I started work on my RPM project today. Drums for 8/10 songs recorded. For those who don’t know, RPM, or Record Production Month, is an annual challenge that takes place in the month of February where musicians challenge themselves to write and record an entire album (10 songs or 35 minutes of music) before the month is over. I’ve been doing this challenge every year since 2016 and it’s always a blast.

I often use RPM as an excuse to play around with genres outside of my typical purview with my main projects like Mistwalker and Ratpiss. This year I decided to write a thrash metal album entirely themed around the lore of the Fallout universe. Hoping I can get it done in time.

2024 RPM Challenge Day 26/29

Damn it! I did it again. It's 10:20pm on day 27 and I haven't posted day 26's update yet. Stop doing that, Robert!

Okay, yesterday... what did I do yesterday. If memory serves, I put lead guitars onto four songs and mixed two. That brought my total number of finished songs up to eight.

And that was day 26. Stay tuned for day 27........

Day 20: Ranger Team of 1 Colour

Apologies in advance this will be a long one today.

I couldn't choose just one colour or even my favourites because I would feel bad about the ones I didn't choose so I just did all of them kind of, I did a team of Red, Pink, Blue, Yellow, Black and Green, plus one team of the rest of the colours.

To keep it a bit more challenging I decided I could only choose a Ranger once. Also went with 6 Rangers per team

So without further adieu here are my teams

2024 RPM Challenge Day 25/29

It's 8:40pm on day 26 and I just realized I didn't write up my day 25 progress yet! Here it is, very late!

I can't remember! ARGH!

I put vocals on the last five songs. That was yesterday, wasn't it? I also mixed three songs. Yeah, that's what I did... I think. I'll have a day 26 post in the morning. I promise (no I don't, actually).
