welcome to the kirby place, an apartment complex that is way more than just a place to live, it’s a community. our establishments count with many shops and restaurants on the ground floor as well as being in close range of a farmers market for every resident to enjoy and hang out in.

the kirby place is a chill and relaxed apartment 28+ discord verse based in chicago, heavily focused on character development and relationships of them with the other members. hopefully focused on the writing and moving your muse’s life forward. it will mostly be a plotless group to keep the growth of the characters as a priority but it will count with many small events to keep things moving and interesting !

Pearl Harbor

Not a fan of Affleck or his character but Josh Hartnett is great in it. You get war, romance, drama & pain all in one.

Hustlers

It's not just a strippers movie. It's deeper than that. You see someone struggling to make money and to live a life.

Then you see a group of women come together to make money and ruin some men's life😂

Trigger warning: Drugs.

Knives Out

A detective investigates the death of a patriarch of an eccentric, combative family.

It gives off Clue (game) vibes.

It has a great cast and amazing performances of Ana De Armas, Chris Evans & Daniel Craig.

Drama, humor and tension all in one.

Series:

9-1-1: Lone Star

It's a 9-1-1 spin off, but you don't need to watch the first one to understand Lone Star.

Very recommended! It has a gay couple, a trans character, a muslim woman, an immigrant... It's not the type of show I'm usually into but I really enjoyed seeing these firefighters do their job. It includes one of my fave characters (TK Strand) and ships (Tarlos, the gay couple).

Trigger warnings: Cancer, suicide & substance abuse/addiction.

Season 1 just finished (10 eps) a d it was renewed for a 2nd season.

Penny Dreadful:

In Pearl Harbor you can see a young Josh Hartnett, here you will enjoy an older version. He ages like fine wine. It included him ans the wonderful Eva Green.

You will like it if you enjoy supernatural stuff and period dramas. It's set in Victorian London. It includes Egyptian stuff, possessions and different literary characters. And the performances are awesome.

It includes one of my fave characters Ethan Chandler (Josh) and fave ships (Ethanessa).

Trigger warning: Gore, lots of blood, sexy scenes & deaths.

It has 3 seasons. After that it was cancelled but the closed the stories.

Titans:

If you are into superheroes, this is a good show. Personally, I enjoyed season 1 way more. It's a dark show, story and screen wise😂

And one of my fave characters ever is in it. Check the url for a hint hahaha Also one of my fave ships is in this too!

If you enjoy DC and comics, this is a good option! It doesn't really follow canon but I enjoy it a lot!

There are 2 seasons on Netflix. Season 3 will come after all of this end of the world thing is over.

Trigger warnings: Blood, violence, trauma, experimentation in an Asylum/Lab & suicide attempt.

Young Justice:

If you are into animated DC stuff, this show is very entertaining. It's basically the story of the sidekicks. You start with Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad & Speedy.

As the show goes on they add more characters and they even grow as there is a time jump. You go from seeinf young Robin to seeing young Nightwing. You also see some of the Justice League.

It's funny, entertaining and has good plots.

It has 3 seasons for now. A 4th is coming.

Buzzfeed Unsolved: Supernatural

A guy that believes in paranormal stuff and one that doesn't come together to investigate if ghost and demons are real. They go to real haunted places full of history trying to prove their point.

You will laugh a lot and it's not really that scary.

You can find it on youtube. It has 6 seasons. They also have a different part of it which is dedicated to True Crime (haven't started that one yet).

Books:

I'm awful when it comes to books as I never really find books I enjoy.

So I can only recommend basic studd everyone knows, such as:

Twilight & Harry Potter sagas & The Maze Runner Trilogy.
