Hi! I love your writings. I was wondering if you could do Arei Nageishi, Veronika Grebenschikova, and Teruko Tawaki with an Ultimate Occultist S/O?
Here you go! I hope you enjoy!
Arei, Veronika, and Teruko with and ultimate Occultist S/O
Gn! Reader
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
-Ok, she loves you dearly, really! But…
-…She’s gonna bully you for your talent. Creep, weirdo, witch, you’ve heard it all from her. I mean, what did you expect, she’s Arei! Bullying IS her love language
However, she doesn’t mean it maliciously like she doesn’t with others, she just doesn’t know how to communicate without being snarky, she’s so used to protecting herself by pushing others away, and now that she’s in a healthy relationship she doesn’t know how to stop. But she’s working on it!
-Your talent does creep her out a little bit for real, but she won’t tell you that unless you force it out of her. Tough guy persona and all that, also it has nothing to with you as a person she just doesn’t want to get murdered by a demon or something
-Feel free to talk to her about the occult and what you’re currently doing for your talent, as much shit as she gives you for your interests, she likes seeing you talk about your passions. She thinks it’s cute
-Just don’t invite her to do any rituals or anything like that, she may listen to your interests but she’s not gonna mess with the spiritual worlds, uh uh, no way
-As I said, she’ll make fun of you for your talent, but god forbid anyone else tries to do so because she will absolutely obliterate them. Nobody can make fun of you except her.
Tumblr media
-You might as well marry her on the spot because you two are practically soulmates!
-She loves talking to you about all things occult, while her talent may not be specifically occult related, it still plays a big part in horror media as a whole. She knows a whole ton about the occult, but you may need to clarify the difference between what’s actually believed and what media fabricates to be more dramatic
-She’s gonna drag you into watching all sorts of supernatural based horror movies with her, it doesn’t matter how accurate they are, you’re gonna watch it, and you’re going to enjoy it!
-Feel free to invite her to join you while you carry out rituals or go ghost hunting. in fact, she’ll be offended if you don’t! As loud and all over the place she is, she’s pretty good at staying quiet and still during these types of events, both out of respect for you and out of respect for any supernatural beings present
-She’ll try to convince you on occasion to help scare her classmates, it’s funny to her and who else is better to help than someone into the occult?
Tumblr media
-She’s kinda indifferent to your talent honestly
-Like she’s not interested in the occult but she also isn’t scared by it, she hadn’t really given it much thought until she started dating you
-She definitely takes more of an interest in it after she starts dating you though, more because she enjoys hearing you talk about it and less because the actual subject matter
-Just… don’t take her with you when you do your rituals or when you try to talk to the supernatural…and don’t do it near her either. Knowing her luck, you’ll accidentally summon a demon that’ll kill you both if you do
-Other than her potential to put you both in danger, she’s relatively normal about your talent compared to some other people would be. She just sees it part of your personality, she doesn’t see why it freaks others out. Overall, she’s pretty chill about everything

I cannot draw so unfortunately the character model was splice together using Emblem Roy, Emblem Lyn and FEH Alm Hero of Prophecy character art by Arai Teruko (新井テル子). It is also where I got his Ring name from since Celica's is also the same as her FEH unit.
I still do not have Fire Emblem Engage but the ring designs sure are tempting me to get the game just to see their 3d models. I do not know what Emblem title to give him but I did reference windsweep.
FE Echoes SoV was the first Fire Emblem game I played and I really love Alm and Celica. While modeling Celica's ring it felt lonely to not give Alm one as well. I referenced the concept art for SoV to take inspiration for the ring design.

Please do not criticize any art you may not like or compare one art to another in terms of quality, it's unkind and downplays the amount of work that the feh artists put into them. Please treat the feh artists how you would as any other artist - with kindness and with love.
Artists in order: Arai Teruko, Nishiki Areku, Arai Tueruko, Hidari, Tsukkii / INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS

