Longer Prompts: Bad Batch

These are just for the Bad Batch. I have other prompt posts for everyone else. They just my moment of focus right now.

I asked a few days ago about how ya'll would feel if I shared my dialogue/ Prompts in regards to clones. I separated each with (****) those guys. There's already some set names and themes but do what you will! If you use any of them, tag me, I'd love to see what you did with them! If you have questions regarding the direction I was taking with some of these also feel free to reach out lol.

But TW on some of these?? Especially for the last one. There's only a few but I'll keep going in another post lol.

"When are we gonna talk about Crosshair? No one ever talks about rescuing him, we haven't even made a plan-"

"Do you have one Tech? Do you have an idea on how we can rescue our brother, who tries to kill us everytime he sees us?" Hunter snapped.

Tech made a face, cheeks flushing from Hunter's sudden rage, "I- I don't-" He couldn't even think, his face had gotten so hot.

"That's what I thought." He huffed, "Shut up and work on your projects." Hunter got up, leaving Tech alone, who found it hard to breath and his grip terribly weak. Tech watched Hunter blur as he walked away, his eyes had watered. They didn't get mad at each other, not like that, not in a way that made each other want to cry, to become small and fade away. But Hunter had and Tech, holding himself in a hug, found it really hard to shake it off, he couldn't be here, he couldn't have anyone see him, he had to be alone until he wasn't upset anymore.

"Tech! Support!" Echo screamed as Wrecker knelt down, letting Twch ran up his back to do a flip, landing next to Echo, hands on his hips and looking up as if he was a superhero.

"Tech support has arrived, how may I be of assistance?" Tech looked to Echo.

"We got a broken com." Echo held out the com to him. Tech took it from his brother, nodding as he studied it.

"I see, well, this shouldn't be a problem, not a problem at all." Tech set the com on the table, taking off his helmet as Echo handed him a tool box. Omega peaked out from her curtain, wiping her tears as she saw them go about. Tech glanced up to her curtain before looking back, "...I have to admit Echo, I am feeling rather stumped, I'm afraid I'm in need of assistance."

"I can help!" Omega jumped down, running to the table, "I can! I broke it, I can do it, Tech!" Omega exclaimed. Echo smiled, his plan had worked perfectly. "Please?"

"Ah! My marvelous child, I'd be honored." Tech smiled with a small nod before picking up Omega to let her sit on his lap, "What do you think we should do first?"

Echo never thought about it, except that he did, he does. He'd never actually do it though. Right? He wouldn't leave his family. 'But they aren't your family' Echo shook his head, of course they were! "Shut up!" He hissed quietly, 'Rex is your family, he was mine, why don't you just leave? They won't care.' Echo shook his head. "Why are you supportive some days and an ass on others?" Echo rolled his eyes as he walked up to the morning, not even surprised when he saw Fives in the mirror.

'Because some days you love them and other days, like right now, you hate them.' Like right now, 'If you had insisted Wrecker or Tech, hell, even yourself Echo, Omega would be fine. But you didn't! So now you hate them.' Echo groaned, he knew the deal. Fives' deal. It wasn't actually Fives, Echo learned, it was all him and his damn brain. He'd considered telling Tech but, 'That shithead never stops talking, how do you manage?' Echo groaned, "You never stop talking, you shithead, I'm not even mad at Tech so shut up."

'If we had gone with Rex this never would have happened, what did you think would happened?' Echo was getting mad, this wasn't Fives, Fives wasn't a dipshit. "Just because I want to go with Rex, doesn't mean I can, I'm loyal to my family." Echo tried to calm himself down, if he was calm, so was Fives. 'Rex is your family too.' So anger flooded away, "So's Omega, how am I even thinking about leaving when she's gone?" Echo held his head in his hands, kneeling down, "Tell me Fives, am I supposed to leave before she's home just 'cause it'd be easier?"

"Wrecker, what's wrong me with and Tech?" Crosshair sat up, looking up at his brother with desperate eyes, "Why are we so sick all the time?"

Wrecker's face dropped, he had always hoped they'd ask Hunter this. But sometimes, "That's just how things to sometimes." Wrecker pulled Crosshair into a hug, he tried to push away, but alas, he was too weak, "Sometimes, we get unlucky, our bones are brittle, our lungs come out too weak, our heart isn't strong enough.. It ain't your fault," Wrecker tried to explain as best he could, "Sometimes, we're just born into a dying body and before you can even walk, you gotta fight"

"... But I don't wanna fight anymore, I'm tired, Wrecker." Crosshair mumbled, closing his eyes, "If I stopped, would you stop loving me?"

