Fin { Yep. A month or so of being absent and I have to say goodbye to this two SEYxJTY crossover. So as exchange to all of it, I have decided to give you this quite long part. So for the last time in Crossover, enjoy reading y'all~😌😗 }
Tumblr media
The next day came so fast as the rays of the blistering sun strikes her first flash of the day, in an instant Sung Eunyoung was flustered by her surroundings. On a broad daylight, alone in a sedan, wrapped in a man's sweater jacket. She can only think of one culprit in mind for her instincts never disappoint her the moment she went out of the car, welcomed by his sturdy back in front of her.
“Jang Taeyoung.”
Hearing his name being called, he glanced without second thoughts. “Finally. You’re awake.” He greeted while she was taken aback by his manly demeanor. ‘Mierda. When did he become so captivating for my sight like this?!’ Pressing her lips to hold her delving emotions, she retorted. Walking forward to his pace.
“Where the hell did you just brought me t---“
“Morning, Sleepyhead.”
A grinning man responded to her. Indeed, she was surprised. The moment she realized the whole place around her, she can only stare at him with bewilderment as a particular flashback sinks into her. “Why are we…”
“I just thought I haven’t properly invited you to appreciate the coast. You know, together. So, here.”
He’s stalling, she just knew. That isn’t the answer she wanted to hear. “No. What I mean is, why would you Jang Taeyoung?”
“Because I’ve promised you.” breathing in the air of Mexico’s coastline, he added. “Is that what you want to hear, Eunyoung?”
And she can no more be embarrassed than that. Tongue-tied by the fact that it was indeed true. Pursing her lips as the only escape she can think of. “So that’s what you mean 3 years ago. You did receive it then...” a whispering verses she intended to let go but never thought can be heard.
“I did.” Tucking his hands to his pockets, “It took long though. But… I still reach your deadline, am I?” he questioned, yet she remained speechless. That how he concluded it for himself. “Guess I am not.”
“No!”
She exclaimed. “No. I mean, yes!” she can only shut her eyes for another embarrassment. Or rather, she simply doesn’t feel like herself right now. A different person far for being Sung Eunyoung.
Been expecting his chuckle, she accepted her defeat. “Now what’s with that sudden fuss, Eunyoung?” And it did. Fisting her palms, she urged to counter. “It’s just…” and then she buffered. Suddenly she can’t think of words to follow. Walking straight for a perfect sight she can get with the coastline, or rather more to avoid his glances. It was her turn to stall for her own accord. “Just…”
Only to no avail excuse of repeating a preceding word all over again. “I had expected myself dead.” He needed to barge in. “What?” But turns to be an off-guard disclosure for her as shock written in her face, eyes gazing back at to him instantly. “Taeyoung…” for she had to pry the second time like as if affirming she wasn’t fibbed by what she heard.
And she wasn’t. Because the moment he moved forward beside her, looking at the endless bay in front of them. She knew, she has to brace herself for the next sentences he’ll impart. “That time…” he finally started.
And she listened to, witnessing a blowing exhale from him. “I made a deal with my former boss.”
“Igor Oblonsky. The Russian mafia leader.” She offered to spell the name, as he easily confirmed it in a nod. “The vicious of all. That the moment I thought of consequence I already expected it to be my death. Even meeting you again did not cross my mind.”
She can’t keep up with his words. As he diverts his gaze to look at her with a trivial smile on his face, she was already drowning so deep, forgetting the thoughts of rising. “I mean it, Eunyoung. I really thought of it as our last. Your drizzle of tears that stared at me back then. My last glimpse of you. I savored it, woman. Then things happened, I still forget you.”
“But you remember me now.”
“Yet not all of you.”
And once again she lost for words, “Jang…” except calling his name. “Not all of you, Sung Eunyoung.” He needed to repeat it for her. “You don’t know the feeling of waking up in a coma just to learn about having selective amnesia. Remembering everything except you. How f*ck up was that?!”
She was taken aback. She already had a hard time learning about his coma few days ago, but she never thought the part of forgetting her was as serious as, “Selective amnesia?” she needed to utter it once again.
“Yes, Eunyoung. That even a simple glimpse of your photo gave me countless headaches. But you know what’s worst?”
She can only leave her response in silence when seeing his blank stares in nowhere. Her fidgeting fingers which nonetheless do any good for her pounding emotion. “It was when I have to accept the melancholic truth that it wasn’t my body who died after all but rather…”
He halted. He needed to for it seems his words hesitates to spill. “Rather what, Jang?” it was her voice who gain him courage to continue. “My identity itself, Eunyoung.” But a sudden regret for her after witnessing a downright mien from him she had never seen but now. “I killed the only remembrance I know of my existence.”
To hug herself, is the only way she could think of as she smooths her upper arm to calm her guise temperament. She’s nervous. That it just makes it worse the moment she gets to stared back by those eyes again.
“My identity as Jang Taeyoung.”
And she lost it. She finally lost her sanity for the next thing she knew, it was her who cup his face for a kiss. A kiss she gladly wants to seal among any other. An exchange of her saying, ‘I’m sorry.’ Her silent console to his broken heart. Thus the only way to convey, ‘You’re not alone.’
