Trying manage to wrap all the presents for christmas 2 days before christmas (christmas is celebrated on the 24e in sweden) instead of during the morning of christmas itself

And i realised that... two days is not enough for this to not be... to few hours to wrap all these gifts. So, many! Gifts!

April's gone already? Wow, really flew on by huh! I finished a bunch of Secret Projects which I'll be able to share soon! Played a lot of Project Sekai, too much maybe, do not ask for numbers I do not wish to know, and read some books. Not a lot, but some. I've not been very good at the book part of book blogging, but that's okay! Started a knitted hat for my mom, and made progress on the Never Ending Blanket.

Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett ⭐⭐ - I was very disappointed in this. If I had writerly abilities and disciplines, I'd rewrite it because the bones are there! It has potential! Until then, I will hold on to what I've read of Lady Trent.

Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch ⭐⭐⭐⭐- Fun! Silly! Exciting! I've been successfully bullied into reading Rivers of London! There were some bits that lagged, but it's a good start to a series and I've already checked out book two from the library so that tells you all you need to know.

Locklands by Robert Jackson Bennet ⭐⭐⭐- Not my favorite of the trilogy, but LOOK AT ME FINISHING A SERIES! This actually made me Hate Clef, and there wasn't a whole lot of scriving going on which is what I really enjoyed about the first two. Still, a decent enough ending to the series, though the epilogue kept me from hating it outright.

Reading goals for May are read and annotate a book for a friend (in progress), Moon over Soho, and System Collapse. I am behind on my bullet journal so I'd like to catch up on that too. I have a few sewing projects to attend to, and a few long term crocheting projects to work on as well. Birthday was lowkey and fun, friends have sent me lovely gifts! And of course, at some point, I will start BG3 and liveblog the progress. Yall will not be spared. Happy May! <3

MAN THE MUSICAL NUMBERS CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD I HAD TO PAUSE AND STARE FROWNING okok!!! so the thing was that one time agessss ago you said liking ml fanfics is just wanting to read the same story over and over again and after that textbook 2016 post reveal final kiss that sentence just flashed in my mind and everything that happened in the movie (the ladynoir patrol fighting in the rooftops, the adrien snapping at his dad, gabriel being actually decent) just shifted in context for me and the realization of how fanfic coded the movie is and how that directly related to my enjoyment was so clear i couldnt stop laughing hdhshsjs

i remember saying that and its STILL TRUE!! And honestly you're putting it in perspective for me, thats why i liked the things i liked about the movie. like the ladynoir patrol fighting on the roofs also did lowkey make my dreams come true they could have done whatever they wanted in the rest of the movie, that scene is what i live for.

And that last scene really did feel like it was out of a fanfic, A 2016 FANFIC, its OLD FANDOM VIBES. back when we were still chewing up the concept of a reveal and not picking apart the bones of adrien's identity like mad scientists.

I remember thinking im sure ive read this scene somewhere. idk where but i have. all of it in different pieces a million times.

I can't help but Headcanon Grian as a Terrible Gift Wrapper

He sees Wrapping paper and Shivers thinking about the terror He feels while Wrapping gifts.

Everytime a Hermits Birthday comes around He has to get Gift Bags instead because He literally can't wrap without the paper getting torn and then getting everywhere

My Grian Design has sharp talons so I think they'd mess up the pretty Wrapping paper and he'd get all sad and >:(

He trys to use them as scissors each time he trys again and it never works because they just aren't.

If he ever has a Gift he just REALLY wants wrapped he gets Scar or Pearl to do it!!

I headcanon Scar to be really good at Wrapping Gifts, He knows all the proper ways to cut and fold the Paper and actually uses Scissors, He makes them all Fancy too, It's really easy to tell when Grian got Scar to Wrap the Gift. I think they'd hang out together while wrapping gifts during the Hoildays and Grian would watch Scar Wrap a gift, get motivated to try again and then fail miserably, Scar would cheer him on the entire time.

I think Grian asks Pearl to Wrap gifts out of Habit, Since I headcanon them as Siblings, Grian and Pearl used to always Wrap Gifts for their Family and Friends together(Before Grian went missing in Evo(Headcanon)) Since they were Kids, It was harder to get Gift Bags and their Parents already had Wrapping Paper so it was just easier to Ask Pearl to help. I headcanon Pearl to be at least Decent at Wrapping Gifts, All tho I also think She perfers Gift Boxes, She likes how easy they are to open and Opening Wrapped Gifts always made her think of how wasteful it could be, She was the one to very nicely open the wrapped gift and putting all of it in a Bag to use next time. She still does it with Gifts she gets. You can find her repurposing Boxes, and Using the ripped Pieces of Wrapping paper as Tissue Paper. Grian always tore up the Wrapping paper with his Talons so they're kinda opposites in that way lol. Grian tends to hang out with Pearl when they just have Gifts to put in Bags or Boxes either way.

Since we’ve been getting the Christmas outfit of each egg and now that Pepito’s was used to surprise Bagi. Now here me out…

q!Roier gets on and gets a task saying he has to do some silly thing and for it he’ll get 3 cookies and a surprise ;), just like everyone else had.

He finishes the task and gets called to Spawn to meet Cucurucho. He hands in the task and Cucurucho gives him his cookies then he’s told to follow and is lead over to the present near the movie theatre.

Lead around to the other side and there’s a glass door. Inside, all dressed up, is q!Cellbit. Yipee!!! Husbands reunited! q!Cellbit is aliivvvee!

And they all lived happily ever after!! (I put a funnier version of this idea in the tags lol)

sometimes i think theres not that much wrong with me and then i remember when i was 8 all my siblings on christmas were like WOWWWW these presnets are SAUR COOL THIS IS AWESOME GEE THANKS ^_^ and i was over in the corner giggling to myself opening up each lego box and stacking them from biggest to smallest in my corner and then my mom would be like you dont like your presents? 🥺you havent said anything... and id be like No. I like them. Thank you Mother. and she would knag me for the rest of the day wondering why i wasnt excited 😭

#look i know that this sounds borderline unbelievable when you think of Kizuna at face value but hear me out #has Kizuna ever show genuine attraction towards men?#she flirts and goes around with guys for what they can give her (money. gifts. protection. etc) the story makes that incredibly clear #because she was taught by her mother + the environment she grew up in that it's men who are gonna give her the things she wants #and girls are “competition” of sorts #and I know there's her interactions with Yuki in her FTEs #but Kizuna gets bothered that he's not falling for her advances not because she genuinely likes him #but because she wants to get something out of him. like she does with literally every other guy #when he doesn't fall for it she takes that as an insult because of how normal he is in comparison #to other guy's she's gotten wrapped around her finger. she's mad that he didn't fall for her trap not that he doesn't like her back #the FTEs make that clear #and while there are some other lines from the final FTEs and that extra one you get from giving her a specific item #they read to me more like a mixture of Kizuna trying to leave her old habits and her teasing/messing with Yuki #like i REALLY can't see those as genuine romantic attraction #and that's saying something because as much as i dislike Ayame's final FTEs her talk with Yuki there feels more like a genuine crush/romance #than the ones Kizuna has with him in her final FTEs. you know what I'm saying?#anyways. that's the ramble for today 🥰#dra #danganronpa another #kizuna tomori #hyena ramblings
