Nvidia GTX vs. Nvidia RTX Differences

The functionality and architecture of GTX and RTX cards differ despite being released ten years apart. Nvidia GTX vs. Nvidia RTX Differences

Meer afval per inwoner in minst verstedelijkte gebieden

In niet-stedelijke gemeenten werd in 2021 606 kilogram afval per inwoner opgehaald, tegen 428 kilogram per inwoner in zeer stedelijke gemeenten Er werd vooral meer gft-afval per inwoner ingezameld in niet-stedelijke gemeenten. Dit meldt het CBS op basis van nieuwe cijfers over de gemeentelijke afvalinzameling.Nederlandse gemeenten hebben in 2021 8,8 miljard kilogram huishoudelijk afval ingezameld, 505 kilogram per inwoner. In niet-stedelijke gebieden wordt doorgaans meer afval opgehaald dan in stedelijke gebieden. Het gaat dan vooral om meer groente-, fruit- en tuinafval (gft) en grof tuinafval. In stedelijke gemeenten wordt gemiddeld meer huishoudelijk restafval opgehaald dan in minder stedelijke gemeenten. Dat komt deels doordat er minder gft-afval wordt ingezameld in gemeenten met veel hoogbouw. Ook wordt in stedelijke gebieden minder vaak afval aan de bron gescheiden, wat leidt tot relatief grotere hoeveelheden huishoudelijk restafval per inwoner. Vijf keer zoveel gft-afval in niet-stedelijke gemeenten In 2021 werd er gemiddeld 97 kilogram gft-afval per inwoner ingezameld. Vooral in niet-stedelijke gemeenten werd veel gft-afval opgehaald: 156 kilogram per inwoner. In zeer stedelijke gemeenten werd slechts 34 kilogram gft-afval per inwoner ingezameld. Omdat er in stedelijke gebieden relatief veel hoogbouw is, wordt gft-afval hier niet apart ingezameld, of slechts in bepaalde wijken. Meeste gft-afval in Meersen, minste in Amsterdam In 2021 zamelden 19 gemeenten meer dan 200 kilogram gft-afval per inwoner in. In Meerssen (283 kilogram), Westerveld (254 kilogram) en West Maas en Waal (228 kilogram) werd het meeste gft-afval per inwoner ingezameld. In Amsterdam werd slechts 1 kilogram gft-afval per inwoner opgehaald, en in Den Haag 13 kilogram.Gemeenten die in 2021 aanzienlijk meer gft-afval per inwoner inzamelden dan in 2020 zijn Borger-Odoorn (+33 kilogram), Sluis (+29 kilogram) en Tytsjerksteradiel (+29 kilogram). Gemeenten waarin per inwoner minder gft-afval werd ingezameld zijn onder meer Steenwijkerland (-20 kilogram), Ommen (-18 kilogram) en Leusden (-16 kilogram). Gemiddeld meeste huishoudelijk restafval per inwoner op Waddeneilanden De gemeenten met de grootste hoeveelheid ingezameld restafval per inwoner zijn Schiermonnikoog (785 kilogram), Vlieland (679 kilogram) en Texel (654 kilogram). Ook Den Haag (350 kilogram) en Rotterdam (332 kilogram) hebben relatief veel huishoudelijk restafval per inwoner. De gemeenten met de kleinste hoeveelheid ingezameld restafval per inwoner zijn Reusel-De Mierden (20 kilogram), Horst aan de Maas (36 kilogram) en Olst-Wijhe (45 kilogram). Vergeleken met 2020 zamelden vooral Schiermonnikoog (+37 kilogram), Edam-Volendam (+23 kilogram) en Heemstede (+20 kilogram) in 2021 meer huishoudelijk restafval per inwoner in. De gemeenten Sluis (-117 kilogram), Heiloo (-89 kilogram) en Goeree-Overflakkee (-73 kilogram) zamelden veel minder huishoudelijk restafval per inwoner in dan een jaar eerder. Minste papier ingezameld in grote steden In 2021 werd landelijk 48 kilogram papier per inwoner ingezameld. Het meeste papier werd ingezameld op de Waddeneilanden Schiermonnikoog (184 kilogram) en Vlieland (162 kilogram), en in Tubbergen (93 kilogram). In de grote steden werd in 2021 juist relatief weinig papier ingezameld: in Den Haag 19 kilogram per inwoner en in Amsterdam en Rotterdam 20 kilogram papier per inwoner. Meeste glas ingezameld op Waddeneilanden In 2021 werd gemiddeld 22 kilogram glas per inwoner ingezameld. Vooral in toeristische gebieden werd veel glas ingezameld. Nieuw jaar

Ik kijk terug naar een bewogen jaar, met heel veel positieve ervaringen, verdriet, gezelligheid en heel veel leermomenten, het was onstuimig.