Her soft entrance to fill his gloomy soul. As they sway to the rhythm of their kisses, the mutual flushes of their faces. The synchronic tune of their beating hearts. For on then moment, one thing's for sure.
Tumblr media
“Eunyoung…” he called for her.
“You have me, Jang Taeyoung. I will remember you.” while she bestows her reassurance.
They are each other’s relief.
~
“Here…”
Eunyoung accepts the Taco he offered. A food he prepared beforehand right after he decided to carry her with him. “Tss. If I don’t know you at all, I would really think you’re a gigolo who randomly kidnaps an innocent maiden for his own accord.” She spites, before grabbing a bite on the Taco. “Am I not?” he spites back, sipping a portion of his cola drink in his hand as he tilts his head while coyly watching her leaning by his chest. She can only roll her eyes out to surrender. A breathy sigh she exhaled as placid wind touch her face. And danced her lengthy loose hair.
It was a sight to remember. Just them, sitting on a picnic blanket, enjoying a picturesque landscape of the seas, talking stuffs and topics they missed to share throughout their lonesome journey. A Jang Taeyoung’s embrace behind her that have always been enough warmth she ventures. She like it. She like this feeling of first time.
Not when she suddenly felt it tightened together his resting chin by her shoulder. She knew, they are on a way of turning their little leisure back from the main course of his pitiful past. She dived along, she waited. “They have to declare me dead in papers to clear my case as fugitive, how f*cking dramatic. Isn’t it, Eunyoung?” And he vents out.
His hurtful whispers that lingers through the cores of sympathy she cannot ignore. “Just shit. I know my life is already a mess but to add a f*cking twist is messier.” He continued, while she blows another sigh, sinking every detail she heard from him. “But how… For all we know they are aloof of evidences against you, so how? How did it suddenly possess in their hands just like that?”
She intervenes as she rubs her palm to soothe his tensed enclosing arms with him scoffing by just the thought of the imbecile root behind it. “Unless someone tip them besides the old Alcaziar.” He voiced it out anyway.
“What?”
While it became a new surprise for her. Delving by her disbelieving sight, “He did, Eunyoung. Even before busting us that night.” He hast to clarify.
She was speechless. She is, for she cannot put any word but silence. “Zilo doesn’t know about this, does he?”
She managed to ask, only to be responded by his shaking head. “It’s better not to. It will only make him feel guilty. To blame himself by his father’s fault is already enough. He doesn’t need to feel accountable more about it.”
He reasoned out, while she pulls away from his hug before turning to gaze at him on the side. “Hm?” he questionably hummed.
Tumblr media
“You have a soft spot for that dimwit, aren’t you?” she maliciously counter, for it was his obvious denial and hissing demeanor who responded her. “No. I’m not…”
“You are!” she teased. As it was the reason of their uniting laughter. “Stop it.” Playfully swipes down a palm to her whole face, he plead. His laughter which has faded then with only a small smile that’s left when staring at her beaming appearance. A hopeful realization grows into him. “I love you.”
Those three words. Three magical words he hopes to be reciprocated. “I love you. Sung Eunyoung.”
She was taken aback. She was, for her beaming smile that once plastered had gone into doubts of memory. Just like that, staring back at him suddenly became a hard thing to do that he had to bring it back by cupping her cheek. “I had enough coping about the past, Eunyoung. Can we… Can we just think about today? Just the two us. We deserve to be happy after all, Isn’t it?”
He begged. His searching globes that as if trying to read behind the lines of her soul. His sweet caress tempting to pull away her uncertainties. “Jang…”she wanted to give in. Taking the bait of chances as she took a second to duck down her head to calibrate what she really felt inside. “I… But I, Jang… I…”
She’s holding back still. She just doesn’t know why. She keeps questioning herself what’s wrong but no answer. She can’t think of any that can give her at peace. “I’m not leaving, Eunyoung. If that’s what you’re afraid of. This time I’ll stay. I’ll stay even until you’ll get sick of me to.”
But how? How was it easy for Jang Taeyoung to know it before her? She was afraid, and she just knew. The repetitive sequence of people around her, leaving. From her parents she cherished, up to almost losing him. And then here he is coming back, wavering the hell in her that things might happen the second time. She’s done of it.
Slowly, he takes her chin up for him to meet her eyes again. Those seeking eyes who never fails to knock into the deepest of her silent wearies. “You’ll let me, right?” Yet it only takes a single word from him to shatter all of it into pieces for her. She finally accepted the obvious reality.
A life she also wished to imagine with him. “Can… Can we really do it, Jang?”
He just stared at her. With reassuring curves of his lips as he slips inside his sweater jacket which she ended up wearing to cover her thin layer dress. Taking out her hand inside as he starts rubbing circles of it with his thumb.
Tumblr media
“We are together now, woman. Of course, we can.”
He uttered. With those luring eyes that had successfully hook her from the definite uncertainty she’s been bunching up too much. She surrendered. Starting by the smile she urged to reciprocate with his candid one. A gamble she finally willing to risk. His touch that had mark too many spells as he leans to grant her a kiss.
