If you don't have time, or don't know what I'm yapping about, no worries, have a great day! Otherwise, any help? One of them is JiB12 after a code blue, and Misha whispers in his ear, Jensen laughs and pushes him back with his shoulder. The other is similar but older, I think? Misha's kinda smirky, and Jensen pushes his face away jokingly.

Do you think TKB is left or right handed? Or both? I know I should review the manga properly, but I'm having a hard time pinning it down.

The evidence: He tends to do major things with his right hand. I had the first volume of Millennium World next to me, and he's dragging in Akhnamkanon's corpse with his right hand, but gestures with both. In the anime, when Mahaado sacrifices himself, Bakura catches the Ring with his right hand. However, he does gesture with either hand as is convenient. (He gestures a lot.) I'm here thinking of the settei where he's doing victory signs with both hands (which is adorable).

Also, depending on your opinion on whether Yami Bakura is Thief King Bakura or not, YB also does things with his right hand. I'm thinking of when he licks the Eye, he's holding it in his right hand. And in Battle City, slicing open his left arm with his right hand. I think if he were left-handed, he'd have gone for the other arm.

My opinion: A successful thief needs to be, to some extent, ambidextrous. (Here I'm honestly influenced by the Queen's Thief series; Gen points out that he can use thieves' tools just as easily with either hand, but when Shit Gets Real, other characters note that his left-handed handwriting is legible, but shaky.) So I would headcanon Bakura to be basically right-handed with some useful ambidexterity.

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

I can’t really pick any of my oneshots and that knocks out a lot of stuff, so prrrrobably Temporal Displacement, where the plot is ‘fankid gets chucked back in time and has to keep her dad from finding out who she is because he might dissect her if he does’. That’s not counting my first few fics, which were buckwild in the ‘I was 12-14 and just wanted to cram in as much as I possibly could’ way, which involved stuff like Dib electrocuting himself on a rigged cabinet for storing waffles and Sonic dying like three times over the course of a single fic.

I'm finally watching the osakacon23 livestream of misha's panel and it's so special for me - it's so lovely seeing all the support for misha, his smiles as he watches the translation land, but also the camera operator let me see my wife in the front row, and I could hear her cheering, and I'm feeling so so so soft right now and had to tell someoneee

💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?

That broke my heart? There's a few standouts that come to mind, I'll admit. I think the first time I was writing a fic and my heart got scrunkled up was when I was writing Ateb' Men Alezl, when Rishid says:

"Surviving doesn't mean you're broken."

That got me in the feels. As did, A Handful of Water. Rishid brings something very emotional out in me when I write. I don't usually cry when I write, but this one got me tearing up:

Aching, [Malik] stares downwards. "I would give anything to see my mother just once."

Rishid can't even look at him ... For the second time in his life, Malik hears Rishid's voice break, dust-like.

"She is not my mother. My mother is dead." Rishid's hands are curled tight on his knees, head bowed, and shoulders shuddering. "And I would give anything to see one more time. I miss her more than I can stand--" Tears are running down Rishid's face, leaving a pattern down his scars. "I miss her more than I loved her. I miss her more than that, and how can I bear to know that I do." Rishid is falling apart before them. "She is not my mother."

I also have a super achey soft spot for Truths to Tell, though it mostly felt very cathartic to write:

“Because you’re the only one left, you’re… you’re the only one left, and I am never letting this go.”
