Goncharov exists in fundamental opposition to AI

The phenomenon of Goncharov is the spontaneous and original artistic creation of something from nothing. It's a community movement that brings together artists, writers, composers, meme-makers, etc.

It's beautiful.

That phenomenon does not include AI.

By its very nature, AI cannot participate in or create Goncharov. AI steals and recycles art from other people: it can't create new concepts, it cannot add to the imagination or themes or storytelling, and it's a gross violation of everything Goncharov represents. AI is not original. AI is incapable of contributing to anything.

Real people have put pen and ink to paper to create fantastic and colorful and evocative art for a movie that doesn't exist. This is an outpouring of time and talent and creativity and effort and love. You see the movie posters and artwork and you're just blown away by the themes and the vision and the recreation of 1973 aesthetics. This act of original community creation is amazing.

And now AI has invaded Goncharov and made a mockery of all of it.

Be aware that nothing AI is Goncharov. Nothing AI is art.

Be vigilant when sharing that you don't include or give attention to AI-generated garbage. It's incredible and disappointing that anyone could see Goncharov and miss the most basic fundamentals of the phenomenon.

Goncharov is a human creation. Only a human creation can be part of Goncharov. AI images are not a human creation and anyone attempting an AI Goncharov image has already failed.

I don't know what to do... My rent just went up from $550 to $615 and it's wrecking my finances, we will have absolutely no money for things like oil changes and tires or God forbid the repairs the car already needs, or any other emergency. If I stop smoking by August when the price hike comes into effect I can gain a little leeway but we'd still be a few missed work shifts from being totally fucked. My partner is disabled but able to work, and I am disabled and unable to stand for more than an hour and a half at a time from pain and weakness, or be outside the house for more than three or four hours without having an anxiety or panic attack and severe dissociation. I can't look people in the eye anymore, much less be customer facing and I have no marketable skills really. I can't wait for disability, though once my (as yet unseen) Rheumatologist has an answer for me I will be applying then. What am I supposed to do? My partner is working on getting a new job but she doesn't have any post high-school education either, and to change to a decent job she'll have to start driving way farther away and it'll more than double the $200/month we spend on gas (shitty car I get 18 mpg).

What can I do? Genuinely, especially from other disabled folks, what am I supposed to do here? How can I make a few hundred dollars a month from home without a laptop? I have an iPad aith the keyboard dock so I can still type, and use non-mobile sites. Any ideas are appreciated.

I'm not good enough or consistent enough with making art to sell it. I can't do fiber crafts hardly at all. Not hot enough for only fans /j.

I am good at synthesizing information so if there was a way to get paid to read and summarize, that would be ideal but I'm sure that's wishful thinking.

the last time I obsessively visit DA is 2011. i took part in an art challenge called 52 week project. i mainly drew but i also experimented on different forms of art. i learned a lot especially after talking to some deviants (DA users).

since i don't use it professionally, i quite like DA. i do have TheOtaku and Pixiv cause of the community that i came across with. there is no websites that is perfect, its a matter of preference.

but i think there are less users recommending DA ever since the whole AIthing. i was told when i was young that being an artist is hard, which is why ever since i was a kid i never looked at being a professional artist.
