haikyuu boyfriends~

it's time for dadchi. i've been obsessed with the captains lately bc a conversation with a friend ended up with ideas for a crack fic involving all the captains... but when i get around to it i'll... get around to it 😭 working sucks. especially during this covid19 business and the fact that i'm an essential worker so i cant work from home (;-;)

* ah the ever supportive one

* and also over protective

* will not let u dress skimpy cos others will stare is only for him to see

* will not let u drink without him around, will insist on taking u home

* basically. his dadchi instincts r too strong

* like, he doesn't mind if u come to his matches but only if it doesn't interfere with your studies and stuff. that's the kind of bf he's gonna b

* it's probably cos he's got your best interests at heart, and also cos he is slightly anxious

* he doesn't want any harm to come to u

* so yeah let him do his thing, and once he feels safer about you or when u prove that yeah you've got things under control he will loosen up a little

* this boy loves DEEPLY. committed relationships are key words

* daichi doesn't fuck around with others feelings. especially yours. and he will NOT let others hurt you either. if you're being bullied he is gonna go feral so make sure suga is there to hold him back ya

* king of sweet nothings and loveydovey messages

* "remember to take breaks okay? love u"

* "don't worry about the tests, you've prepared as much as you can, it'll be alright ◡̈"

* daichi's the type who will remember anniversaries and your birthday but he will forget his own

* flowers are standard on every anniversary/birthday. sometimes he will also bring some cake/sweets

* he's a worrier. haven't i already said this in several forms oops

* when you're ill, he worries. will come by and make u porridge. it will be more than passable, probably learnt from suga? or asahi, totally hc asahi being a good cook even if it's just for my self indulgent domestic asahi/noya fluff scenarios

* he's good at calming you down, somehow. it's the tone of his voice, and also the way he is squeezing your hand

* he's not one for PDA. "gotta b a good example to the kids" so when you're out and about there's rarely any outward physical affection. even holding hands, sometimes he's ok with not holding. ofc if u want to hold his hand he is not opposed to it. a nice, assuring grip. mmmmmm what else can those hands do

* he's also not very very touchy in private but he likes to give you back hugs domestic flufffffffffffffff and/or hold you by the waist and put his forehead to yours and just. close his eyes and rest like that. he's recharging, ok. you'll have to push him off gently if u need to do things and he will be sad but it's ok you can do more later you can do more than more later ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

* daichi's love language is acts of service, no surprises there

* will carry your bag

* will help u make doctors appointments

* will help you with your work

* and all through that he will make sure you're nice and well fed/ comfortable

* see daichi is just rlly great husband material.

* anyway what is a relationship without fighting right. daichi's not exactly perfect

* when you fight, honestly neither of you can remember the reason halfway through

* cos y'all go off track and get petty and stuff. it's actually quite cute to watch. suga is convinced you two have been secretly married for years when he watches you argue

* anyway daichi is a pretty stubborn type. he will stand his ground.

* but later in the evening or so he will be out with suga and asahi and he will turn into anxious!daichi

* "what if they are right and i am wrong? should i apologise? but i still think..."

* he will ramble on and on and suga and asahi just. listen like the wonderful friends they are.

* are they? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) suga's probably texting u under the table the little snitch

* asahi is either aware of the snitching and is slightly nervous or he isn't aware but is still nervous cos daichi doesn't normally freak out so much (alcohol definitely lowers his inhibition. he will keep talking with lesser filter as the night goes on, giving suga lots of blackmail material)

* anyway regardless the two of them will help daichi realise that 1. talking to them won't help the situation 2. he should stop drinking and go home 3. so that he can talk to u about it and then make up.

* it's easy to make up with daichi. he's very forgiving when it comes to u. you're his soft spot, his weakness ( ^ω^ ) suga says you should exploit it.

* he likes it when you surprise kiss him but he will never admit it

* fav place to kiss you: forehead, between your eyebrows

* fav place to b kissed: oh as long as it's a surprise he likes it already. but if you hug him from behind and kiss him in the hollow behind his ear he is going to go crazy heheheh prepare yourself ya. it's bedroom time

* gentle most of the time, unless u purposely push his buttons then he gets a little wild ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

* daichi is in it for the long run tho. marriage is a big goal. and to him it's just one step in a long long journey with you

* all in all, great husband material. when u get married asahi will be crying and suga will b so proud and happy

* i don't see daichi with many kids, but i think he really really really enjoys the making of kids ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
