WAR BIRDS In Two Weeks, Other Stuff I’ve Done
Hello. I am incredibly lazy, which is why it’s taken this long to hype up my book coming out in a mere TWO WEEKS!
Tumblr media
WAR BIRDS, my graphic novel from Dark Horse Comics with Steve Parkhouse of Resident Alien fame, is out on 3/22/2023 in comic shops, and April Somethingth 2023 in bookshops. Which means if you order on Amazon, it will likely be in your hands in April, unless you buy it digitally from Amazomixology. I don’t know how any of this works anymore.
If you want to get it from your local comic shop, the Diamond code is NOV220478. Please get it from there, or from a locla independent bookstore, if you can. I won’t judge if you are unable to and have to rely on Amazon or another online retailer. It’s how it is nowadays.
If you’d like to see an extended preview of the book, Graphic Policy, a website I’ve liked for some time, has one for you.
In addition, Adventures In Poor Taste interviewed Steve and myself, so check that out if you want as well.
C2E2 is happening at the end of March, but I still don’t know what capacity I will be there, even tho it is my local big convention. That said, I will be at a much smaller and much closer convention on 4/15/2023, two days after my 50th birthday, at the Schaumburg Library Comic Con, held at the library I spent a lot of time at various branches of in my youth. Gene Ha will be there too.
Tumblr media
In the meantime, I’ve recently published two pieces at /Film. The first details 14 movies about the beautiful game that you should see. The second just went up last week, about comics you should read if you liked the Invincible TV show. I hope to do more there soon, as well as some other writing.
Sadly, I had more I wanted to do, but my time is short lately. I’ll try to get more up soon.
Thanks.
