Chain of Influence from Alexa Chung's IT: Heathers and Beetlejuice
Alexa Chung was a British TV host, model, and the IT girl of the 2010s. Ballet flats, hot pants, cashmere cardigans, and statement sunglasses made Alexa a fashion icon. During a time when skinny jeans, neon accessories, and flower crowns were a thing, Alexa stood out with ahead-of-her-time style choices. She definitely was one of the first well-known women that I sourced my inspiration from.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"IT"
In 2013, Alexa released her debut book IT, featuring her drawings, style influences, witty advice, and stories. This perfectly pink, cultural reset of a book, catered to young, aspiring "It" girls and wannabe Vogue Editors. Despite receiving critiques akin to a "wasted opportunity," IT marked the sweet beginning of character development for my 13-year-old self. The book led me on a transformative journey, unveiling my taste in music, film, and fashion - a chain of influence, if you will.Alexa wrote a lot about the most iconic film fashion that inspired her throughout the years.
Tumblr media
HEATHERS (1988)
One of the films that started my endless love for cinema and marked the chain of influence, was Heathers (1988) - directed by Michael Lehmann and written by Daniel Waters. A satirical and macabre cult classic about a high school, where obnoxious jocks rule and the mean girls are all called Heather - until Veronica (Winona Ryder) and her mysterious boyfriend (Christian Slater) decide to kill every mean kid at the school. Pair a cinematic legend (our girl Wino) with a sexy hunk that is Christian Slater, and you have yourself an 80s classic. Watching this film when you’re 14 years old, in your secret world (my room) on a mini laptop was a transformative experience. In a sense that, in that moment, I fully understood the magic that cinema held and I wanted more. My eyes could not get enough of the cinematography, the costumes and the beautiful young actors - all while the haunting Syd Straw’s voice sang Que Sera, Sera (strongly advisable to put this song on while reading this post).
Tumblr media
The film itself tells a classic tale of relational agression between high school girls. In the words of Lyn Mikel Brown or her book of the same name - girlfighting. In the book Girlfighting (2003), the author argues that for quite some time, soap-operas, films, and reality TV had only focused on women who are in competition with one another. Heathers falls right into that category. Its main focus is Veronica Sawyer (Winona Ryder) - one of the Heathers clique, who finally gets tired of being an accomplice to other school kids’ misery. Her character has a line in the film where she says: “I don’t really like my friends. It is like they are people I work with and our job is being popular”. It is the moment where Veronica foreshadows her involvement in the downfall of her mean friends. This twist is kind of ironic as Veronica is such good of a person that she cannot stand the meanness of her friends. Thus, she will become mean herself and even turn to murder, in order to end the meanness altogether.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
COSTUMES
Iconic, voluminous hair, fitted checkered jackets with shoulder pads, mid-length grandma skirts, colourful stockings and none other than bitchy attitudes! Every shot of Heathers is filled with endless outfit inspiration, curated by Rudy Dillon. Oh, how fun would it have been to dress like that in high school. I love how this kind of fashion evokes a nostalgic longing for a time before I was even born. From then on out, you would not see me leave a vintage clothing store without an 80's padded jacket.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It would be very easy to guess who I was planning to dress as on Halloween 2014. I put my grey skirt on, borrowed my grandpa’s ashy blue t-shirt, covered my face in fake blood and bought a paper cigar from Tiger. It was magical. I walked around saying “What’s your damage, Heather?” - sadly, no one understood the reference back then and I ended up really scaring my mum. I might have been better at Maths, had I not been rewatching Heathers every other evening. However, no regrets. 2 + 2 is still 4, forever till the end of time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Beetlejuice (1988)
The chain of influence from Alexa’s book continued naturally when I decided to explore Winona’s earlier work. The first one that came to mind was Winona’s breakthrough film 'Beetlejuice' (1988) - an absolute Halloween must-watch. Crafted by the extravagantly distinctive auteur director Tim Burton, renowned for the gothic and fantastical settings in his films. The contrast-heavy cinematography in Burton’s mise-en-scène is influenced by German Expressionism, an art movement that emerged in Germany in the early 20th century. The most predominant aspects of this movement include distorted sets, angular or weirdly-shaped architecture, and a dark, frightening atmosphere.
