Where reader was listening to heartsteel kayns playing the guitar and she gets dreamy , he teases her and offer up to teach her how to play the guitar. He could also drag her close to his lap for close-up demonstration. Reader is very aware of his heartbeat and stuff and kayn could tease more!

It was a nice cool evening, the two of you just had dinner and you were lazing on his bed. Kayn was feeling like rocking out so he set up his electric guitar and was having a hell of a time just a few meters from you. You lean against the headboard, watching him from the bed. It was beautiful. Without a doubt. The soft expression on his face as he hums and strums, the way his fingers glide over the strings, the way his arm muscles tense as he presses down on the frets. You were in love, and if you weren't, just seeing him like this playing the guitar for you would have your heart stolen anyway. For someone so chaotic, he was almost angelically graceful when he gets so in the zone playing the guitar. It was so unlike his usual stage self like this. Playing a different tune from the usual genre you were used to hearing from him. Kayn calmly vibing instead of his chaotic high. It was Kayn playing this time, not the Rhaast you were used to seeing on stage.

His brows furrowed in concentration as his hands work away on the instrument. The way he seems so...at peace when he's playing the instrument. The beautiful melody and steady tapping of his feet just further draws you in. You can't help it, you really can't stop yourself from staring. He was beautiful like this. The way sweat slowly drips down his face. The small step he takes back as he balances himself when he really gets into it. No wonder he had so many fans. If you weren't so distracted you would have grabbed your charging phone and tried to sneak in a few photos. Smiling to yourself, you watched him intently, doing your best to commit this to your memory when his voice snapped you out of your daydream.

" Starstruck my love?"

He gives you a smug smile as he puts the guitar down by his desk and walks over to you. You wave off his comment and tell him how much you loved watching him play. It wasn't that you were starstruck, it was just that you loved him and he had his charms. Especially over you. Especially when he looked so cool...

" Do you want to try playing something? I could teach you. I'm generous that way."

He bends over the edge of the bed, giving you a chaste kiss before smirking again. Hands behind his head as he looks at you.

"A private lesson from the Amazing Kayn of Heartsteel is something most fans would die for you know~"

You wanted to scoff and reject him but honestly, it was a nice way to understand him better. A pleasant excuse to get closer, share a new hobby, how could you say no. So of course you agree.

Excitedly, he grabs you and pulls you over to his chair by his desk. Sitting down, Kayn pats his lap, signaling you to join him. You raise a brow but his arms are already snaking around your waist, pulling you down. He adjusts some things on the sleek guitar before placing it comfortably on your lap. Your heart races as his arms wrap around you to hold the instrument. Sure he was just holding the guitar in place but you could feel his breath on your neck, his strong chest against your back, the small twitch in his leg as you adjust yourself, the rhythming thumping of his own heart. Ok, you were going to try and commit this feeling to memory too.

" Hmm...let's start with something simple. We'll get you used to like, some easy strumming pattern or something first. Easier stuff."

Kayn's fingers ghost over yours, gently moving your fingers into place, lightly pressing them down onto the frets for you. His other hand passing you his guitar pick as he gently holds your wrist. He leans his chin on your shoulder as he helps you move your hand. A shiver running down your spine as you feel his warmth slowly spread across your body from the close proximity. Kayn's hand begins to move, rhythming a slow down down up down beat. A simple beat that you've heard in other pop songs before. It was nice to listen to, Kayn already humming a little tune before he stops to speak.

" Wow you're doing good~ "

You almost yelp as his deep voice whispers into your ears. Way to close than you were used to. The way his breath hit the edge of your ears just send an almost instant blush across your features. He notices you jump a little, another playful smirk now plastered across his face as he sees you turn red.

" Oh? Feeling more than the music darling?"

Another accursed deep sultry whisper into your ears. Kayn leaning in closer to give the edge of your ears a teasing lick before you turn to glare at him flustered.

" Sorry can't help it, you were too cute all blushy like that in my lap."

He almost purrs into your ears, you can feel the deep rumble of his voice against your body in the closeness. Ah, what did you get yourself into by agreeing to this. You close your eyes and sigh as he lightly presses a kiss against your neck.

Sure babes, @lu-inlondon, I'll do it :D I just have to figure out what I've been watching recently.

Three Ships Korrasami, Catadora and Lovesquare (Ladynoir). (Figure that odd one out lol)

2. First ever ship. My childhood memories are so weird. But I'm pretty sure it was Taichi and Sora from Digimon Adventure. Pretty sure they broke off too lol. I don't know why I wanted them to work out either.

