never expected anyone to enjoy fics involving my OCs or my niche pairing in an equally niche fandom, but it means a lot to me and always makes my day when I see a new comment. 

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Awakening. I don’t want to spoil it, just in case anyone reading this wants to check it out, but Clive has an all around bad time. 

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not yet 👀 Though I am forever amused by the hate Clive/Amelia received on a Layton confessions blog a few years back. As one of the only people making content for the ship I guess that can be construed as hate toward my fics lolol. I’m just flattered I managed to produce enough content of them for someone to get angry.

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Yes, but nothing I’ve published. Maybe someday, if I ever feel confident and comfortable enough. Just older Climelia things. But I’d rather explore the story of how they slowly reconnect as adults before I dive into anything spicy lol. I feel like that’s something I have to earn. 

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of?? I would be kind of flattered I guess, because of how niche my stuff is. 

Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but definitely impressed by those who take the time to translate fics.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No and probably never will. Writing is challenging enough without adding collaboration to the mix. The closest I’ve come is the back and forth head-canons and drabbles me and my gf @chyouxart send each other. 

What’s your all time favorite ship?

Clive/Amelia. Don’t ask me how an obscure rare-pair grew to be my OTP. It started out with loving both characters and also thinking they’d have good chemistry and things building from there. I liked the challenge of writing a backstory for them and having to create their relationship from scratch.

I’m a sucker for the dynamic of too very cold, very proud people slowly opening up and becoming warm and soft towards each other through rocky, slow-burn friendship. And rivalry banter that turns into flirting. And both having difficult pasts that have eroded their trust and slowly learning to mend it through the things they go through together. And of course the angst that comes with Clive’s eventual decisions and what might happen to their relationship after that. Climelia is my tailor-made ship. It also has big sentimental value, because it’s the ship that allowed me to safely explore a lot of things I didn’t fully realize about myself and further connect with my now gf @chyouxart so it means a lot to me. 

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Lamplight Letters T_T I guess I should amend this question to I hope I’ll be able to finish it. I’ve just been working on it for so long, and now that I’m re-writing a lot of it, it’s going to take even longer. It’s been a bit discouraging, but also I feel a lot better about the early chapters and it is satisfying to see how my writing has improved. I just hope to one day complete it and be able to turn my attention to other big projects, even if that day is still far off. 

What are your writing strengths?

I think I’m pretty good at writing descriptions, especially for locations? I’m also always pretty proud of my metaphors and similes, though I’m trying to learn to use them more sparingly.  I’m a lot more confident in my internal monologues now after writing so many for Amelia.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Not something I’ve attempted yet, and if I did, I’d want to make sure I did my research and would be able to portray other languages respectively and authentically. It can add a lot to a character if done well, if done poorly it just comes off as a gross caricature. 

What was the first fandom you ever wrote for?

Rayman. I was obsessed with the original PS1 game and created an entire expanded universe for it.

What’s your favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Lamplight Letters will always be my baby. I love it. I hate it. I could spend the rest of my life working on it. I want to throw it into space. I wrote the first chapter on a bored whim and it quickly grew into the most ambitious writing project I’ve ever worked on. Definitely served as a writing boot camp for me and I feel like I’ve grown a lot through it, including meeting some amazing people in the fandom.

2020 Creator’s Self-Love Extravaganza

Boy howdy, but it has been a year. So much so that I felt the need to dig up this meme so I can lavish myself with a little TLC, ‘cause you know what? I deserve it! And so do you. 1) Obi Under the Lanterns: Apparently I love writing music about Obi being happy and content :D It’s what best boy deserves. From the very beginning when I decided I wanted to write an album for the Lyrias Time Series I wanted Obi’s to explore a softer side of him, one that’s introspective about his place in the world and where/who with his home is. And I’m really happy with it!!! It’s soft and wistful but grounding at the same time.