Suppose to. He was about to indeed, if not interrupted by the sudden noise of his phone which left them snigger in bashfulness instead as his curt behavior of rubbing his nape didn’t fail for her to notice. Fishing to get his ringing phone out of his pocket while directly asking for a silent signal from her where she permitted nevertheless.
“This is so unfair. Did I just easily permit this loco when he didn’t even do the same for me few days ago? Shall I try to seduce him as well?”
Her whispering series of soliloquy then after verifying the far distance between them, the same time she realized what stupid thought she had just in mind. “Mierda. Contrólate, Sung Eunyoung. This isn’t you anymore. Damn it.”
Scolding herself after shutting her eyes into dismissing that humiliating idea she never expected she had an audacity to think of. She chose to avoid watching him from afar instead as she turns her head to capture the sight of the serene seas once again.
~
It was the stroking touch of his calloused hands that jolts her awake of from her reverie. “Oh. Your finish?” a question that is just too obvious for a silly excuse. “Hm. Sorry about that.” Lucky for her, he seemed oblivious of her actions like he normally doesn’t for he looks disturb with his own thought as well.
“We should go, aren’t we?” she guessed.
And she was right. While he can only hum as answer. “As much as I want to prolong our day here together, your mom needs my assistance back at home.”
Just to be brazen in an instant. “Wait, what?! Mamá? It was my mom who called you just now, you saying?” followed by the obvious complain she needed, only to be reciprocated by his unbothered chuckle which only boiled up her upsets. “You’re laughing?” including her grumbles that had simply interrupted by his next ones.
A laughing Jang Taeyoung can’t get enough teasing his growling volatile while in the middle of picking up their belongings. “So grumpy. Are you jealous of your own mom?”
“Je-jelous? Yah! Jang Taeyoung. I just can’t believe my mom would actually call you personally, alright. That’s just it. Psh. How come mamá easily ask your help rather than her daughter here. Worst, I didn’t even know you’re much closer with my parents than I thought. What a pleasant surprise Mr. Jang. This is so unfair.”
“Woh, woh, woh! Halt there, bulldozer. I felt attacked.”
“As you should. Why not, huh?”
“Okay! Okay, you win. I’m sorry.”
And yeah. He can never win to a Sung Eunyoung whom he frustrates indeed as he can only raise his arms to surrender. “You’ll know once we get there, okay. Come on now, Eunyoung.”
He urged to walk ahead only to stop by his tracks when he notice she didn’t even follow him from behind and just remained standing on her spot as if trying to kill him by her glares. Taking his steps back to her, he compromised. “Fine, you can save your grumbles for later. But for now, we seriously need to get going, Eunyoung. Your parents are waiting. Hm?”
She can only hiss to consider as she decided to walk ahead of him this time. “I can sense you smiling from here cábron. Stop it, or I might just rip that mouth of yours instead.”
For indeed he was as it only takes a second for him to change in a straight face expression when throwing their leftovers in a side entry garbage bin along their way. Eyes, solely fixed at her striding behind. Pressing a keyless button key from his pocket, accommodating her of unlocking the car as he goes straight to putting the belongings they used on the backseat.
Yet even when he’s in the middle of doing it, Eunyoung’s unmoving presence didn’t fail to get his notice, given the frowning glare she did watching him. “You’re not getting in?” That after he finish with his thing, closing the door of the backseat he directly asked to fill his confusion. “Or you want me to open the door for y--- Why?”
Jang Taeyoung was cut off his sentence indeed while ended up asking instead as he felt her soft hand holding his wrist, stopping him from opening the passenger door. Waiting for her response.
“I’m sorry.”
For she did, while he already knew punning don’t do good except silence. “There I said it.” As she further continues her verses. “I don’t even know why I’m apologizing and with this expression but I guess I just need to. So, I’m sorry.” For true indeed, her frown is still evident.
He needed, to pull away her hold on his wrist. Moving her to lean by the car, smoothing her elbow as she is crossing his arms in front of him. “Isn’t it because you’re mad?”
“I’m not. I’m totally sure I’m not mad you Jang Taeyoung.”
“Then what is it?” She cannot answer.
For she herself do not know what it is even. Thus how she rather looks down to hide her own blank justification. “Look at me, Eunyoung.” Bringing her chin up to face him. “Tell me.” He encouraged.
“I don’t know.” Just as fast as she chose to be heard.
“I just don’t know Jang Taeyoung. Or was it the fact that maybe I was just too overwhelmed with all these things happened that I actually don’t know myself anymore.”
He frowned. “What makes you think that?”
“You?”
“Me? Okay, me. Then why did I hear a question mark by the end of mentioning me?”
“That’s why I told you, I don’t know.” Sighing, she continued. “I simply don’t know Jang Taeyoung. Because, you coming back. With me, expecting the same intimidating man who’ll curse me from what I did but no. You become different, and that’s the problem.”
She didn’t realize she’s at putting an answer with her own confusion for it was him to make her realize it herself. “How different to be your problem, Eunyoung?”