Ik ben zo benieuwd wat dit jaar gaat brengen, ik bruis van ideeën voor de zaak maar wil ook meer rust voor mezelf , ik ga dat vrolijk uitvogelen hoe ik dit jaar dat anders ga doen.

Subconscious Shawl | July, 2020

A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with an eating disorder. The doctor didn’t specify which type, but I knew it was a restrictive one. The exact name doesn’t matter.

Treatment for ED is not very accessible where I live, but I am incredibly grateful for the diagnosis as it feels so validating. Finally, someone else—my family—understood that I was ill. That I might be in need of help. That I am in a battle.

I am not going to write too much about it because I am still in the midst of it, and everything is blurred. An experience this personal may never be translated into words, though it will certainly affect the way I think and the way I create. To tell the story, I will simply have to rely on my subconscious, similar to what I have been trying hard to do—to relearn how to eat, to listen to that one true voice in my head, to trust that my body is smarter than our society’s beauty standards.

I’d been staring at the screen for the longest time, trying to write a story for this shawl, but I could not find it in me. So I decided to name the shawl Subconscious, and let the yarn carry the memory for me.

If you google images for ‘subconscious’, you will understand my choice of colours: they remind me of shores, icebergs, and precipices—the sublime landscapes described by Edmund Burke: ‘vast, empty, often dark and apparently infinite’ (in the words of Alain de Botton in his book The Art of Travel). Though I do not think of eating disorder nobler than me and worthy of respect, there is this similar feeling of awe and weakness.

 Pattern

Ewe York by Susanne Sommer. This is my first paid pattern, and it was very clear. It’s nice to let someone else do the calculations every now and then!

Yarn

White: Tukuwool Fingering, 75% Finnish wool, 25% Texel (EDIT: I checked the yarn composition), 2-ply, #01 Sake. 293m (80g).

Grey: Tukuwool Fingering, 100% Finnish wool, 2-ply, #09 Raku. 312m (78g).

Blue: Malabrigo Sock 100% merino,4-ply, #Cian. 354m (88g).

Tukuwool review:

Pro: non-superwash and rustic. I literally had to keep picking straw out of the yarn. It smells sheep-y too. It feels like a hardy yarn that can last for many years.

Con: very scratchy, especially in the knitting process. I tried wrapping it around my neck for a minute, and my neck felt itchy for an entire afternoon. It fluffed and softened a little after blocking, so I can only hope that it continues to soften.

I’d say that Tukuwool Fingering is an excellent choice for an outer garment, but I wouldn’t use on any next-to-skin garments.

Malabrigo review:

Pro: the yarn is so soft and smooth! It’s drapey but also springy, and it shapes very well. The colour is breathtaking—I can sit there for hours and just stare at it. Malabrigo produces superwash yarns responsibly so that is a plus too.

Con: just like any pure merino, it is likely to pill easily. The colour bled so much—I pre-washed and rinsed it for a few times before using the yarn, but the second I put the shawl into the basin, the blue started bleeding again and the dye kept seeping out throughout the rinses. It gave my white yarn a hint of sky blue. I will have to remember not to pair the shawl with any light-coloured clothes.

Modification

I followed the pattern exactly, though I did briefly consider adding a few rows to Section 1 as I was aiming for a large shawl. The edging is actually quite wide and the finished shawl ends up the perfect size.

Finished Measurements

160cm in width, 80cm in length. Brioche is very stretchy though, and it wraps around my shoulders very comfortably and definitely feels wider than 160cm. Or maybe it’s just that I have a tiny frame…

Wear and Tear

After washing and blocking, the Tukuwool yarn became a bit softer. However, it is still scratchy to some degree!