2) Jennifer when she bodied idk i didn’t watch the movie (a Kikiyuki AU) - WIP: Sometimes when you procrastinate doing your homework you watch commentaries on movies you have neither seen nor have much intention to see. And Jennifer’s Body was popping up everywhere because people were talking about how the marketing failed the movie and Megan Fox deserved better (she sure did). I’ve also been wanting to write more Kikiyuki ALL YEAR and I had some Moods where I wanted to write gory stuff, so these just all married to create this idea. I don’t predict this is going to be very long bc I’m just trying to finish it (brain pls let me finish SOMETHING omg) but also it’s fun moving out of my writing comfort zone :]

3) Magic!AU Yuris Island Arc Pt 2 - WIP: It’s been months since I worked on this but it was fun and I want to finish it!!!! This ‘arc’ will probably end up being 3 parts and I know how I want it to go. It also has my very first AnS OC!!! I was originally supposed to do this for Trope Battle, but then lockdown started and for like a week I did nothing but go to online classes and Panic and before I knew it Trope Battle was over. And then the whole semester was over. And then the break was over. And then--

4) A DAY6 series based on some MVs with a shared fictional story that was originally meant to be one (1) ship fic now it’s an ensemble fic that’s already spiraled out of my control pls help me i’ve finished nothing - WIP: Listen, those MVs left me with MANY POSSIBILITIES because they gave me YEARNING and MANY FRIENDSHIPS TO EXPLORE. Writer brain ate that up with a spoon!!!! But yeah it’s been a very fun, no-pressure thing and I’ve written it when I wanted to de-stress. But now I want to finish them too and it’s been added to my mental list HHHHHHH

5) Obiyuki Youtuber!AU - WIP: Started writing it for AU Bingo! I might finish it idk but it was rly cute and kinda funny and it reminded me a lot of the kind of Obiyuki I wrote in like 2017 ie “fluff with Reveals(TM)” so that was nice :)

Review of "Satisfy me"

Since I said so, here’s my detailed review of the positive things I picked up from your fanfiction. All of what I am saying is really just my personal opinion and what are my likes on it. But maybe it helps you a little and makes u happy too, I’d be glad, if I could support u with my feedback. But I am not a professional writer nor professional reviewer myself, I just know the basics and stuff from the time I wrote fanfics myself. It’s up to you, if you wanna publish the following or just answer me in private. So let’s get going:

+ The wording:

I wanna start with the obvious: The general writing style. I as a person who rarely reads anything and is hard to get hooked up on something, I have to say that this fanfic has the unique ability to make me keep reading. The way the sentences are phrased, very diversely that it doesn’t get boring. But I guess that’s the experience and practice, since I looked though ur Master List, you seem to be a Writer for a little longer already. But yeah, I personally think the choice of words is interesting, keeps the reader reading and makes hungry for wanting to know more and that’s always what keeps a story going.

+ The Story Idea:

Personally I am a huge fan of demon lore and everything surrounding it. So the first glimpse I got of the basic idea got my interest already. I have to say the lore is worked out so well, basing on real life christian religion – if i am not mistaken – that I can learn a lot more about it throughout the story. It gives the story depth and makes it tangible. I am simply in love with the concept of Saeran and Luciel being the demon princes of hell and the supporting characters surrounding them. I really dig how u adapted the other characters and made your own as well, fitting in and to the story. The dark fantasy concept is just amazing, since it’s already of my liking.

+ The first few Chapters:

I have to admit, I was startled at first by the approach of the first few chapters, but now that I gasped the full story so far, I have to say the first few chapters are the strongest, in my opinion. Not only come they off strong by their wording, but interpreting it makes oneself see, why. It gives the exposition to the character development. It gives actually the first hints of what’s going to happen. It also gives something to compare, which measures character development. I am glad those first few chapters got me hooked up to read further, to get the whole image this far.

