I just love this man so much. I love how much he loves us; and supports us. That is his literal wife sitting next to him, who he’s been married to for going on 12 years, and he still was not having it at all. The exact notable second his face dropped I muttered “oh, shit” to myself all because I know exactly what expression he used to have before laying into hecklers and absolutely humiliating them (deserved) way back when and I thought he was about to snap off. He did a very good job keeping himself composed and placid, but if you zoom in on the video and speed it up you can see he’s ticking his jaw side to side; either clenching it or grinding his teeth. And then of course he sees his opening to address trans lives and round it into a broader, more inclusive statement without her finishing wherever the hell she was going to go with that. He’d been nodding along with everything and then, boom. We love you Andy, thank you for respecting us and always going out of your way to make sure we feel heard, understood, and welcome 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

Sweeney Biersack brainrotting in the lobotomy tonight 🩸🖤

I don’t have the brain for lyric analysis right now (I got back from fencing practice about an hour ago) however, I will say that I’m really loving the theories people are coming up with. To borrow a quote from @the-nation-of-today there’s so much to pick apart like string cheese.

Some people are suggesting that young Sweeney in the video represents Andy’s conscience and other people are factoring in how this video ties in themes of how BVB were treated under Sumerian Records versus under Spinefarm records.

@motley-cunt suggested that the lyric “aren’t you lucky you’re a bleeder?” Is in reference to the way some people who might be jealous of others’ success might view fame. In a sort of “aren’t you lucky you have all this stuff?” mentality. They also suggested it’s a kind of subtle fuck you to Sumerian Records.