“Enough to stir my heart out.” Finally, she did. “I have expected you to hate me, Jang. Heck, I don’t expect you to love me but here you are, becoming the softest far from how I known you to be, earning to impress me. It bothers me.”
Biting her lower lip as she stared at him. “It bothers me that I’m learning to become the person I’m not used to be when I’m with you. This whole thing, this is all new for me Jang Taeyoung. If only you kn---“
She wasn’t able to finish her sentences for it was his lips who captures her. The zealous permitting of Jang Taeyoung to enter her mouth as delving emotion run through the systems of her acceptance.
“I know, Eunyoung. I totally know because so was I. Then if this is the case for both of us, why not learn together. Let us learn together, Sung Eunyoung.”
The claim of his words that had met the soul of her uncertainty. “Shall we?” embracing the imperfection of their reality. “No pun intended, volatile.” For it was Jang Taeyoung’s quirky response and her small giggle along unreserved initiative of pulling him into another kiss.
Tumblr media
A heated kiss that speaks the platitude of their heightening relationship. As he deepens their kisses with her whimpers that had finally slip through her voices. The result of harboring feelings, unpinned by insanity they long suppress at times.
Finally, they’re at it. As Jang Taeyoung cannot hold himself of pushing her further as if they were still spaces needed to occupy, an arm gripping the top of the car, jailing her in between with his other arm snaking her waist. Not too hustle to deal with for Eunyoung cooperated to it, wrapping her arms to her cábron’s neck doing the same pressure he wanted. They can’t get enough each other, that is.
Not when their sloppy kisses started to become a public display of affection. A kind of affection done too explicitly. On a broad daylight as Jang Taeyoung’s hands on her waist intuitively begins to slip inside her undershirt with her compelling to his little ministrations even as she also has her own way of grasping to his hair, liking the sensation he bestows.
They have forgotten about the morals of their surroundings, spelled by the reflexes of their cravings. “Oh f*ckin’ sh---“
Just for him to be kneed on his bottom, crouching in pain from the unexpected charge Sung Eunyoung did to him. Yes, no other than his volatile indeed who’s being reprimanded by a passerby they don’t even know. Along the siren sound of their car alarm with the rapping words of an 80-year-old Spanish woman and its barking dog.
Jang Taeyoung can only curse silently, glaring at the unresolved apology of Eunyoung’s eyes, torn between two persons she has to treat for attention. Dealing by the current situation they are in. “Are you even listening, Hija?”
“Si!”
Terrified by a disappointing query of the other, fully leaving him unattended for he had no choice but to listen with two woman talking in Spanish. “Is this how couples act these days? I can’t believe my eyes. You both lucky, woman my age saw it. If minors did? What are you going to do about it? Dios Mio! Get a grip of yourselves children.”
The old woman even did a sign of a cross, a reclamation to its devoted religion. For indeed, they are more than guilty of their actions. He was in the middle of kissing her neck earlier, busted by the 80-year-old, walking her dog as she frantically kicked their car definitely, seeing the inappropriate scene in front of her. Causing the car’s alarm to jolt them, till the rest is history.
And if not wasn’t with his own dilemma, he could have had laugh with her struggle. Her grimaced expression, reserving the tiniest pride left from the embarrassment she experienced. Lucky her for obviously he can’t. “Lo siento. Lo siento mucho la abuela. We promise this won’t happen again.”
For it was her further apologies that came out of her mouth. “Como debería.” And the stern avowal of the other as she grabs its shih tzu pup to cuddle her arms instead, before leaving them with Eunyoung attending at him just much.
“Are you alright? Hurt?”
He can only glare at her, groaning. “Obviously, I’m not?” for his sarcasm needed to show itself naturally. Good thing it didn’t seem to bother her somehow for she was occupied of assisting him. “Can you stand?”
“Help me.”
Ended as a casual talk as he stretches his arms to be pulled up. Offering herself to drive for them as she asks for the key and transfer to the driver side. “Hm. At least you still thought of driving for us. Better enough than nothing to compromise.” A cynical compensation he wanted to voice out,
“You’re mad. I’m sorry okay? What can I do? My reflexes made me do it instantly.”
“Yeah, like kicking my groin?”
By which became the cause of long argument during their ride. “Yah! That’s why I said sorry, so what still fumes your butt there?”
“Woman, I won’t be this upset if you at least slap me instead but kicking my groin?!”
“Groin, groin, groin. Aish! It’s just a groin for Pete’s sake!”
“J-Just. Just a groin? Did you just heard what you said, woman? This thing down here isn’t just a thing but a man’s life Sung Eunyoung!”
“Are we seriously fighting over a groin? Que mierda. And did you just shout at me?”
“You started it, and oh! No. I’m not!”
“Oh yes, obviously you are. So shut up.”
“Better.”
For it is. They end up not talking at all even until reaching her parents’ home as Jang Taeyoung just casually step out of the car without even glancing at her. “Yah! Jang Taeyou---“
“Emilio! Oh Thank god, you’re here.”
Cut off by her own mother who only pass by her way without greeting her even. “Emil- Emilio? Who?” Unbothered somehow for she was too looking by the unknown man she hasn’t met still. Craning her head to the possible way the person will appear in front of her “Who’s Emilio, mam---” only to get surprised by the person she least expected it to be.