+ How the Characters are written:

Saying so already in the previous point, but pointing it out again: The character development, especially for Saeran. I could clearly see his progress in changing over the story so far and it really amazed me. I love comparing character to how they were in the beginning of a story and where they are standing now. It feels impossible that a character would do in the very beginning, what he does later on, and that shows the growth of said character really well. I am exited for how much further he’s going to change throughout the rest of the story. Because the development done so far, was a natural and reasonable transition. It wasn’t forced, just for the sake of development. That’s what makes it so great.

But not only he changed, but MC as well. But for her I think the strong points are, which a lot of people would probably point out: She is not the damsel in distress. She herself is a strong character, knowing how to talk and act on her own. One surprising point of how this MC is written, was also the inclusion of her mother. That took a really dark turn, but it compliments the story so well and gives it just even more depth.

Then, the inclusion of OC’s, they add up greatly with the already established cast. Also an obvious pick, but Ricward, especially in the latest chapter, is written so fitting for the story and gives a great contrast, to how most characters are portrayed (rather hectic and dramatic, while he is more on the calm and thoughtful side). He has his own charms and is a memorable character.

+ The Humor:

Most of the humor bases on sarcasm, tied to cursing, at least that’s the impression I got. And this humor is simply the best humor, in my opinion. It entertains me a lot, since it’s exactly my kind of humor. It’s apparent in scenes where it’s fitting for it to be. It loosens up the otherwise tight plot and scenes and shows off another side of the story. Again I have to say, it gives it a certain sense of “reality”. And a little breath from all the stress which is otherwise omnipresent. It gives the reader a short break to be ready for the next big thing.

+ The approach on the topic of Sexuality in the story:

I wish to be especially honest with this one, I myself am not that interested in the sexual part of the story, sex is simply not not my thing. And that’s why I think I might be over interpreting with this one. I guess the scenes were planned to pleasure the reader, while I myself have a more observing and analyzing look on those scenes. So my observations thus far are, that the story element of how sexuality is portrait, tries to teach something by comparing the very beginning to where we are right now:

At first the rough sex, i’d already call it rape, is presented as a simple and daily thing demons do: Not caring for the other part during it and just using the other person for their own pleasures, not even caring of the person gave their consent. It’s portrait as: How things are in hell. And exactly that motive is still present later on again in the story (the whole arc with Dante so far). But it also shows the development Saeran goes through. He is still a perverted demon to this point, but he started caring for MC while they were having Sex and not only fucks around for fun anymore. It’s a strong point, that you made clear, that he can only fuck her, if she really gives her consent, personally I think that’s one of the most important aspects of it.

Where it really showed, that sex became something more meaningful to him, was the scene, where he showed MC how to masturbate correctly. Present in the same story arc, as the other extreme with Dante and even Saerans thoughts on what Dante was doing to that demon woman. A direct comparing of those two extremes presented in a way that it has a huge impact on the reader. Hands down, that writing deserves a round of applause.

+ The fluff:

Contrasting to the sexual part, I enjoy and love the rather fluffy and lovely parts of the fanfiction. It’s not a silly, corny romance how it’s presented in the media all over, that makes us the viewer feel rather awkward watching. No, this one has spice. That makes it really unique, it keeps the rough features, which are mostly presented in the sex scenes, but tones them down, that it becomes adorable without being cheesy or embarrassing. In my opinion it’s the perfect way to show a romance in that setting. But I in general really dig this kind of stuff, so this one really reflects my own opinion on it.

+ The scenery:

From the castle in hell, to the setting on earth and especially the clothes they wear. It’s simply my aesthetics. I mentioned it already, when I stated my opinion to the story idea, but I am really amazed by the whole setting. The fanfic gives me a clear image in my head on how everything looks. I know this is more on the interpreting side of things, but what’s established in the story as locations and surroundings is stunning and amazed me to no end. One particular thing I kept in mind as stunningly beautiful – which I might gonna draw fanart of: Mc’s midnight blue dress. Which sadly only survived half a chapter, before Saeran decided to stRip it off her.