The film tells the story of a recently deceased couple, portrayed by Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin, who find themselves haunting their home after a new family moves in. In an attempt to scare away the living occupants, the couple summons a mischievous spirit named Betelgeuse (Michael Keaton) by saying his name three times. The narrative takes an intriguing turn with the introduction of Winona Ryder's character, Lydia, who, along with her parents (Catherine O’Hara and Jeffrey Jones), becomes entangled with the supernatural world. Winona Ryder delivers a captivating performance as Lydia, portraying a goth teenage girl who can see the dead because she has no fear of dying.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
CINEMATOGRAPHY
Cinematographer Thomas E. Ackerman fully realised Burton’s ominous vision for the film. Every single shot is like a surrealist painting - a true feast for the eyes. Even if one does not find the film’s plot appealing, the visual aesthetic will still definitely satisfy one’s artistic hunger. Ackerman's attention to detail and use of lighting contribute to the film's haunting atmosphere, making it a visual masterpiece.
Beetlejuice vs. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
As mentioned previously, the influence of German Expressionism is evident in Burton’s work, and in my opinion, especially in Beetlejuice. The film has striking visual similarities to, arguably, one of the first horror films, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), directed by a German director of the silent era - Robert Wiene. The film follows a somnambulist who makes horrifying predictions of future events. I watched it in university while I studied film, and I have to say, I was utterly spellbound. The fact that a silent film can be spine-chilling like that still blows my mind.
The distorted corridor in Beetlejuice mirrors the endless, distorted corridor in The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. It evokes a sense of claustrophobia, almost like an optical illusion. The surrealist, angular structure of the Caligari corridor seamlessly fits into Beetlejuice, capturing the dreamlike, or rather nightmarish atmosphere. Exactly what one imagines the afterlife to be like.
In the following comparison shots, we can even identify a door with a diagonal line in Burton’s still, and the exact same shaped detail (window/door) on the house in Wiene’s still. I missed a crucial and rather obvious detail, which I just now discovered. You should have seen the way my jaw dropped: there is a black silhouette of a man in the background, seemingly holding a broom in Burton’s shot. Similarly, in Caligari’s shot, there is a man wearing black, holding what appears to be a cane.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The following two shots also sparked an 'aha' moment for me. In one, the green light and the appearance of a dead bride with a tulle veil emerge from the darkness. In another, there is a muted green light covering the room, and a girl sleeps in a white nightgown, reminiscent of a wedding dress, on a bed adorned with tulle sheets.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THE DINNER
There's a dinner scene in Beetlejuice that's wonderfully campy and even a bit meta, making it one of the most standout moments in cinema to date. The scene features Lydia, her parents, and their friends having dinner. In an attempt to scare them into leaving, the deceased couple (the Maitlands) and Betelgeuse possess the guests. One by one, they start moving involuntarily and break into singing Harry Belafonte’s legendary song 'Day-O (The Banana Boat Song),' in his distinctive voice. I truly love this artistic decision because it cleverly uses dark humour and absurdity to dilute the frightening topic of spirits and afterlife.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As I reflect on this chain of influence, I think of it as the epitome of 'one thing led to another.' I love that I could delve into Winona Ryder's creative universe and discover life-altering cinematic classics as a young girl. This, however, is just one of the many discoveries I made as a 13-year-old reading Alexa's book. More is yet to come...

Watching a review of the Wednesday show and the guy was like "this show is good because it was everything Chilling Adventures of Sabrina should have been" and I was just like, bro no
Like I said it from the get go that this show was literally going to be a Sabrina knockoff and he literally just confirmed all of my suspicions, but said it was a good thing the show went this route and I just. That's the ultimate problem with the show that it would rather take aesthetics from Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, shows with great visuals but shitty writing that get tons of clicks rather than risk making something that would be respectful to the source material but an original work of art in this age of cliche Netflix Riverdale aesthetic teen dramas, like the main issue is that they didn't make the Wednesday show like this because they thought it would serve the family and their narrative they made it like this because it would be profitable. In no world should you be comparing some Riverdale spinoff to an Addams Family property, there should not be a world where we make the Addams Family a Riverdale aesthetic murder mystery show (which btw that was Riverdale's season one, a murder mystery), that's not their core, that's not their aesthetic, I don't want to live in a world where The Addams Family are two steps away from crossing over with a Riverdale property, the dialogue he played to show how well written the show was, made me cringe so much, like it was basic and cliche and it didn't subvert anything the way the Addams Family is supposed to and it just feels like such a waste of Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, because I do agree with him that she was insanely well cast and deserves to be Wednesday in a property that is actually good and is actually The Addams Family, they all do, this cast is like the only good thing this show adds to The Addams Family canon. He's not completely charitable to the show and he does point out the obvious flaws with the terrible love triangle, the cringey side characters, and the lackluster way they try to wrap up the big conspiracy at the end, but he admitted that he never liked the Addams Family or knows anything about the OG family and so taking his word on this show is something that needs to be taken with a massive grain of salt.
