[image description: devnotes for Korrilla's line of dialogue: "As things stand, she [Hope]'s his favorite toy. We're all mad here, but Hope in hell! Why, that's the definition of insanity." The devnote says "Complicated feelings. Both jealous of Raphael's attention and sad because she knows her sister doesn't want it."]
[Korrilla saying, in a conversation where you can ask about the diabolist, "I hope things turn out well for you, I really do. Cheers." The note says "sadly - she knows (but we don't) that things won't turn out well at all."]
[Korrilla saying, "This current crisis has him so busy he's barely been home since he met you." The note says "proud of her boss." ]
[Korrilla saying "I'm not for sale. My time's not for sale. My affection's not for sale. I'm here on other business." The note says, "hasn't look up from her mug yet - is muttering darkly, she's clearly said this to a lot of people who've assumed she's a prostitute. (She's standing at the bar of a brothel.)]
[Korrilla saying, in response to Tav saying they'll stop the brain without Raphael's help, "I doubt it, but even if you do, you won't survive the fight." The note says "with a hint of sadness."]
[Korrilla saying "The boss might be a devil, but he'll treat you more honestly than anyone else in the city." The note says "she genuinely believes this."]
[In response to the player character asking whether she likes working for Raphael, Korrilla responds "More than anything. My old dwarven master used to beat me and feed me scraps -- Raphael treats me right and feeds me well. Better to feast in the Hells than go begging in the Heavens."]
Korrilla's devnotes casually murdering me.

Kiss Me in Komorebi+ 🌸
Free ⛅️ Morning!
Trouble in paradise? 👀 With our first spot of jealousy comes an interesting development: poor Daniel keeps getting whims about Daithí, but Dai is having none of it after seeing him flirt with Maxwell! It seems like for all the time our Bachelor devoted to considering the reality of this Challenge, he didn’t realize how hard this was really going to be!

My toxic trait is that I really like lil' jealousy outbursts in media.

*obama voice* let me be clear I absolutely do not want to read dungeon meshi not because I think I won’t like it but because I know it’s going to be very good and I’m going to like it a lot and it’s going to make me sad about my own work

I was reading the 1987 Speed Racer comics last week, for reasons, and there’s this one-off villain introduced in a random issue:
she’s a submarine scientist from MIT
catalyzes as a klagen after her submarine prototype is destroyed in an earthquake (or neid after her department drops her and husband divorces her for being too into submarines, @topquarkintown‘s probably more justified theory)
discovers the ruins of atlantis
instead of telling anyone, sells all the artifacts she finds for more submarine money
runs out of submarine money again (submarines are expensive)
starts sinking cargo ships, killing whoever’s on board, and selling their cargo instead
justified because Girl Power
her villainy is kidnapping speed and his girlfriend to get him to show her how to make cars, because she just realized she might need to run from the government on land, and she only knows how to build submarines
anyway, i love her and had to draw her. most of the comics were ok, but issue #7 is a work of art and I highly recommend it.

goofy floating in the pool.gif thinking about what you can read into gabriel and miguel’s differing responses to lashing out and anger. does the poison drip through, if you're raised with an angry man in your house, there will always be an angry man in your house. you will find him even when he is not there etc etc

This one is written in a less universal way because it is me talking to myself. And it was inspired by an exciting new book I'm collaborating with Evita Sawyers on, exploring the nuances of hard emotions. We will be sharing little tidbits of our generative process on the way there, but if you want to follow more in-depth behind the scenes (and/or just support us while we're working on this project), here's our Patreon pages:

Paloma went out of her way to find clips of her time in the house for her little Instagram post but conveniently didn’t find any of the clips of her behavior and comments about, and isolating, Taylor from literally day one?