“--- and how the hell did you become someone’s name Jang Taeyou---“
“Cierra esa boca tuya hija mía, unless you want to be plead guilty along us. Entiendes?”
To be cut off once again by the whispering command of her mother, sternly looking at her with warning. Shutting herself otherwise, following the order of her mother who is obviously serious after hearing its straight Spanish, a habit it usually does when on that manner. As she had no choice but to spare a glance instead of the striding away figure of Jang Taeyoung after her mom handed him a folder.
Eyeing her afterwards as she was towed by her mom to their garden, making her as helper on accepting the flowers her mom has to pick up. Oddly realizing that far across them was the sight of her parents’ homestead with her father and the man beside him, Jang Taeyoung assisting two more men probably consumers to deal with.
She was watching at them that she didn’t realize she stared long already if not for her foster mom to state it for her. “He might melt by now, honey.” Her mamá sweeping of some dirt by its apron, glanced at her. “What? No. I’m not.” For the old woman can only chuckle with her unusual behavior. “Okay, if you say so.” Teasing her in a way even. “I told you, I’m not.” For her to assert it the second time from sensing it as her mom to finally gesture a surrendering arms. “Okay, okay. I’m not talking.”
She who forfeits to her own daughter indeed as she also chooses to glance to where their homestead is. Opening a topic for her to know. “It was us who suggested to give him an identity as Emilio.”
“Pardon, mamá?”
She almost held her breath hearing that coming from her parent as her foster mother went to glance at her again. “To be honest, we have no idea what really happened to him before we met him the first time. It’s just too sudden, he was at our gates looking for you and then minutes later random people came after him tagging a police with them claiming he stole some of their goods.”
“He did what?”
Her mom giggled. “You heard it, honey. I can’t blame him he did look famished that time. So when the officer was about to arrest him for doing so, I had to instantly go in the middle and introduce him as my prodigal son and settle his problem with those guys.”
“You made him my brother?!”
She can’t help but to scream by the possible thought, good thing it wasn’t heard from the men on their homestead for they went inside its yard. “Lower your voice hija mía. Relax, will you?” as her mother needed hush her off sighing, she continued. “That wasn’t much the issue after all. It was when we let him stay here for a place to go home with and found out that he has a keen for business.”
“You even sheltered him here without me knowing? How was that mamá?” her feeling betrayed rebuttal different from how unaffectedly her mother shrugged its shoulder. “You haven’t visited us in a while, how would you know indeed.”
“Seriously, mamá?” for her dull face to come through as her mom can only chuckle by her expression. “I’m joking, alright. Tss. You’re too serious, mi hija.” Turning to watering the flowers, she further explains. “As I was saying, he has the keen for business. At first it was just him, humbly advising us about the farm since that time we had a hard time managing the farm. Until your father had enough of his own skill and offered him as the negotiator. But he declined, and that’s how we found out about him.”
“And what’s that you actually found about him?” she squinty asked, as her mother apparently reminding the moment. “Well, as far as I can remember he simply said he was once your business partner who went broke and eventually became no one. Then the rest is history, we need Zilo’s expertise to do fake identification card for him and there Emilio was born.”
“Even Zilo was involved? Just like that? Mamá, what if he wasn’t the person I know, huh? You know how dangerous it was to simply trust someone. I can’t take another moment for you and papa to be in danger ag---“
“But he wasn’t. Just by watching his eyes looking at your pictures on our family frame, I know he’s the one mi hija. I just know.”
She felt silent for a while, gazing the sight across them, with the said man coming out of her frame. “How would you know…” she blurted out. As the gentle smile from her mother came out as well, seeing her own beau next to Jang Taeyoung. Her husband, looking at her with the same kind she rendered.
“Because it has the same way your father looks at me.”
Letting her daughter know what she missed, “Even when he’s angry. I can tell mi hija.” Glancing at her daughter’s stoppered expression. “The same as you are right now.”
“What do you mean, mamá?” she had to asked, as her mom gives its soft response. “You might not come from my womb but I know you too well hija mia.”
Her mother strokes her hair just how fast its sheepish smile to come next. “Oh no, I know that look mother. Por favor.”
“Oh, come on honey. It’s not like you’re still minor to begin with? Besides, your papa and I are getting old already. So before we leave this earth, can you please decide faster and let us play with our grandchild at least?”
“Mamá!”
She can only scream her lungs out, facing the embarrassment after finally getting the attention of the men as the flushes from her face became flusters, leaving her no choice but to turn her back escaping from the questioning eyes around her, given the laughter her mother loudly announces which made it worse for her part as she walks inside their house instead.
“I can’t believe this is happening to me. Realmente, mamá.”
Ending her up of reprimanding her mother with her own soliloquy when she was changing on her comfortable clothes in her room. Jutting the idea in mind of conversation with Jang Taeyoung as soon as possible.
~
But it didn’t happen. For it seems Jang Taeyoung avoiding her presence the whole day. Up until now that the sun is nearing to set. Not being glanced even an inch for her attention when he’s in the middle of grilling some meat for a camping-like dinner her parents prepared for all of them.