Ok I haven’t been asked about this FEH artist, but given that you all have suggested good artists I have little to no gripes with (minus my gripes with Sencha), there is one artist I want to talk about on my own who I have issues with.
Ryoma Kitada, artist for Summer Caeda and Plumeria.
Look, in the year 2021, FEH was very particular about its quality control for artwork. Which is why sadly a lot of initial artists for FEH didn’t get a chance to prove themselves again: artists like bthx (F!Corrin, which honestly wasn’t even bad artwork, it was just stylized and could have used minor improvement in some fields), Haimura Kiyotaka (Julia and Dierdre), Ito Noizi (Both Tikis) and Ueda Yumehito (F!Robin, Cordelia, Hinata, and Oboro, who had a neat anime-ish style and just needed to improve in like… one or two fields). All the artwork for the game at this point was high quality artwork.
So when I saw Summer Caeda and Plumeria, I was absolutely baffled as to how this artist got hired.
I’m gonna break down each portrait and its issues, so bear with me.
Look at the neutral portrait:
Tumblr media
Immediate issues that can be noted:
-Caeda’s eyes are uneven
-Their noses are just dots with dark shading, makes it look like they have cat noses or something
-The poses are extremely stiff, Caeda just looks like she’s standing on one leg. Usually if artists are drawing floaty poses with bent legs, the characters usually aren’t standing up
-Plumeria has like… no ankles
-Caeda’s left arm just disappears down the bicep (it should be visible just looking from looking at the angle)
-Caeda’s skirt has no flow, this can be seen in their attack portrait too
-The biggest issue I have that clearly shows they held horny in priority over quality: They made Caeda’s boobs super big for some reason???
Bear in mind, Caeda’s been shown to have a smaller chest in official artwork and her Bridal alt:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But in her artwork they show this weird shading and fabric stretch like her tits are supposed to be massive, even though… they’re not???
Moving on…
Attack pose (and by extension crit pose)
Tumblr media
-Caeda has no arm curves.
-WHERE’S PLUMERIA’S RIGHT ARM??
-Plumeria’s left leg has curve and ankle definition but her right leg doesn’t
-Something I just noticed, the girls both had gaping belly buttons in the neutral art but it’s normal in the attack portrait
-Plumeria’s wings are super low on her back
-Also Plumeria has like… no expression change. She doesn’t even look in character.
-She’s not even holding the staff
-Caeda’s skirt looks like stiff plastic
And finally… the damage artwork:
Tumblr media
-Awkward posing
-Suddenly Plumeria’s wings are right back where they’re supposed to be
-Still almost no arm definition on Caeda
-Still bad expressions
-AGAIN. PLUMERIA. WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR RIGHT ARM.
-Plumeria’s left knee is driving straight into Caeda’s ass. Poor expression of depth in this drawing
-The girls suddenly have gaping belly buttons again
-Plumeria still has no ankle definition
Look, I’m not gonna pretend like I’m some great artist. My art is shit. I don’t know how to experiment with different line art tools and techniques to save my life, my coloring is shit, and my posing is stiff as shit. But A) as a consumer and B) given how meticulous FEH has been about its art quality and giving numerous character opportunities to high-quality artists (Kita Senri, Daisuke Izuka, kaya8, PenekoR and so on and so forth) and kicking anyone whose art they think is poor quality (Tell me the last time we saw AKIRA, Aoji, Arai Teruko, Fujikawa Akira, etc. All those artists who maybe barely made it to Book 3 before we stopped seeing their artwork)…
WHAT in their RIGHT MIND made them look at Kitada’s artwork and think, “Oh yeah, this is acceptable quality to match our other Summer entries.” LIKE BRO. YOU’RE TELLING ME IT LOOKS BETTER THAN SUMMER OGMA? YOU’RE TELLING ME IT LOOKS BETTER THAN SUMMER FREYJA? YOU’RE TELLING ME IT LOOKS BETTER THAN SUMMER FREYR?!?!
This artwork probably has to be the shittiest in the series. Try to prove me wrong. Change my mind.

Tatsuo Saito and Sumiko Kurishima in Every-Night Dreams (Mikio Naruse, 1933)
Cast: Sumiko Kurishima, Teruko Kojima, Jun Arai, Tatsuo Saito, Mitsuko Yoshikawa, Reiko Tani, Einosuke Naka, Choko Iida, Tsuruko Kumoi, Teruko Wakamizu. Screenplay: Tadao Ikeda, Mikio Naruse. Cinematography: Suketaro Inokai. Production design: Tatsuo Hamada. Music: Masao Koga.
Yasujiro Ozu's That Night's Wife (1930), Tokyo Chorus (1931), and An Inn in Tokyo (1935) all have plots that center on the illness of a child, as does Mikio Naruse's Every-Night Dreams. In two of the Ozu films, a man commits robbery to get money to pay the child's hospital bills and is sent to jail. The man in Naruse's film also commits a robbery but, wounded and desperate, he commits suicide -- an instance of how much darker in tone Every-Night Dreams is from the Ozu films. It's also different in that the central figure is a woman, rather than the men who seize the focus in the Ozu films. The dominant figure in Every-Night Dreams is Omitsu, played beautifully by Sumiko Kurishima, whom we meet as a single parent, working as a bar hostess to support her small son, Fumio (Teruko Kojima). Soon, however, the boy's father, Mizuhara (Tatsuo Saito), shows up, down and out. She's reluctant to take him back after his earlier abandonment of them, but he's so needy and the boy is so glad to see his father that she gives in. Mizuhara is a weakling in both body and character, however. He searches for work that will allow Omitsu to give up her rather disreputable job -- there's a scene early in the film in which she gets reproachful glares from the passengers on a streetcar -- but he is turned down for factory work because the employer thinks he's not strong enough for it. And then Fumio is struck by an automobile: He survives, but the doctor says he will need extensive therapy to regain the use of a shattered arm. So Mizuhara pulls off a robbery to get the funds, but is wounded by the police in his escape. He brings the money to Omitsu, but she is appalled by what he has done and urges him to turn himself in to the police. He leaves, and the next morning Omitsu learns that he has drowned himself. In a touching final scene, she urges Fumio to grow up strong. Though Naruse is credited in IMDb with 92 titles as director, from short films in 1930 to his last feature in 1967, his reputation in the West has been overshadowed by that of his contemporaries Ozu, Kenji Mizoguchi, and Akira Kurosawa. But Every-Night Dreams displays a fiercely original talent, with a distinct bias toward portraying strong women like Omitsu. In contrast to Ozu, who preferred to work with carefully framed scenes with little camera movement, Naruse favors an active camera -- zooms, pans, dolly shots -- and fast-paced editing: The scene in which Fumio's accident is announced is a series of quick cuts from a toy car rolling off the edge of a table through shots of the boy's playmates running in with the news. He likes narrative foreshadowing: In one scene, a despondent Mizuhara looks out over the harbor as the camera pans from boats and buildings down to the water itself, while in another, Mizuhara urgently signals to Fumio to stay on the other side of a road until a car speeds past and the boy can cross safely. Yet he also allows his actors room to develop their characters: Kurishima builds up our sense of Omitsu's inner strength through her expressions and gestures.