The Malabrigo sock yarn is holding up fine at the moment, but it continues bleeding as soon as it comes into contact with some water.

Further Considerations

I’m still not sure about pairing a rustic wool with a luxurious one—it looks fine now, but we’ll have to wait and see. I would love to try something in-between for decorative pieces, such as Eden Cottage Yarn Milburn 4-ply.

The i-cord binding is a bit too tight whilst the garter edge is a bit too loose, and you can see that especially from the bottom tip of the shawl. I underestimated my gauge for garter stitch—next time I would definitely knit tighter.

THE SITGES 2020 FilmFest ‘COVID19 IN REALISM’ REVIEW & REPORT, VOL. I by Lucas Avram Cavazos

How does one even begin to describe Europe's famed and favourite horror & fantasy film festival during a time when the very nature of a pandemic is like a theme for one of the films being screened? The dark irony was certainly not lost on me over the last two weeks, and as I traversed quieter Sitges streets this year, there was a sense of longing mixed with trepidation and goodwill that could best be summed up as everyone doing all they could do in order to muster and try to still have a-ahem- killer good time. Gone were the copious amounts of vendors and 'frikis' selling wares, gone was the lauded Zombie Walk, and gone were the annoyingly long lines and chipped shoulders as reality did its job. That job, for me any way, this year was to make a few decent contacts (score!), interview actress and Sitges Queen MC Melina Matthews (done...watch that fab interview here: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=824908928247997 ) and screen a helluva lot of movies (20 and counting so far...thank you Online Vampire Press Pass 2020 AND Five Eye countries' pre-releases already screening!) As it stands, the cinema industry is reeling from its worst economic and setback labor annum in its history. Undoubtedly, film distributors and companies are, at best, besotted by that gnawing, iffy feeling that things may remain stagnant. Release dates are on hold and cinemas have been mostly closed for months and perhaps more to come.

The films to be reviewed here would normally be scheduled for release between their premiere at Sitges Film Fest and the new year but with the aforementioned industry stagnancy, it's most likely that many are destined for a later release date or, even more likely yet, a release on streaming sites that have taken over the entertainment world over the past half decade. On with the movies! 

2020′s Best Film winner Possessor Uncut marked Brandon Cronenberg's (yes, his daddy is David Cronenberg, so go figure) triumphant return to Sitges FF after winning the Noves Visions award eight years ago. I personally felt a wee bit underwhelmed with the sci-fi/ horror genre mix's rich take on elite assassins and a future where probes and dials may actually control our emotional wellbeing. You see, 'possessors' are assassins who have their consciousness implanted into others and then thereby are programmed to carry out whatever hits or rub-outs are needed. The film starts with a bloody bang and it cannot be understated that the intensity of the action sequences, the studious eye of Cronenberg (like his poppa) and the visuals he lays out for us are top notch and are a testament that filmmaking runs deep in his roots. Sure to find rapid international distribution, I was none too surprised by the film's win...nepotism has its favours after all! #### A Perfect Enemy (Cosmetica del Enemigo) is an oddly intense, wannabe mind-fuck of a film and the well-played annoyance of main actress Athena Strates takes centre stage, even despite a collective audience desire to slap the ish out of her. Or was that just me? Like any post-drunken, young, cute floozy of a girl, her character Texel Textor aids in the missing of not only her own flight but that of the unsuspecting architect shmuck Jeremiasz Angust (how apropos his surname is), who picks her up on the way to the Tokyo airport, one of his own designs. What ensues is a forced conversation that ends up delving into a story that must be followed to be believed. Based upon the novel 'Cosmetique de l'ennemi' by Amelie Nothomb, this latest work by Spanish director Kike Maillo is gripping and tense if a tad fastidious. ###-1/2 Mandibules skirts the genre of fantasy/comedy so well that when the film's main co-actors Gregoire Ludig and David Marsais won Best Actor(s) at this year's Sitges Festival Palmares ceremony, I was not surprised and immediately started laughing and clapping, because they stole the bloody show. Mandibules tells the story of two losers out to finish a heist so as to come into some much needed money, but what these two eerily engaging twits embroil themselves into is an absurdist fest. Stealing a car after a busted trial and error move, they discover that a huge, nearly meter long fly is stashed and thirsty in the boot of the stolen Mercedes! They end up foiling plans, destroying property and plotting a course that eventually leads to a bit of money and a lot of hilarious hijinks drama along the way! ###-1/2 There have been so many screenings done from the comfort of my own home so when I got to screen the new instalment sequel to Train to Busan, I was stoked. Not only was that original piece one of the finest celluloid tellings of zombie horror, but it breathed a wave of fresh eyes onto South Korean cinema. This new film is called Peninsula, and that's where they should have left it. Having seemingly little to do with the emotional original, this piece of experimental non-originality follows the aftermath  four years after the intense zombie apocalypse and takes place over in Hong Kong now. A guy ( a tad funny to be sure) named Jung-Seok joins a mission to return to a quarantined peninsula to salvage $20 million dollars left in a deserted food truck. What befalls is, you guessed it, another zombie attack followed by an ambush, resulting in another bloodbath but for what? I honestly don't see why, though... There is a joining of forces with a rag-tag team of ambush zombie assassins that plays some relief for Jung, but the lack of real human condition story, the addition of guilt actions mixed with dark humour and gore should be enough to placate the hungriest of pandemic-stricken horror lovers...but it’s not. Alas, for me, this was a Sitges FF letdown though the film is racking up the bucks in open cinemas worldwide. ##-1/2