Now in the very end, I have a few questions left, I’d like to ask.

Starting with a strange one:

How many pages is the fanfic so far?

I want it for my own comparison, since I mentioned in the very beginning, I am not really someone who reads that much.

Then the next question:

How many more chapters did u plan for the future? If you can’t answer that, maybe a rough calculation or a percentage, on how much u wrote so far?

And my last question, which is also personal interest, to review your writing a little bit more for myself:

Did you plan everything till now out from the very beginning? And what are things you added later on? Like a quick idea, inspiration of some sort, you only thought off during writing?

Tied to that: Did you plan on making this such a long fanfiction from the beginning on? Or did the plot and everything around it just developed on and on and on? My guess if that would be the case, it’s because of the good feedback of your readers.

OH Wow!!! I’m in awe at how much you’ve reviewed!!! I’ll be honest, I was a bit nervous about what you would say ^^;;. I know you didn’t write the negative (which I appreciate it!!) but I hope the positive outweighed it!! This review means a lot to me!!! One of the negatives I could maybe guess though, is the “______” I put in my writing since it has come up before. If that’s one of them, the reason I do is because MC or Y/N is cringy to me and I absolutely loathe using it. >_<

I actually only started writing fanfiction January of last year so it hasn’t been too long for me. I’ve tried to write like someone is watching a movie, I watch scenes in my head and try to portray them into words. I’m not expert and I know I need improvement with sentence structure and editing, which I’ve actually thought about going back to school for because I would like some day to get published.

How many pages is the fanfic so far?  I didn’t start putting the chapters on the same word document until chapter 31. But chapter 31-50 are 48 pages on Word. There is 70,423 total words currently in the fic.

How many more chapters did u plan for the future?  At it stands I think Satisfy only has about 10 chapters left, depending on how I get to the main plot points. But I’ve already been bouncing ideas off my friends for a sequel because of the ending I have planned.

Did you plan on making this such a long fanfiction from the beginning on? I’m going to answer this one first because I NEVER thought that this fic would grow to what it has! I’m still humbled on how many people enjoy and love it. I thought that it would be a WIP that I would abandon because readers would absolutely hate it! When I started to get so much positive feedback and interest I was getting I had the urge to continue.

Did you plan everything till now out from the very beginning? I did not. I had a few things planned at the beginning and sometimes I just let my mind wander and my fingers follow just to see what I would come up with. An example is Ricward. I had planned to have him in one or two chapters, and having his appearance at a minimum. As I was writing him though, I wanted him to show up more and more for the calm balance he brought. I have a backstory for him but haven’t shared it yet because it could be a spoiler on who exactly he really is. 

Zophiel is another one. I haven’t decided yet if he will show up again right now but he will be in the sequel and will find out more about him. As I’m writing the final chapters he may very well show up if I feel he needs to make an entrance to help tie the story together. I didn’t want to have the typical everyone in the RFA and wanted to give the story some things extra, which brought out the OCs, it also allowed me to be more creative. 

All the ideas I’ve had before writing aren’t set in stone because they could always change once I sit down and actually start writing. Getting from idea A to idea B could end up changing what I want to happen in plot point B (if that makes sense ^^;;) 

At the beginning I didn’t plan on having other demons or torture and ended up researching both for hours trying to give some accuracy to my writing. With the scene being in Hell I thought that torture would be a good touch. I also wanted to get practice in writing different scenes for any future fanfictions I may write.

