I just got We <3 Katamari Reroll on the Switch, and I’m loving it, except for one single extremely minor thing that is also the most major thing possible.

They changed the sound effect for picking up objects. It’s like. One octave lower or something, and it’s driving me fucking bonkers.

It’s exactly identical, except for this one thing, and it’s just. Incredibly grating. I’m getting used to it, but it’s such a weird change, lol

mystery solved: in order to unlock eternal mode for a level in we love katamari reroll, you have to complete the other versions of that level first, and it's only certain levels. (so far I've got elephant and bird which is labeled as endless 3, I haven't finished going through them all.)