“Yah, Jang Taeyoung. Let's talk.”
She had enough of his unusual behavior indeed yet just like earlier he treats her the same avoidance. “Yah, cábron. I’m talking to you here?” pushing another chance as she tries to catch his eyes, “I’ll do it, sir.” and still not taking the bait but instead, volunteering to do a bonfire which her father supposed to using the chop logs it brought on his arms. Giving a questioning look to the both of them before accepting the offer and say thanks then.
Tumblr media
“Misunderstandings?”
For her father to ask her instead. Watching the man’s back, sitting on a small wooden chair, resting its elbow to its knee as he settled his jaw on its knuckles, plastering a mug face doing his thing. Shaking the answer from her thoughts. “It’s nothing, papá.” She replied.
“Albeit, not. Come on, tell me. What did you do to make that young man angry, huh?” as her father didn’t take her reply even but nudging her to open up while doing Jang Taeyoung’s previous work, grilling.
Sighing, she gave in anyway. “I kind of… did something bad to him papá. But really, it’s a small thing to deal with. I apologized even. It was just him who wants to make it a big deal. Tss.”
She looks like a teen complaining to her parents about an annoying boy in school trying to piss her off. As the father is all ready to understand the complaints. “Uhuh… Okay I see. A small thing you already apologize. And what exactly that is, honey?”
Casually shrugging off, “Kicking his groin?” she answered. For right there, is a question after seeing the grimace response of her father. “Aw. Oh, definitely not a small thing to deal with, honey.” As he instantly corrected her.
“Really? Even you, papá? Come on, it’s just a gro---“
“Justifiably, it is. But scientifically it’s a man’s pride, honey. A man’s pride. Imagine he might actually think of the possibility by now having no capability of giving a little one anymore because of what you did.”
“Seriously? For Pete’s sake, it’s just once. Just onc- wait, what the hell. Where’s the overprotective papá I know?” she had to divert the topic for a second for she cannot believe what she is hearing from her father right now. Different from what she expected as the patriarch was only chuckling in front of her.
“Well honey, I have to agree with your mom this time. Because just like what she said, we’re not getting younger and I do want to see my grandchildren as well.”
Her father’s mumbles, “I told her so, she won’t listen. Poor us, mi marido.” With her mom, barging in as if to fill its remaining reason when in the middle of settling the plates as her father voluntarily play along acting saddened while doing a puppy response. “Is that so? Would you at least consider this time, honey?”
Her bulging eyes who cannot believe what she just witnessed in bewilderment as she strides tongue-tied away from them. Yet instead of stopping their teasing they still continue even as her parents’ chorusing chortles didn’t fail to slip for her to hear. “Talk gently, okay? Be flawless, just like you always do.”
To be advise by her father too as she can only cuss silently for herself from afar having nowhere to go but to face her dilemma. Standing next to the moody man she had to deal with. “I hate this. Yah! You really have no plans of talking to me the whole time, are you? Because if this is what you meant about staying cábron, then rather not---“
“I mean it.”
His cold demeanor that she instantly responded by an unconcerned mockery. “Oh, good to know your tongue still working, I see.” He could only groan. Slipping her unpleasant retort, next to a proceeding silence as she chose to sit beside him, watching the bonfire he busied doing as destruction.
Thus they’ve been like that for quite a while, not until it was his emanating sigh came to break it. “I’m sorry.” A sudden apology she never expected to hear. Shutting herself up, waiting for the words he wanted to utter more. And it did.
“I don’t know what upsets me even.” He started his first words. “Over a lame reason? D*mmit.” Next to cursing, just as she listened into. Harboring to the eyes that had also started its way through her souls. “Like what I’ve told you, I’m still learning too, Eunyoung.”
And it hit her. Staring at those dark orbs, conversing the sincerest piece for her to understand. For it was her to clear an invisible lump in her throat, diverting a topic worth saving her sanity as Jang Taeyoung never left off his eyes on her. “Now how should I counter that huh?” her whispering mumbles she urged to be unheard by him, fortunately it did as she brought back the original topic in mind, avoiding the gazing eyes he still possessed.
“Mamá, told me everything.” And there finally saying it after deciding to bravely face him this time, uttering her remaining phrase onto him. “Emilio. About you, being Emilio all this time.” He nodded. Understanding the subject.
“I see. Guess, I don’t have to explain myself then.” He queried. Then for him to see her rolling eyes. “Yeah, right. Good for you, Mr. Jang.”Her sarcastic response which easily reverberated by his chuckles. “Emilio, really? Among all the names they could possibly think of, even chose the closest to mine. Argh, parents.”
“Amilia. Right, indeed.” And just like that, the tension they once felt, brought into light as they came laughing in unison. Her half-moon smile he saw for the first time, and his beaming whiskers she never expected he flawlessly have.
“Whatever. As if we can change it anyway. So Mr. Emilio, I wonder how to address your last name though…”
As their flowing cockiness made its turn, bond just like that. The quirky smile that begins to play on Jang Taeyoung’s lips with the elegance of her extending hands. “Gustavo. Emilio Gustavo is my full name. It’s nice to finally meet you, Amilia Martin.”
