so like, in the anyone AU where izuku can see the vestiges, how much screaming was there during the tartarus break in? and then in the later scene where afo makes breakfast? do any of them like... point out to izuku that this is not regular "afo to ofa holder" behaviour..?
Okay so you have to understand that as annoying as the vestiges are in this AU, they shut up when Izuku is working as a vigilante in order not to distract him when he is doing dangerous stuff and not endanger anyone's lives.
Tartarus was the exception.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I TOLD YOU TO ASK FOR TOSHINORI'S HELP! I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET INTO TARTARUS ON YOUR OWN!"
"The situation is under control!"
"THERE IS A TODDLER IN YOUR ARMS AND GUARDS WITH MACHINE GUNS RUNNING AFTER YOU!"
"All part of the plan!"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-"
"I am starting to believe you're acquainted with the gentleman... Ah, nevermind, he apparently knows I'm an OFA holder. Quite moving to finally see someone acknowledging that."
"Tell me, child, will he mourn you?"
"And just like that, my trust in an adult figure is once again broken."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I can't believe you gave me every reason under the sun to return that quirk back to All Might but you somehow forgot to mention the creepy guy who killed all of you."
"In our defense, we thought Eight had killed him."
"Now I am disappointed in All Might. I know he can do better than that."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm a good person. I don't deserve this."
"You're not a good person. But I was in the back room so tell me what he did this time."
"He hugged me."
"You're right. No one deserves this."
"Thank you, Second."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Alright, I am going to ask you a serious question and I expect a serious answer because I am self aware enough to know that I don't have the best sense when it comes to judging what's normal: should I give any credence to Todoroki's powerpoint?"
"..."
"Well, since we have been together for a while and a lot of us have gotten fond of you (you're like that feral cat who keeps trying to bite us and wouldn't hesitate to maul us for quirks treats), I believe we have to tell you the truth-AAAAH"
"Yeah, Ninth, as Hisa... I mean, All for One's little brother, I can confirm that he is creepy with everyone and not to pay any attention to that powerpoint. But if you want to call me Uncle, you can definitely do it."
"Thank you, First."

To this day I am Plagued by this one fucking furby website I saw when I was like. 5. I saw it on my parents PC in the basement in like 2008 or some shit and it had like... one minigame or activity or smth on it and a decently large collection of images of furbies, and it was absolutely captivating to my tiny little brain. I vividly remember there was one picture of a Santa furby pulling a sleigh team of 8 reindeer furbies across someone's basement floor. I printed that fucker out I thought it was so cool. I never found the website again after that first visit and have yet to find any archives of a similar site or even just similar images. I want to say it had a light blue background and maybe like a map or something on it but idk. I don't remember what the game/activity was either. All I remember was the site existing and scrolling thru at least a couple dozen images and that one specific Santa furby picture . It haunts me. Where did they go. Does anyone still have them. What fucking site even was it. Bcuz I don't think it was the official site.
EDITING TO ADD! The exact site was found/shared by furby-junkie :D

Odair’s victory posters are just the start of many capitol photoshoots that the victor has been a part of since his Hunger Games. At just 14, he won the capitol’s hearts, the crown of sweet victory, and made history being the youngest to ever do so. He’s brought pride to his home district for decades to come.
Featured with his trident in the arena attire of the 65th games and in a jaw dropping exceptional blue suit by his ever remarkable stylist, the posters capture the ways in which we have come to know young boy, incredibly skilled and undoubtedly charming.

I have been waiting for this moment Gentry. I came prepared
Anyone AU where Izuku can see/hear/communicate in general with the vestiges while he's awake the moment the quirk sinks in. He did not sign up for a haunted house but it's what he got and spite won't let him quit
1 - Now, if Izuku had known that the quirk he planned to steal was extremely haunted, he definitely would have taken some time for reflection before stealing it. He would have stolen it all the same but he definitely would have hesitated.
2 - The Vestiges, Yoichi included (since this happened a couple of months before the Tartarus break-out) are trying to bring Izuku on the right path and to make him give back the quirk by being extremely annoying. No more personal space. Ghosts talking or singing or interrupting him at any time of the day. Most annoying roommates ever.
3 - While Shouto can't see or hear the Vestiges, he is aware that Izuku is haunted and every time he meets Izuku, he greets the eight ghosts (though Flame Might doesn't have much of a conversation) and the Vestiges are getting along pretty well with him.
4 - Now, a little before Eri got kidnapped, the Vestiges sat down and actually asks Izuku how he is doing to remain so composed and calm despite being haunted by seven ghosts determined to annoy him. Izuku calmly points out that he was bullied for a decade because he was quirkless. Compared to what he went through in Aldera, what the Vestiges are doing is downright cute.
5 - This marks a complete shift with how the Vestiges consider Izuku. It recontextualizes everything they thought they knew about him and now they are worried. Their relationship changes and, ironically, Izuku finds them far more unbearable now that they are preoccupied by his mental health.
+ 1 - The vestiges were ridiculously close to have Izuku give back OFA to All Might but then, AFO ruined everything by demanding the quirk in exchange of another quirk and it triggered Izuku's grumpy dragon instinct and now, he is never letting OFA go.