 Jopen Lentebier is geen standaard lentebock of maibock. In dit frisse lente bier zitten veel fruitige hoparoma’s en heeft het door de korianderzaad de nodige lente-achtige frisheid. Het lente bier is een lekkere, smaakvolle doordrinker. Door de 7% alcohol wat in het biertje zit moet je daar toch een beetje mee oppassen, als je de rest van de lijst ook nog wilt meemaken. Het biertje valt onder de categorie blond en krachtig en heeft de stijl van een Belgian Ale.  Het tweede biertje van de lijst is het Texels Springtij. Texels Springtij is een krachtig blond bier, wat je een echt gevoel van lente geeft. Dit lente bier heeft iets bloemigs, en ook een erg fruitig karakter. Je ziet als het ware de lammetjes dartelen door de Texelse weiden. In 2015 heeft dit bier de gouden plak behaald bij de Dutch Beer Challenge, dat is natuurlijk niet voor niets. Dit lente bier valt onder de categorie amber en elegant, en heeft de stijl van een Maibock. Texels Springtij pas heel goed bij een salade, kip en gevogelte, witvis, vleesgerechten en bij jonge en romige kazen. Ook dit biertje smaakt het best bij een temperatuur van 7 graden Celsius.   Bax Bier Rokkenjager

 Misschien een iets minder bekende, maar toch ook een heel lekker lente bier: de Rokkenjager van Bax Bier. Bij Bax Bier houden ze wel van een beetje humor. Als je de naam leest denk je toch gelijk aan de lente, de rokjesdag, de dag dat de dames voor het eerst van het jaar de benen blootstellen aan de eerste zonnestralen. De brouwers zelf geven aan daarom maar wat graag op het terras te zitten om naar dit ‘natuurfenomeen’ (zo noemen ze het zelf) te kijken. Daarom zeggen ze: dit bier is voor de natuurliefhebbers. Het bier heeft een alcoholpercentage van 6,5% en het valt onder de categorie amber en elegant. De stijl van het bier is een Helles Bock. Dit bier is goed te combineren met salades, kip en gevogelte, witvis en met jonge en romige kazen. De perfecte temperatuur van het lente bier is iets kouder dan de andere bieren, de drinktemperatuur voor de Rokkenjager ligt namelijk rond de 6 graden Celsius. Practice 1: Development Project 2 - Stylized Tank - Development Process

This post will go over the development process of this asset, I will create of an overview of how I went about each part and any problems I came across along the way.

- Modelling -

The modelling process for this asset was rather simple. The object doesn’t contain any abstract shapes and in the most part is made up of simple pieces. However, in order to set this object up for sculpting I had to ensure the topology was subdivisable, before exporting to Zbrush.