The issue at the core of this review is that he doesn't understand the source material and he doesn't understand that taking Wednesday away from her family and making her into a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina knockoff doesn't quite mesh with the source material's original intent and I don't think you always need to stick to the source material especially with something as lose as The Addams Family, but when the show is just ultimately Tim Burton trying to keep his career and his white goth aesthetic alive and using a property with characters already known by the public in order to ensure the most profit possible (remember Netflix telling Craig McCracken they didn'twant any new IPs only reboots and sequels) putting this family into a show that is antithesis to their core artistic directive and the way they just completely butchered every other character's personality in the Addams Family besides Wednesday is beyond disappointing. It's just so obvious after watching this review to me that the show only used The Addams Family for their aesthetic and that they (Tim Burton) wanted to use Wednesday Addams as a Winona Ryder goth manic pixie dream girl archetype rather than what her characterization and her family's characterization actually is
I think the biggest thing I took away from his review is that the Riverdale creator is a desparate Tim Burton wannabe who can't write a good script to save his life and so it makes sense to me that the new Tim Burton show was just a Riverdale looking teen drama with slightly better writing

Mermaids is such a surreal film. Teenage wannabe nun Winona Ryder praying a lot while her mom Cher (who is Jewish, even though Winona is obsessed with being a Catholic) goes off and has a lot of fun. Winona becomes obsessed with her SCHOOL BUS DRIVER, Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles, and they make out in a bell tower after the news breaks that JFK was assassinated. Little sister Christina Ricci almost drowns while Winona is later having sex with Jake Ryan.
1990. It was a different time.

Sean astin (variety)- “The Duffers and [director] Shawn Levy were so insistent that ‘you have no idea how much people are going to like Bob’. The positive response to Bob has been heartwarming for me, but it also kind of forced me to think about what it was that they liked so much. And what I’ve kind of appreciated way more after watching the response is how much people want and need for there to be nice, decent people in the world. And that a stepfather or a wannabe stepdad  can come into your life and may be a little bit awkward but just wants to make it work — there’s no hesitation from Bob. Bob isn’t questioning where the relationship is going. Bob is all in...there was never any doubt that Bob was just 100% pure, through and through.
And then there’s a moment with Winona outside her shop where we’re sitting and I talk about bullies and the fact that bullies pick on people who don’t push back. That relationship to Will is really special in my mind, and it says a lot about a lot of things. And I feel like Bob gives voice to an aspect of that that is familiar to everyone. If you’re not the guy who is going to puff your chest out like a rooster and go fight somebody, our society discards you. So I think it’s really, really good to give that person, the kind of normal guy, a chance to look at a broken woman and try to bond with her.
I remember David Harbour’s speech at the SAG Awards when he talked about people who feel left out, people who feel othered and lonely in life and need a champion, and how he thinks  that’s the reason people like “Stranger Things.”

31 Days of Wayhaven, Day 20
Prompt: Fear Rating: PG, for Nicky’s language (again) and minor injuries Words: 1,103 Characters: Nicolo Morelli, the rest of Unit Charlie Summary: When tasked to intercept and bring in a predator, Unit Charlie did not think they’d become prey themselves, especially not from the threat chasing them.
For the @31daysofwayhaven event.
Jumping through windows to avoid being caught was old hat to Nicky.  Yet instead of bounding over ledges and running across roof tiles to escape angry fathers or husbands who had come home too early, this time Nicky was vaulting over stone decorations and finding his footing on loose and rotting roofing material as he chased after a local urban legend while trying not to get his ass shot at by over-exuberant modern day vampire hunters.