ruth balakov  - she is SUPER high energy. if you interact with ruth, expect her to be just short of bouncing off the walls. also, she’s super random, so don’t be surprised if she just rambles on and on about all kinds of random shit

samir chaudhry - this guy may seem immature, but he’s actually very thoughtful and considerate

tutankhamun “tut” mcmullen  - he’s emotional. look up “emo” and there will be a pic of tut. however, he’ll try and hide it if he thinks that his emotions will hurt the other person (well, that’s if he cares about them. if he doesn’t, then he’ll let it all out) 

jughead jones - he’s a little shit. he’s also not the dark and brooding jughead from riverdale. i cannot stress that enough. my jughead is asexual, loves burgers more than life, and doesn’t say shit that sounds like a young chuck palahniuk. instead, he’s more like roald dahl minus a dash of the whimsy

melody valentine - again, she is NOT riverdale based. that’s honestly the most important thing about her and jughead. my melody is sunshine in a person and sings everything she says with the occasional bit of cryptic wisdom

mark darcy - basically, he’s a modern mr. darcy. something to know about him and my portrayal is that i’m probably not going to write him with a lot of people. most of the muse i have for him is when i’m writing him against bridget, and i can’t really change that. he’s deeply in love with her, and ??

choi han-kyul - this kid is the grandson of the chairwoman of a company so like he’s hella rich, and he takes it for granted at first. but then, he’s put in charge of running a coffee shop, and he matures a lot through the process. however, he doesn’t lose his playfulness. he’s honestly one of my favorites, and if anyone ever wanted to write with him, i would be beyond happy. 

dr. noelle akopian - she’s a psychiatrist who’s done with ur shit

greg serrano - self-sabotaging but currently working on improving his life. in business school, used to be a bartender. recovering alcoholic. 

maya - she’s the most pure and pls don’t hurt her

valencia perez - used to be a yoga instructor, but is now an event coordinator. hella gay even tho the show doesn’t admit it. deserves to be appreciated. is working on improving her “mean girl” tendencies. the “mean girl” tendencies tho are partially bc she’s never really had female friends and she just...doesn’t know what to do? she’s actually an awkward bean, but her beauty prevents a lot of ppl from realizing it

johnny castle - soft. again, don’t hurt him. he’s a dance instructor at a resort, but he can work in a lot of different verses. you need a dancer? he’s there. he’s very serious about his craft, and is a genuine human being. he appreciates honesty. 

blair warner - she’s rich af and can be super conceited, but she knows how to have a good time and has a little bit of a devious streak. depending on the verse - is either in law school or a lawyer. intelligent altho ppl don’t expect it. 

jo polniaczek - looks tough, is a soft. don’t let her leather jacket and motorcycle fool you. jo polniaczek just wants a simple life and she wants people to be happy and respected. respect is big with her. 

emily gilmore - a socialite altho she prefers the term “philanthropist.” emily might seem “evil” to some people, but she has good intentions (in her mind). she only does things when she thinks they’re the “right” thing to do (at least, before the revival), but she also has a bit of a mischievous streak that’ll come along every now and then. her upbringing instilled certain lessons in her that she’s unlearning little by little. 

meredith quill - she loves classic rock, motown, her son, and the world. she’s one of those people who’s in love with life, and her enthusiasm is genuine. 

alice longbottom - she’s kind and altruistic. however, she’s not a pushover. my alice isn’t “soft” alice. she’s “u said something super ignorant and im gonna tell you why youre wrong” alice. gryffindor. 

arthur weasley - arthur wants to learn everything he can about the world around him. a bit of an absent-minded professor, even tho his mind is always turning. he just has so many thoughts happening all at once, he can tend to jump from subject to subject without connecting them sometimes. gryffindor (altho he was almost a ravenclaw)

helga g. pataki - helga is someone who came from a bad situation and pretty much raised herself. most of her interactions will be after high school. my headcanon is that she finished school and got a scholarship to ivy league and after that, she went to law school at another ivy. she hopes to be the first female president one day. she’s aggressive, but deep down, she cares a lot. 

