I was thinking how Rosalind is the most clear-cut example of fridging in AoS but then I remembered Keller and how I immediately *knew* he would be a goner, so now I have doubts.

okay.

So. I know that they time travel at some point, I'm thinking that's what they've just done, I think the "Time" they had that Jemma keeps referring to is the whole time travelling thing, I think they've been traveling back and forwards in time to fix this, sort of like a try one thing and it goes wrong so try it again situation.
I'm thinking that they have time travelled back to SSR/Sousa era bc I know he is in this at somepoint whether thats one episode or 13 I don't know.
I'm still super confused about where Fitz, Deke, Flint and Piper are + Diaz, but in the scheme of things I could be more lost.

Was just reading some parts of the AoS pilot episode script for reasons when something caught my eye so I immediately played the scene to make sure it was real and it was.
In the first ever scene that introduces a/o mentions Fitzsimmons, before we get to actually see and meet them later in the episode, when Dr. Streiten tells Maria Hill and Coulson that the chosen memebers for the team are medically fit and approved for the job, he also says that "Fitz-Simmons is not clear for combat" - not 'are', 'is'.
I didn't even notice that the first time I watched that episode, 'cause honestly why would I at the time, but looking at it now knowing, it just again reinforces what Coulson put into words so well in the s6ep6 flashback - "Fitz-Simmons, yes. You know, when I first heard about you, I thought you were one person. That's how everyone talks about you.", and idk I guess I just think that's a nice detail

every time i rewatch s2 i just end up crying about jemma, like genuinely the entire time she's only trying to help
like does that mean she did everything right? no. but it's not like she was coming at it from a place of malice or trying to hurt, she was doing what she thought was the best based off of the information she had and she was just constantly shat on for it and everyone acted like she did it on purpose

okay theory time, after episode 5 of Gen V I have 3 thoughts! 1. Gen V is setting up the plot device to kill Homelander (the virus). 2. there's (potentially) a supe with an ability that could cure or immunize against the virus. 3. The main "aspiration to be a true hero" arc might (lazily) end with one of the main 6 sacrificing themselves this season.
1. Is pretty obvious but it could mean more crossovers between the two series (which I'm not super excited for because I actually prefer Gen V's pacing, characters, abilities and diversity more than the Boys).
2. And 3. are kinda the same beats. (And I hope I'm just reading too much doom and gloom into this, but most of my ships have a track record of never surviving the writers room--crossing my fingers for Chenford staying unproblematic in S6 of the Rookie!).
So far, we know Jordan has a "[insufficient] hero complex"; meaning they feel they aren't good enough, deep down. As is evident of their worst fear coming to life in the dream state, where [Fem]Jordan tells [Masc]Jordan they're "a coward" and all they've ever wanted to do is "save one person". Which means they might be put in a position to save the rest of the gang from exposure using their invulnerability and strength. On the bright side, there's also hope that their power allows them to survive exposure to the virus. When they switch, they don't just change genders, but their physiology changes too, (think of it like their DNA being one of those dual-region, double-sided DVDs from the 2000s). Meaning if they were infected and switched genders, they'd change the virus's RNA as they shifted, mutating the virus, and leaving room for a potential cure. But also, that would mean one of their DNA sides would be infected, (like a scratch on one region, making the DVD unplayable) keeping Jordan stuck to one persona--which also caps their ability, since many superhero shows avoid making someone too powerful by giving them a plot-handicap; Quake from AOS breaking her bones early into her terrigenisis arc is a great example, because she can never access her full "earth breaking" ability without her gauntlets on or the risk of fucking up her entire skeleton!
Like I don't think this will happen, but I'm on doom-and-gloom mode rn. I just want my limoreau ship to be happy and queer and safe!
