This movie was a financial failure, but it's my first time seeing it. AND it is very goddamn good!
Much of the supporting/ensemble cast are incredible, many have moved into be popularly known.
Shame that the film's failure lead to Stallone giving up on dramatic/thriller roles.
This movie was not given a fair shake by audiences or critics.

Apple Seed (2019) [Blu-ray review]
“Apple Seed” was brought to life by the creative vision of director Michael Worth, who also penned the script. This independent production showcases the resilience and determination of filmmakers operating outside the Hollywood system. Its release in 2019 came at a time when the film industry was dominated by franchise reboots and sequels, making “Apple Seed” a bold and welcome departure from the…

The late Mabel Chilton (Miriam Margolyes) went to her grave a full twelve months ago, leaving her hardware store to Ed, where he employs the kindly (Gary Farmer) and fields phone calls from the murderous Reverend Paxton (Rance…

Psycho (1998)

How do you possibly begin to remake a film like Psycho? A film that remains one of the most iconic and prised gems in the crown of Alfred Hitchcock’s filmography? A film that is revered as the genesis of the slasher-horror genre. A better question would be should you even begin to remake psycho, like so many other films, where a familiar brand name and scenario can mean big dollars for the…

Ticks is a good bad movie made in 1993. Starring Peter Scolari, Seth Green, Amy Dolenz , Clint and Rance Howard ,Rosiland Allen, and Barry Lynch ( Richards brother)the story is set around ticks infested by steroids and cannabis. And a wilderness group of troubled teens. And a pair of crazed rednecks add to the mayhem. The ticks start attacking everyone. And the scenes are gross and very icky. The special effects are pretty good.