- Sculpting -

After importing the base mesh into Zbrush, I used the crease tool to select the hard edges, Subdivided the model and then Dynameshed the object, giving a solid foundation with dense geometry, perfect for sculpting.

To sculpt the model I used a similar workflow as in Blender, with a few different tools. Starting with the Trim Dynamic brush to carve out the edges, and then using a mixture of the Flatten and Orb Flatten brush to sharpen the edges. This is something I was struggling to perfect inside Blender, however it seemed to be much easier in Zbrush.

To break up the large blank spaces on the flat panels of the tank I used the Orb Hammered brush to create the dented effect, following up with the flatten brush to dial it in where necessary.

Finally, adding small details with the metal damaged alphas, as well as the welding brushes.

I used this sculpting workflow on the entire asset, creating a great result:

- UV Mapping -

After finishing the low-poly version of the asset (coming in just under 45K) I used the same Unwrapping techniques as previously mentioned, creating 3 individual UV maps

Using UV Packmaster 2 once again to achieve a well packed result.

Dandim Hadiri Festival Domba Sakub

Brebes - Pemerintah Kabupaten Brebes punya cara tersendiri untuk menggaet peternak milenial yakni dengan menggelar Festival Domba Sakub (FDS). Mayoritas para peserta masih berusia muda bahkan festival ini juga mendapat perhatian Ketua Forum Komunikasi Putra Putri Purnawirawan dan Putri Putri TNI Polri (FKPPI Jateng Hendar Prihardi dan Dekan Fakultas Peternakan UGM Prof I Gede Suparta Budisatria,.

FDS yang digelar di Lapangan Desa Pandansari, Kaligua, Kecamatan Paguyangan Brebes itu, dibuka Bupati Brebes Hj Idza Priyanti SE MH yang di damping oleh Dandim Brebes Letkol Armed Mohamad Haikal Sofyan, Minggu (24/10).

Dandim menaruh apresiasi besar kepada peserta karena antusiasnya sangat tinggi, yang diharapkan bisa meningkatkan minat peternak, khususnya peternak milenial.

Idza Mengakatan, Domba merupakan ternak populer yang dibudidayakan di Kabupaten Brebes. Populasinyasi pada akhir 2020 mencapai 168.20 ekor. Populasi terendah berada di Kecamatan Songgom sebanyak 2.238 ekor dan tertinggi di Paguyangan sebanyak 18.935 ekor.

“Saya berharap, Domba di Kabupaten Brebes bisa berkembang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan daging yang bisa menciptakan ketahanan pangan. Juga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kulit dan bulu Domba. Dan yang tak kalah penting, domba Brebes memiliki ciri khas tersendiri dengan nama Domba Sakub,” ujar Idza.

Kepala Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan drh Ismu Subroto menjelaskan, ada berbagai jenis domba di kabupaten antara lain Domba Ekor Tipis, Domba Ekor Gemur, Domba Dorper, Domba Merino, Domba Texel, Domba Garut dan Domba Sakub.

Domba Sakub merupakan Domba khas Kabupaten Brebes yang berkembang di sekitar Lereng Gunung Slamet. Domba Sakub penghasil daging dengan bobot badan jantan mencapai 70-90 kilogram dan betina 40-60 kilogram. Kotorannya juga bisa untuk pupuk organik, bulunya dijadikan keranan tangan.

“Populasi Domba Sakub di Brebes mencapai 16.484 ekor yang tersebar di Paguyangan, Sirampog, Bumiayu dan Tonjong,” ungkap Ismu.

Ismu menjelaskan, Festival ini akan digelar setiap tahun untuk menggali potensi ternak lokal agar bisa ditetapkan sebagai rumpun baru ternak unggul asli Kabupaten Brebes. Di samping itu untuk meningkatkan minat masyarakat beternak domba khususnya kaum milenial.

Festival juga dihadiri Dekan Fakultas Peternakan UGM Prof I Gede Suparta Budisatria, Wali Kota Semarang Hendrar Prihardi, Pengawas Bibit Ternak Madya dari Kementerian Pertanian Yude Maulana Yusuf, Ketua Dekranasda Brebes AKBP Dr H Warsidin MH, para Kepala OPD dan pejabat lainnya.