The role-play they seemed to enjoy, as Jang Taeyoung accepts her hand with a kiss. The chortle she had to release, same as his as he stretches to put her in his arm with all smiles of their faces that never left since. Feeling each other’s warmth in solemnity.
“Oh!”
Just when she thought a kooky reminder in mind, slapping his chest too lightly, interrogated by her playful squints. “What?” he asked. “Tss. I’m still mad at you though. You, not telling me everything. I just hope Emilio will be the last of your many excuses Jang Taeyoung. If not--”
“If not, what?”
It was then she noticed his wincing expression as her amused accusation seemed confirming. “So you do have more on your deck you, cábron?” sternly insisting her complains. “Into just how many should I have to--- Aish. Yah, Jang Taeyoung.”
As her continuous hitting began to assault him madly. Blockings he had to endure, tending to start compromising his one last surprises. “Hey, hey. Relax will you?”
“Relax your foot, cábron.”
Hitting him for the nth time, for he can only give in another chortles. “Alright, alright. I’ll let you know now, okay.”
“You better be. Now, what?”
“Tss. Temper.” Hissing as he straightened well, he details. “You know how I am still considered as illegal immigrant now, right?” she nodded. “And?”
He hummed. “Pretty sure you know the rules of your country so to cut it short, I’ll have to marry you.”
“Oh! Of course you have to marry m--- What?! Pardon?”
Indeed. Sung Eunyoung wasn’t in the right mind for a while for she only realized a bit later what he actually meant about. Too late pull it back as his smirking grin welcomed her as response. “I’ll take that as a yes, then.”
“Wait, no way!”
Trying to defy as possible. “So what? You’re good of letting me marry to some random Spanish mia?”
“What? No!”
“Then marry me.”
“Yah!”
Defy as possible, yes. Into no sensible avail, as she can only further vent into silence. “I’m waiting, Sung Eunyoung.” He queried. Just how the sudden flusters which she had never seen on herself came naturally, reason to avoid his stares and clarify. “It’s not that I don’t want to.”
“Then what?”
“Yah, as far as I know, you were the one who has a Russian boss with two trusted men. A better connection you can ask for help. Sure enough, they have ways.”
“True enough, they have. If not me who’s long gone from the organization of the FORMER Russian boss, I had. And who? Two trusted men? Are you perhaps talking about Lee and Jae? Well, just to inform you mademoiselle. They too, long been recruited by the organization where I’m no longer part of. And don’t you dare advise even get their help for you definitely know my set of way is.”
Releasing a heavy breath upon finishing his profound reasons. “Now… Does it answer all your questions then?”
“But---“
“Ugh. For the love of God, just f*cking tell me if you’ll dump me or not so I can as well decide to go or stay. So which is whi---“
“Fine, fine!”
“Fine, what?”
Her, exhaling. “Fine, I’ll marry you…”
“Good.”
For the next thing she knew it was the urgency of his fervent kisses that made her gasp into sultry whimpers. Him, asking for entry as she slides her arms around his neck, overwhelmed by the taste of each other once again. She missed him. The same day he also missed her. Just a day,
And they were already missing each other. What more if they finally sealed the oath. A new habit they had to realize as soon as now. “cábron …” a chance of calling she needed to emphasize, as they pulled away from their kiss to get some air. “Yes, woman?” he answered her. Looking at her firm stares and heaving breaths she urges to buckle up.
“I just want you to know that you were the most unromantic troublemaker I know, Mr. Jang Taeyoung.”
The sniggers he came to release as he gets ready to answer the prim woman he’s soon to bound a promise. “Well, just so you know. You have a long way deal with this troublemaker pretty soon, mademoiselle.” Just then as he traces her misty lips by his thumb, next to the hoarseness of his inviting words.
“Besides. I’m no Jang Taeyoung if I wasn’t that kind of troublemaker you knew, am I?”
Her groggy laugh thus came in. “Indeed, you were.” she whispers, as she nuzzles the tip of their noses and leaning each other’s forehead. He’s closing his eyes, while hers remained open. For some reason she doesn’t want to let go of his face even with the possibility of fuzziness of her sight. She wanted to say something.
“I love you too, cábron.”
To confess her own feelings. That is as his shut eyes pops open, totally surprised by the sudden declaration she freed. “What? What did you just say?” because for the first time in a long time, the fearless man that he was is finally fondled by nervousness.
“I love you.” Making it louder for him to hear, gliding her thumb to rub circles to his jaw, stares that meant a thousand words. “I said I love you, Jang Taeyoung.” To declare a definite promise of a lifetime.
For the umpteenth time, it was another clashes of their lips confirming a finally unquestionable feeling that long been discarded by uncertainty. Uttering the very word suppressed into depths. I love yous without restrictions between smiles and smooches they can’t let go doing.
It was then when she ends up relying to the warmth of his embrace and tenderness of his advances. Oblivious by two audiences far behind them.

“Remembering something about the view mi marido?”