effie trinket - seems like an airhead, but effie is smarter than you think. she grew up in a society where certain things were expected so she fulfilled them. her upbringing was also extremely different in the sense that she was fed propaganda from a young age and never knew differently, but her experiences in district 12 (or other verse equivalents) have shown her that the world isn’t what she thought it was, and she’s learning what life actually is little by little 

katniss everdeen - i won’t write katniss a lot just bc it takes me into a place that’s harder to get out of, but my katniss is a sacrifice of her circumstances. she never wanted to be a revolutionary figure and never felt comfortable with her position in it even after the war was over. her “toughness” that people seem to see is just katniss trying to survive. survival is her driving aspect. 

jane villanueva - jane is a mama who is also an incredible writer whose first book is in the process of being published. she writes romance novels so essentially she’s just like us! she likes having a plan for everything, and her family is number ONE in her life

michael cordero a detective. is also a major nerd. thinks he could be a comedian, but he’s not actually that funny. like maybe if you have a certain sense of humor. he lives with a certain code of ethics, however, they might get bent at points if he thinks it’s for the best of the situation. 

rogelio de la vega - telenovela actor. if your character met him on the street, they might not know him if they haven’t watched telenovelas, but he will assume that they know who he is and that he’s famous. SUPER dramatic. don’t be alarmed.  

elle woods - amazing lawyer, loves the color pink, member of delta nu. in my version, i take pieces from the movie and musical. for my elle, vivienne was the one who told her to come back to the case (like in the musical), but at the end, elle doesn’t propose to emmett. instead, she and vivienne start dating and fall in love and get married 

ryan atwood - he came from not a great family, and then he got adopted by this uber rich fam in the oc (orange county, california). he’s navigating his new life, and grappling with who exactly he is and what his place is in the world. just know that he’s deeply loyal and cares a lot about people

pam beesly - receptionist at dunder-mifflin paper company. insecure, but is slowly coming out of her shell. is an artist and outlawed at chili’s. is a huge dork, but also adorable. 

fitzwilliam darcy - super rich bc he inherited everything from his parents after they died. they died when he was young, so he was thrust into responsibility at an early age which is part of why he is the way he is. seems stuck-up (and kind of is), but he just doesn’t care of societal expectations of friendliness even though he gets caught in what society expects when it pertains to manners, etc. is his sister’s guardian, and she means more to him than anything else in the world

jane bennet - pure, the sweetest. the oldest sister of five. in modern verses, i have her as a preschool teacher

queen clarisse renaldi - queen of genovia. a literal queen. tries to be diplomatic. expects people to do as she tells them bc she’s a queen. has dealt with some shit in her life - her husband died, her SON died. tries to stay optimistic. 

sabrina fairchild - suicide attempt tw: her father is a chauffeur for a super rich fam. suffered from depression. attempted suicide, but thankfully, was found before it was too late. after that, she was sent to paris and attended cooking school. fell in love with paris, and also healed. developed a love for life. became a fashion designer. 

capheus onyango - son of a local leader who was murdered when capehus was young. was raised by his mother who he loves more than this earth. spent awhile driving a bus called the “van damme.” is a sensate, meaning he is connected to seven other people. idealistic, kind, and too good for this world. 

princess fiona - i’ll mostly be playing her with a real life fc. she’s a princess, an actual princess, and her parents had her in a tower for years bc there was a spell on her that turned her into an ogre at night. so kinda like the swan princess but instead of a swan, she’s an ogre. black belt. enjoys burping. 

shrek - an ogre, however, if i keep him, ill be playing him mostly with a real life fc. isolated from a young age, had to take care of himself. is insecure because of how he looks and who he is. enjoys burping as well. has layers. 

charles brooks - in charge of a publishing company. divorced. has two daughters. is cautious when entering new relationships because of his position and his family. respectful. intelligent. is finally starting to live life in a way that aligns with what he likes. 

josh - tattoo artist. human golden retriever except more funky. is just trying to enjoy life while he can. definitely a millennial. spontaneous. knows how to have a good time. is super duper loyal and kind.
