TRE CIME DI LAVADERO (Three Peaks of Lavadero) are the symbol of the Dolomites, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. Located between Auronzo di Cadore and Misurina. The highest peak, called the Great (Grande) reaches 2999 m, the second, the West Peak (Cima Ovest) the 2973 m and the smallest, the Small (Piccola) the 2857 m. You can access by car (2 hour drive from Bolzano), bus (line 444 from Dobbiaco town). You can start your walk from Rifugio Auronzo. Vicars Close: is claimed to be the oldest purely residential street with original buildings surviving intact in Europe.