"No," Wrecker felt his eyes water, face hot, "No Crosshair, I'll never stop loving you." He pulled his little brother closer. 'One, two wheeze, one, two wheeze, one, two-' "Cross'?"

When Fire Strikes

Hello! Tragedy here! I have finished planning out the OC led Coruscant Guard fic, the last part I need, of course, is your OCs! Check out the Clones Wanted post for all the info in regards of what to include etc... So please! If you are going to send me your OCs, please check that out!

Please send me that info as you would an ask so that way I'm able to just post it with when your boy(s) appear.

Aside from guard OCs I'm also looking for medic/surgeon clone OCs that reside on the Clone medical facility on Coruscant.

Lastly, the story is gonna include a prologue and epilogue with, likely, four chapters. But that's just the plan. And I'm also in the midst of band camp so I won't get to do my hardcore writing til this weekend but I definitely am ready to start writing!

This is as close to the front lines that we're gonna get, brother, don't you see? The sun has imploded, this is our one shot, to prove our selves as soldiers to each other and all our brothers fighting the war.

I should've, I should've known we couldn't have handled this, we aren't soldiers, I'm not a soldier and he paid the price. I let him convince me this was a fight we could win, how stupid was I to believe we ever stood a chance? We're nothing but a bunch of clones.

Hello! Hello, hello! I made a post some time ago asking if anyone would be interested in a clone OC led story featuring your OCs, it didn't get a lot of attention but I'm doing it 'cause I got a story to tell. Instead of the /main/ character being a Canon clone, this is straight up gonna be just OCs with canon characters as background characters.

Few months back I did the same thing but with medics/surgeon OCs, there's more info on that at the bottom of this post. Anyway, this is sort of a flyer, I suppose, I'm gonna want your OCs to include in this story of mine. I'll be making another post when it comes time for you to actually send in your OC, but until then, below are a few things I want you to know.

If you decide you're gonna want to send me your OC (three at most please). There are a few bases things I need you to include, please, their name, (of course), anything about them that is pivotal to their personality and the position they have in the guard. I'm asking you to not send them yet because this is still in the early stages, but this gives you some time too! If you are interested please leave a comment on this post so I can tag you in another post when I'm ready for them

I am /accepting/ your clones I ask you send them as you would an ask so I can tell you what part your OC will be in primarily.

I actually hit 2,000 followers the day I left for DMA so I wasn't able to really do anything but that was a while ago and I'm finally back in my groove. So we got a few things coming. Like two things.

The Midnight Zone is a place for my fics that will include darker topics that require a more proper warning. This isn't your normal angst fics that live here, no, it's the soul-crushing ones that do.

With the introduction of The Midnight Zone comes with my 2,000 follower special, First Era. A Midnight Zone fic (TW there). It's a five part mini-fic series in which each 'chapter' highlights the young Bad Batch in a pivotal moment of their youth. First Era: Broken Heart, Eyes Dark and Stormy, Lightening Storm, and two unnamed 'chapters.'

Here in The Midnight Zone, this entire post serves as a trigger warning for sensitive subjects covered in the fics below. The secret to Angst

Not gonna lie, I get a weirdly large amount of people have asked me how I write angst, or more so how is my angst so good. (Soul-shattering, antagonizing, etc... You get the gist of it) anyway, I'll let you in on a little secret to soul crushing.

First things first, let's get a base line out of the way: Writing exceedingly painful angst involves a vast knowledge on how the human mind/body responds to trauma/pain as well as the will to float towards those borders of 'maybe this is going to hit a little close to home.' (Now don't be insensitive, be aware of a border and if you're willing to cross it).

Dying is not the worst thing to happen to the dying character! It's the worst thing for the people that LOVED them. To the living! When writing about death, talk about the people who just had their heart shattered, who just had time stop in their soul. Never the dying, only carry their emotion until they die, then shift the camera angle.