As if the thing they were both chasing was actually a vampire.
“All I’m saying is that you can’t eat random people!” Nicky shouted, grateful that he took a half-century or so to learn Russian, and not just the swear words or pickup lines, swerving to avoid another projectile.  The idiots behind him were shrieking, partly in delight and mostly in fear about actually witnessing a vampire in the flesh and Nicky had half a mind to let them shoot him with their makeshift stake launcher, turn around, and scare the fuck out of them when he read them the riot act about shooting live ammunition at something they weren’t sure was human or not.
He wouldn’t though. One, he really liked the shirt he was wearing and didn’t want to ruin it and two, the creature he was chasing would have gotten away.
“What’s your twenty?” Cam asked, his voice coming in huffs through Nicky’s earpiece as he ran to take up the chase from his designated position.
“Being chased by drunk frat boys on the roof!  Target is twenty feet ahead of me, about to round the drop-off spot and -” he cursed as a fiery sensation ripped through his leg.  Stumbling, Nicky scrambled to keep his footing atop the roof, terrified of the drop down. The fall would definitely kill him, and he wasn’t too keen on trying to retrace his steps the second he woke up again, floating in the raging river below. “Fuck!  I’m hit, we should have waited until it had eaten these bastards first!”
“Get to safety, I see the target!” This from Penny.  “Initiating my part of the chase.”
“Bless you,” he mumbled, grunting as he swung down and hopped onto a lower balcony.  He didn’t have the exact schematics of the crumbling castle memorized, but he knew enough to know where to hide as the men chasing him realized where he had gone.
Grateful that his body didn’t give off a heat signature for their fancy equipment, Nicky took the time to pick them off one by one, easily knocking them unconscious.
The next phase of Unit Charlie’s chase didn’t need human interference. He took great glee in breaking all their equipment and hefted their stake-launcher over his shoulder for Agency confiscation.  On second thought, he took all their other weapons as well. The one who shot him had gotten a lucky hit with a crossbow, the bolt still imbedded in his thigh.  It was going to take more than one person to yank it out, and it definitely slowed him down, the pain making him grit his teeth.
Ah, Isabela, he inwardly cursed, limping his way back to the rendezvous spot as fast as he could.  You made it so I could never die, but you didn’t make it so I couldn’t feel pain?  You are a cruel woman.
Nicky, now not being chased by wannabe monster hunters, somehow made it to the rendezvous point just in time to see his three partners corner their quarry.  Huh.  This wasn’t some fearsome beast as the locals had made her out to be, but a small child, pale and trembling behind long, lanky black hair.
“We shouldn’t get too close,” Cam warned.
Nicky held out a hand.  “You shouldn’t get too close.  Out of all of us, I have the least to lose if she strikes.”  Limping closer, he crouched down to her level, trying his best to hide the fact that the move made him grit his teeth in pain.
“They were going to hurt me,” the child whispered in Russian.
“They were afraid,” he replied in the same language.  “Fear makes people do things they do not mean to do.”
“I’m scared.”  She drew her scrawny legs close to her chest and tried to make herself as small as possible.
“Are you alone here, little one?”
The girl nodded.  “Mama...the bad people came once before.  Mama tried to chase them off, but they had…” she looked past Nicky to the stake launcher he had confiscated, a strained noise escaping her as she scrabbled backwards.  There was nowhere to go though, they’d cornered her against the stone wall the castle was built out of.
“Shhh...it’s okay.”  Nicky held his hands out and moved so his body would hide the weapon.  It didn’t take a genius to figure out what had happened to the child’s mother.  “I took it from them, they can’t hurt you, not anymore.”
“Are you going to hurt me?”
Nicky’s heart twisted painfully in his chest.  “No.  No, little one, none of us are going to hurt you, I promise.  We came here to help you.”
She sniffled and hid her face behind the long curtain of her hair.  “I don’t want to be alone anymore.  I don’t want to be scared.”
Very carefully, Nicky inched his way towards her.  “If you come with us, you won’t be alone any longer.  We are part of a group that can help you, and you won’t have to be scared.”
The little girl carefully lifted her head so her hair slid away from her face.  She was far too thin for any child, and who knew how long she had been out there by herself, possibly with no way to feed.  “You promise no one will hurt me?  Like the bad people hurt Mama?”