3. Last song Boyfriend - Dove Cameron .... We're moving on!

4. Last Movie Due to how much I glue my eyes to my laptop screen. The last movie I watched was Puss in Boots the last wish. It's a really good movie. They actually had villains in them

5. Current reading Next Question. Well it's pretty nsfw. An unfortunate side effect of booktok. Twisted Love by Ana Huang

6. Currently watching I'm currently watching an anime called 'Campfire cooking in another world with my absurd skill' Had a bunch of laughs just watching the characters fumble around. Also idk, I like watching people cook. Even if it's animated. It's the only asmr videos I will gladly watch.

7. Currently consuming Had to walk to the fridge since I'm keeping it cold but it's traditional Soda Lemon lime and bitters. Has an extra kick to it and also real sour~ (I like to suck lemons so um... it's good)

8. Currently craving Violence. I want to stab into a piece of leather and just shape it how I want. I'm binding a book. So uh... yea!

himeru's voice trails off, his gaze flickering from the papers on the table over to you. you'd been quiet lately, your little mhms and uh-huhs and tap-tap-taps of your pen growing more and more infrequent as time wore on. he catches your gaze for just a second—soft and fond and... dare he say lovesick?—before you blink once, twice, and the spell is broken.

"you seem distracted," he notes. "should we maybe take a break?"

you catch his gaze again, a soft smile on your face, and reach out your hand to brush a stray strand of hair away from his eyes. and, before himeru can process the warmth in his ears or the odd fluttering in his chest, you lean forward—until he can feel your breath, light on his cheek, and then your lips, light against his own.

as his initial surprise wears off, he feels his lips tugging into a smile, soft and fond and lovesick. he glances over at you and cups your jaw with his hand, an odd little sparkle in his eye. "hmm, himeru supposes that this should suffice as a break," he says. "though there should also be no issues with extending just a little..."

" You were amazing on stage Kayn what the hell!"

He rolls his eyes, accepting the compliment yet, not, at the same time. The trembling on stage having lessened up, heart still racing but his hands no longer shaking. This is good. This means it Was just a performance high. He lets out a low chuckle as he pulls off his eyepatch to get a better look at you.

" I'm always amazing what are you talking about?"

Kayn teases you back. His lips curl into a smug smile. Pride obviously etched onto his features. You both know how hard he's worked to end up here. All those late night practices (that kept you up at night), all the times he’s asked you for a review out of nowhere, all those instances where he sat by you on the couch ranting about his bandmates. He worked hard to make this first performance happen.

" You say that, but this is your like, first concert ever. Loser." " Fuck you!"

He laughs. A strange warmth in his eyes you don't recognize. Kayn feels his body heat up as he speaks to you, something about the playful banter that makes him feel so close to you. God, his heart begun to race again. The damned feelings he had from the stage. Was it always this way then? No this was just post concert adrenaline. Yes! It's just concert hype. He would will away his feelings, he wasn’t delusional, it was just self preservation.

It's not you it's him. It's not you. It can't be you. Cos if it's you...what will he do. Of all people why you. He can’t bear to risk what the two of you already had. You were the only person in his life now that he doesn’t hate. Hell, he lives WITH you, if he catches feelings literally everything in his life would have to change.

“ I’ll see you back at home.”

Kayn suddenly says that, a confused look on his face as he slings his guitar behind him and scurries off. You wave goodbye, watching him run off back to his band, he feels an almost visceral need to get away from you, not because he hates you, no. Because he just realized, he might be in love with you.

Kayn isn’t sure if he should be laughing or crying. Here he is, standing outside your club room at what, 5pm in the evening? Guitar strapped behind his back and a little gift in his hands. Ok, so he had liked you for a while now, so what, nothing wrong with love. Love was badass. So he decided to do something about those irritating feelings and bought you chocolates. So what! So, he decided it was just not hardcore enough, and went to melt and make his own fucking valentine’s chocolates for you. So What!

Maybe he baked cookies too huh? Is that so bad! Is it so bad that he got Akali to lend him some fancy stationery to write you some shitty fucking love letter! Its hardcore, its over the top! It’s how The Shieda Kayn should confess. Nothing subpar, none of that weak, half-assed work. Only the best. You only deserve everything and then some. You deserve the handmade chocolates. You deserve the expensive store bought ones he got too. You deserve that nicely wrapped box with the fancy hand cut crinkle paper in the pretty gift bag. You deserve the handmade cookies that he painstakingly made in your favorite flavor, with the cute icing of Rhaast and the matching handmade sprinkles (that Zed so kindly helped him with). You deserve the effort he took, the countless nights of planning to write down a very well written rap (confessional love poem) for you. You deserve the scented paper (his cologne) and the cool stickers on the envelope (its holographic hearts).

