Q: How do you store your bookmarks? I need ideas 😆 Right now I have them in a draw string bag, but that bag is getting full and it can take a long time to find a bookmark if I'm looking for something specific. As I make more, I need a better system to organise them somehow... I feel like that's something I'd start of trying to do only for have it to fall apart very quickly 😂 In an ideal world, I think I'd have some bookish display mugs on my shelves to put them into. Unfortunately, all my shelf space is going toward double stacking my books at the moment so no room for mugs. 🔖 Legendary bookmarks now available in my Etsy store @booktineusdesigns (link is in my bio). Q: What is your favorite book you read in July?. Me, actually posting a wrap up post on the last day of the month?! AMAZING!. Full wrap up post on the blog now, link in bio. In July, I read 9 books total – this seems to be my monthly average these days! The month started off a little rocky but once I found my footing in books, I read a lot of 4 and 5 star reads so I’m really happy about that!. It's hard to pick just ONE favorite this month, but if I had to pick, I'd say Firekeeper's Daughter was my overall favorite. A mystery/thriller with Native American characters with contemporary Native American culture and language (Anishinaabemowin) prevalent throughout the book. Kept me on the edge of my seat and intrigued the entire time. I just finished Malibu Rising yesterday and once again, Taylor Jenkins Reid surpasses my expectations. I would like to live inside of a Taylor Jenkins Reid book please and thank you. She has such a way with words and setting the scene, I feel like I am really THERE. Her storytelling ability is unlike anything else. Q: What was your best read of the month? I can't believe it's already the end of July already. Q: What is your favorite book you read in June?. In June, I read 9 books total, including 2 non-fiction, 1 graphic novel. I DNF-ed 2 books – I was not feeling them and ready to move on. My favorite book of June was easily The Box in the Woods – I loved the Truly Devious trilogy and I was so looking forward to the 4th book, set weeks after the end of the previous trilogy – and it did not disappoint. So many feel good feels and I was so happy to be back in that setting. Other honorable mentions were romance story The Soulmate Equation - A “dating” company that will take your DNA and then find your soulmate match? Can this be real life and where can I sign up?. Instructions for Dancing - another Nicola Yoon hit. I will read everything Nicola writes from now until always - and her stories always have a twist that you don't see coming. #Heartstopper Volume 3 - I'm chugging along reading the sweetest graphic novel story EVER and if you haven't picked it up yet, I highly recommend this story! Volume 3 was more serious and dealt with mental health issues and eating disorders, which I didn’t expect, but I’m glad this series tackles important issues.