He nodded.  “I promise.”  He wasn’t given any warning when the girl rushed forward, her bony little arms wrapped around Nicky’s neck and her head tucked under his chin.  He wrapped his arms around her frail body and rose to his feet, letting out a grunt of pain as his leg protested the move.
“My name is Nicolo, but all my friends call me Nicky.  And these are my friends Cam, Penny, and Winona.”  He shifted her to his hip for better balance as they started the trek back to where they had parked their van, thinking that he was going to have to get Penny to pull out the crossbow bolt soon or else his leg was going to heal around it.  “Come on, let’s get you safe.”

Movie HOT Takes
Spirited Away: YES it is ok. YES it has magic. YES it will get to the part of you that is still six years old, lost in the grocery store, trying to be brave.
Princess Mononoke: A feminist tries to kill god. Offers no clear answers on man’s place in the greater scheme of things. Very ok.
Kiki’s Delivery Service: Feel-good movie of the CENTURY. Ok.
My Neighbor Totoro: Magic is REAL, nature is GOOD, and you are LOVED. I cannot stress how much every single human needs to see this movie at least once. Ok.
Little Women 2019: Wonderful, magical, hard to follow. You WILL cry and you WILL like it. Ok.
Little Women 1996: WINONA RYDER. Need I say more? Ok.
Heathers: Best teen movie because instead of simplifying high schoolers into cliches, it mocks the adults and society that so eagerly dismisses them. Also don’t romanticize red flags, because sometimes a sexy dark horse is actually a wannabe mass murderer. Ok.
Juno: Exact opposite of Heathers, even more relevant. Sweet, awkward, Ellen Page + Michael Cera = Ok.
Edge of Seventeen: Over the top, still Ok.
Booksmart: HILARIOUS. Incredible, showstopping, spectacular. This movie says lesbian rights.
Election: Heathers’ lesser known little sister. Matthew Brodericks conviction that he is without fault leads him to destroy his marriage and career over 1 (one) overachieving teenage Reese Witherspoon. Greek tragedy 100%, comedy 100%. Ok.
Murder on the Orient Express: After I see a movie for the first time, it stays in my head for a few days so I can reflect. This is the only movie I’ve ever known to skip that phase entirely. I forgot everything about it the second the credits started rolling. Quite possibly the most mediocre moviegoing experience I have ever had.
The Truman Show: Magnificent. Timeless. Where is this energy in Jim Carrey’s other movies? Ok.
Inception: Overrated? Sure. Wasted Ellen Page? Perhaps. Christopher Nolan’s hyper-inflated ego? That goes without saying. Still pretty good. Ok.
Inglorious Basterds: Took an excellent plot (jewish woman masquerading as an ordinary business owner in Nazi-occupied France loves a black man, plots slow and careful revenge against the man who slaughtered her family) and pushed it to the side in favor of brad pitt and his worst accent. Still mad about it. Not ok.
A Scanner Darkly: You had me at Philip K Dick, lost me at trippy cartoon, but got me back with keanu Reeves, winona ryder, and Robert Downey Jr. 10/10 faithful adaptation of dick’s best novel, 10/10 reminder that drug abuse is medical not criminal, 10/10 slow painful journey into madness. Good sci-fi, HORRIFYING opening scene (skip if afraid of bugs). Ok.

ok guys… hear me out…. a character based off the riot grrrl movement of the 90s but with margaret qualley’s face…. that’s billie
full name.     billie renee haynes. nickname / s.     bill, ??? birthdate.    october 27th, 1995. age.     twenty-four y.o. star sign.     scorpio, babey. gender & pronouns.     cisfemale, she / her. sexual orientation.     bisexual. occupation.     bassist / cashier / wannabe ghost hunter. place of birth.     misty hollow, connecticut.
backstory.
billie’s life was always a little chaotic, tbh ! she was the youngest to kim and elijah haynes, the only sister to two older brothers. she spread the rumor that she ate her twin in the womb in middle school, but unfortunately that was just her lying to seem more interesting.
her house was the kind of small where there’s no privacy. she shared her room with her brothers her entire life which was … a nightmare ! so surprising to no one she was more of an outside kinda girl. always exploring, always finding an excuse to get out, typically barefoot. y’know the type.