You deserve someone better than him.

He winces as he accidentally bit his lip too hard. Suddenly brought back to the reality of how long he has spent standing by this door. Another click of his tongue, he continues irritatingly tapping his foot while he reconsiders all he’s about to do. Was it creepy? Waiting for you after club activities? What? People should call it romantic right? It…it Was romantic…right? Waiting an extra hour or two after his own extra classes for Your own club activities to finish? I mean, he worked hard growing the balls to ask you to wait for him after school. You said yes earlier too! This is not creepy, this is just him living up to promises he made with you. This is. Normal. Yeah. Totally normal. Romance will die when he lets it. Kayn swallows hard, hand gripping tighter to the ribbon handles of the beautiful gift bag he spent his allowance on. The contents on the bag feeling heavier and heavier by the minute.

Knocking the door with his other hand, Kayn slowly peers into the club room. Slowly opening the door, he enters silently. The sickly blinding white fluorescent room lights mixing with the oranges of the late afternoon sun streaming in from the open windows. Kayn looks around, catching sight of you standing by the closet in the corner of the room packing up whatever it was that you did after school.

" Hey. I’m here like I said." " Kayn!"

He watches as you jump, fumbling as you try to hide whatever it is that was in the closet. Raising an eyebrow, he stands there, giving you an awkward smile as his eyes narrow to discern just what it is you were hiding from him.

“ Oh? Oh~ What is that huh?”

Kayn teases you, hiding his own gift behind his back as he walks over, trying to peer in and see what you’re so desperately hiding from him. As you look back at him with feigned irritation on your face, some quick maneuvers later you managed to hide whatever it is on the shelf behind your back.

“ You first. What’s that huh?”

As you ask him the question, a slow red blush creeps up his cheeks. Slowly you lean over to him, trying to see what is it that he’s holding behind His back. It can’t be right. No way life would treat someone like him this well. No way, no way. You were too close way too close. He swallows hard, leaning back to try and hide what he can behind his guitar case while also leaning away from you. So close to him that he could feel not only your presence in his personal space but the delectable warmth radiating off your skin. As your eyes meet his with that mischievous glint, he freezes. Stunned by both your beauty and the sudden realization that he should get this done and over with before he backs out. A shakily smug smile creeps onto his face as he tries his best to tamp down his anxiety with his Kayn branded cockiness. Was this something everyone went through? Were first loves and confessions this bad for everybody? God, he could feel his palms sweating again. Kayn coughs lightly to clear his throat before proudly thrusting the fancy bag in your face.

“ I…worked really hard on a little something for you. I hope you like it.”

Barely audible, Kayn whispers as he looks away shy. Contrary to his earlier actions, he gently lowers his hands and places the gift into your embrace. His eyes dart around the room, not able to meet your gaze, Kayn seemingly shrinks away from you with the realization of his past few days worth of effort all hitting him at once. The Valentine’s day gift was literally out of his hands now. A breathy laugh escapes him before he finally finds the meager courage to look at you again. And of course, he was instantly awestruck. How could he not be with you. Looking back at him with that tender look, the way your own lips slowly curl into a smile, the sparkle in your eyes as you look from him to the gift in your hands back at him.

“ Kayn…”

” No. Don’t say anything, just…go read the thing when you’re home alone. I don’t wanna hear it! I’m going!”

As he turns to leave, you quickly grab his arm, pulling him back with a quick jerk. Eyes closed, you press your lips against his. Kayn’s own eyes go wide as he looks, unblinking, back at you in shock. He was now suddenly very, very aware of what it felt like when people talked about time feeling like it's stopping.

“ And this is for you.”

You quickly return a similarly lovingly wrapped box into his hands. Kayn frozen in place, his heart working in overdrive, thumping so loudly he was sure he would get a heart attack right here right now. His face such a bright red that the blush reaches up to his ears and also spread down his chest. You could see it peaking through his unbuttoned collar when your gaze trailed down. Before his brain could even begin to regain function you quickly wave to him, scrambling to pick up your bag you run off. Leaving Kayn flustered and alone in the empty classroom as the sun begins to set. You too had to leave his presence before the embarrassment of what went down caught up to you too.

There would be a lot for you guys to talk about tomorrow at school.