Regarding the dying person: their death will have a greater impact through the eyes of their loved ones. Have them think about all they didn't do or even worse, all that they did. Who they hurt and all their regrets. Have them die NOT happily, realizing they failed. Have them reach a moment of either total serenity, they want to die because of their terrible actions or have them dying full of anger because they never got to fix their shitty selves.

When writing about one's pain, physical and mental, the rule of imagery is your BEST FRIEND. Make poetic comparisons and be super fucking flowery. Simply telling the reader won't have the same impact as if you dance on it. (Ex. His head wouldn't stop spinning, it was so bad it brought him to tears). A good alternative through inserting flowery language changes the mood entirely. (Ex. His head was lost in a tornado, separated from his body with panging tears smashing to the ground causing earthquakes beneath his feet).

Another way I write is putting together how this breakdown will pay out. Will they scream, kick and cry, or will they breakdown and shake from agony? It's different for every character and it's your job to figure out how this character would respond.

Once you know/have an idea on their response, and you REALLY want to impact a reader, change it. Is the strong leader the type to push everything down? Have them burst wide open, let them be vulnerable unable to compose themselves as they always do.

Angst is capturing people at the very worst moments of their lives. When they are at the lowest and are wishing for a better life/ending. You want all your cards to be out. Everyone can tell if someone's having a good day. But a bad day? Oh, those are much more complicated.

SAY EVERYTHING AND NOTHING. Be as vague as possible but also, give a VERY LARGE amount of detail at the same time. Write about the pain and how it's happening, but not how it's directly affecting said person.

OKAY! With those in mind. I do a lot of research and observations regarding a character and people in general. Knowing how someone would respond and how to write it is super tricky. Using the same reaction for every character will inevitably fall flat. I like to zoom out when writing, to take a step back and explain everything in a chaotic, vague manner. Give lots of imagery to explain the scene, so much that the reader can almost feel it themselves, then jump off a cliff. Leave it hanging. Explain everything to perfection but never say anything more. Let your reader be forced to bask and comprehend all of that on their own without explaining it.

Basically, DON'T GIVE CLOSURE! It sounds weird but it's true. I like to always leave the fic a bit empty, because then the reader will be too. But it's all about building up to that moment, you write and write but fall. Leave them wondering how they carried on after their loved one died. Only explain their feelings in the moment and where they went after. But explain nothing more. (Ex. Boba said goodbye to his father and his childhood that day. When he'd cried all his tears, he wiped his eyes for the last time and stood on his blistering feet).

What to expect from me:

Angst 98% of the time and occasional wholesome fics.

Clones, obviously; There is not one clone I won't write about. I think?

Scene breakdowns. I also make gifs and usually they're followed by a scene breakdown and these are almost all angsty. These always start with 1-3 gifs.

Headcannons. Usually 3-5 bullets but they're pretty lengthy so usually are about the length of my average fic.

Angst; angst for days and crippling angst. Every piece, please be warned, topics such as character death, suicidal thoughts, depression, sad moments in show, etc; All can be in any of my fics so a trigger warning and if you're going through a particular hard time then it might be best for you to stay away from my work.

Following ships; Codywan, Blyla, Doom and Tiplar, Foxiyo, possibly Rexwalker? I'm not a big shipper but those are my 'to die for' ships

What not to:

If the chance of it happening in canon would mess up the timeline and completely change events, probably a no go.

Goofy Fics; Every now and then I'll write something silly that will make you smile but don't expect it. Nothing silly or just completely random.

What if (AUs); what if Anakin never turned, if Palpatine died, this person in place of this person. I will not write a fic that would change the layout of canon in such a drastic way.

Star Wars universe in another (AUs); Such as a Marvel, college, Earth AU, etc. Too much to think about and I'd take it as a much larger project not just a quick fic.

Reader x fics; I have nothing against these fics or their authors; They're just not my vibe, and honestly, people finding me attractive makes me uncomfortable.

NSFW; Not here in the Angst Iguana palace, no, no. I might write the occasional thirst fic but nothing drastic

Following ships; Rexsoka; clonecest, Obikin, honestly Ahsoka x anyone, and anything else that makes me uncomfortable.

Asks and Submissions:

They're always open!

You'll always be able to send a message in unless I close em, which is highly unlikely. It can be anything! Question about anything, prompts, whatever. I may or may not answer it right away but rest assured, I have not forgotten about it!

I won't answer an ask if it is a request for something I won't write or if it just ain't the vibe for me.