winona ryder vc always a fan of the strange and unusual. her and her mom would watch murder shows on id together all the time ‘nd those ghost specials on tv were literally billie’s jam growing up. she’s known she’s wanted to be a paranormal investigator from a young age.
her parents were both huge stoners ! both of ‘em never bother to hide this. their entire family had a 70s vibe to them tbh…. lmao.
billie was never stupid, but she never applied herself in school, either. was always a sweet kid and never got into too much trouble aside from talking a little too much and playing rough with her friends. was very anti-drug as a child, too … ironic isn’t it ...
anyways, she thought there were more important things in life than school so she just never… bothered.
rebel girl plays in the background she started getting into the punk scene when she was thirteen… tho that was more of an emo phase. then she started learning guitar, learned she can’t sing for shit, ‘nd transitioned to bass. started smoking pot around fifteen with the permission of her mom… got really into stick ‘nd pokes… the type to ditch class ‘nd smoke under bleachers in an 80s movie… thought she was Cool™ .
got recruited into rosie’s band and she’s been the bassist ever since!! misty hollow’s own tall ‘nd gay hex girls .. love to see it !!
did one year of college ‘nd flunked. lied to her mom for an entire year ‘nd then got caught oop!! her mom gave her the option of getting a job or getting kicked out. since ghost hunting with shitty equipment wasn’t exactly getting views on youtube, she started getting part time jobs all over town.
she got fired from a lot of jobs over the years. since her band and ghosthunting expeditions are her main focus, she shoves any other job aside.
anyways, her mom eventually kicked her out, but she’s secured her job the thrift store w/ nothin’ but her charm, babey. she lived in her car for her a while, but now she’s found a shitty apartment that she can only afford thanks to her roommates. *👀
personality ‘nd stuff.
she seems tougher than she is. she’s v sensitive, gentle, the type who wouldn’t hurt a fly. at the same time, she gets drunk on stage ‘nd screams at hecklers while the adrenaline is pumpin’ so … love a girl who is dynamic !
loves her friends more than anything. always willing to go out of her way for absolutely Anyone who needs it and is probably one of the least judgemental people ever… but...
she’s also… v annoying. tends to zone out in conversations … always encouraging people to do dumb things in order to ~learn~ … she can never make up her mind about who she is and has no sense of self but u kno that’s just relatable. takes things too personal sometimes nd won’t confront the person but will just cry abt it!
innocent in the way she seems to b carefree ‘nd awe of the world… like she doesn’t know consequences or worries… just gettin’ drunk ‘nd living life… a Dream
rlly thinks she’s going to grow up and have a show like buzzfeed unsolved while also being a bassist in a very well known ‘nd respected band… the delusion.. lov that for her.
always looking for something to put herself into. creativity is everything to her and without it she’d probably drive herself crazy. her mind is always buzzin’ ‘nd she’s always looking for an Out !
her style influence is v much d’arcy ( image ) ( image )
tries to leave as much waste behind as possible… walks everywhere… wants to hitchhike even tho people are getting murdered... is her mother’s nightmare tbh.
believes that the ghosts of misty stranger’s victims haunt misty hollow and honestly thinks she’s gonna be the one to prove it… out of all the professionals in the town…. whew honey
also… is terrified of ghosts and demons. she’s the ryan bergara to her bandmate lou’s shane… she probably cries during 80% of their ghost hunts
wanted connections.
friends. outside of her band!! give her someone to share conspiracies with, or someone who is the total opposite of her, or someone to smoke w… platonic goodness pls!!
a fan. okay… or maybe they’re pretending to get on her good side bc the band’s not exactly popular … that’s up to you!! regardless, she’ll try really hard to stay on this person’s good side.
exes. she’s been in misty hollow all her life, but long distance could be a thing too if ur muse isn’t from here!! good terms, bad terms, idc give me it all.
people who know her thru her family?? her dad’s been a chef at the diner forever and her mom’s a teacher. her older brothers also lived here their whole lives so connections based around them could be fun too, they’re npc so we can plot some stuff out!!
roommates. [ 0/2 ] people she can annoy by practicing her bass all hours of the night… but she loves them! mostly.
idk, i’ll take anything!! just like this and i’ll hit you up for some plots!!