Her foster parents, standing by the porch of their home, reminiscing their own love-struck backstories. “Hm. Good old days. Good old days, mi esposa.” As the patriarch reaching his wife’s shoulder the same the new member of their family did to his daughter. For there they were, taking advantage of enjoying the once in a lifetime opportunity of their mia’s life.
“Oh… Oh Jesucristo! por favor.”
Not until the conventional swear of her mamá was heard together with the turns of laughter of her beau, embarrassingly baffled by the moment they are witnessing. “Tsk, tsk, tsk. Guess we’ll be having pretty silly grandchildren soon, honey.”Making her papá tease his wife who’s disbelieving eyes cannot leave her sight from the daring scene of two blooming lovers.
“Hey, what did you do?!”
Jang Taeyoung can only complain momentarily as the volatile woman in front of him ruffled his hair out of nowhere. His very hair, she knew he strictly prohibited of being messed up. But for some unknown reason, he wasn’t blatantly upset like he used to be when simply responded by her smirking silliness he instantly learns to worship. Giving the same sense as she did.
“I think I haven’t told you about this, but I like your curly hair down better than your brush up.”
Making his unexpected chuckle to come through. “Suddenly?” somehow getting curious next to receiving a quirky nod as answer. “Hm. But as much as I like it, is your wandering hands on my thigh not quite my liking Mr. Jang.” She warned.
For what her disguising action really meant was that as the novel demeanor of Sung Eunyoung he once knew came to reprimand his flirty ones to stop. “So?”but instead he took his advances into another level of kissing her neckline even. “In front when my parents are watching.”
But behind all her imposing words, is a stubborn man she cannot falter. “Jang…” even when herself is also responding by his sultry antics. He can only chuckle about it. “I doubt that… Because it seems you’re much contradicting your words instead, woman.” Pressing deeper into her, he further plays confidently. “You’re liking it too, admit it. Besides, we’re getting married anyway. Aren’t we?”
Just then his advances became more dangerous for her reputation that she had nothing but a slightest excuse she hopes he’ll bite at least. “Mamá’s catholic.” For there it is fast as how his questionable confusion made an end of his antics left by a frown.
“Conservatively speaking?”
She briskly clarified for It didn’t take a minute for her to understand his gazes. “Oh.”to miraculously answered by his rational self. His orbs that averts promptly onto the direction of her parents, covering a bow of apologizing disguise. He smiled at them who pulls out the same response as him.
“You would still my wife, right?”
His feared guess of possibility that quickly entrenched by her chortles, coyness ready for an incoming tease. “What a confidence you have mister when you haven’t got me a ring either.”
A wrong phrase to begin with, seeing his cocky demeanor slipping flawlessly on its aa way. A great start for turning tables. “Ah… Is that so?” letting her hear his first match next to an unexpected reaction she’ll witness solely for herself.
“Taeyoung…”
She had to build courage to call him before he does. She needed to, contrary by how unrestrained he was. “Will this explains everything then, mademoiselle?”
She was speechless, that is. She didn’t know his simple gesture of taking his hands on his pocket leads to a glistening silver necklace, with a ring on it for all she knows what it is. He kept it. The rings they once wore for their negotiating pretentions.
“H-how…”
Stutters she came to react to. “I—I did…---”
“Yes. You, apparently leaving it on my office without my presence.”
“But, I---“
“How can I when it’s you Sung Eunyoung. It is you.”
“Taeyoung…”
For except the growing silence after her calling, was his sincere beam that never left her sight. “I’ve been starting to hear my first name from you since we met again, but it was only today when I realize how good it was coming on your lips. One last time. Just one last time. Will you say that again for me, love?”
It was their eyes who initiated a conversation for them. A soundless exchange they can only understand. “Taeyoung.” She tends to his wish. “Beautiful.” In response of his loving glances.
“So… yes?”
A proper query of his hopeful aspiration. A tender look she begins to adore. “Yes.” for there she said it. “I do, Jang Taeyoung.” Finally holding a tale, she once envied. Anticipating a kiss from an eccentric prince ready to cast a spell from a curse long been buried.
Too close for happy ending, if not being interrupted by the approaching dinner pleas of her parents and each other’s growling stomach. That is. Giggles aiming its way on release. “Indeed. We are hungry.” him, indorsing the obvious.
Waiting for two chiefs of the household to partake as another set of their laughter came to merry.

Title: Eve
Main Cast: #SeoYeJi #YooSun #ParkByungEun
Episodes: 16
Man talk about a killer comeback from Seo Ye Ji, she totally nailed this role. This is an amazing revenge drama with so much going on. It's about a woman whose family was killed by another family for their company and her life turns into a show to destroy them. I mean I can't even say how great Ye Ji was, some of the scenes my jaw just dropped lol I was like holy crap, like when Han So Ra (Yoo Sun) finally figures out she is stealing her husband all hell starts breaking loose. Speaking of Yoo Sun, what an amazing actress who literally plays one of the most tragic characters in the entire show, like I get you are supposed to hate her but I just couldn't help but feel sorry for her, her life with with her father was so traumatic and shaped her as a person, to me it was just sad. Personally I can't find anything wrong with this drama, it's just that good. Highly recommended
