As a female athlete, in a fairly toxic world and environment, I think I would have a harder time with that [putting her child into competitive figure skating]. But my caveat would be that I would love for Scott [Moir] to be coaching a future child of mine because I hear the passion and commitment to changing that culture. And when the intent is truly to empower kids and equip them with these skillsets to not just tackle challenges on the ice but rather transfer those skills off of the ice. I would absolutely encourage that, for sure, but specifically at Scott’s skating school.
