• hobonichi weeks mega (tasks, appointments, and personal diary in the back where i can vent freely)

• b6 stalogy in my old foxyfix rowan cover (project notes, ideas, etc. mainly writing focused)

• pocket moleskine in a pocket tn cover (cover varies, but this will be my commonplace and messy space to work with special interests and hyperfixations, basically my creative journal and pocket brain minus tasks/schedules. also to doodle in on the go)

i don’t usually like having things in more than one place but weirdly i feel happy with this separation.

On Planners: The end... and the beginning

I started my Stalogy B6 ($21.60) in October of 2022. The advantage of setting up a planning system that is based on Bullet Journal/Commonplace Book/Freestyle is that you can start and end whenever the mood strikes. My Bullet Journal

Since I was a kid I always liked planners and journals, I had several and I was obsessed with them.

Years passed and I ended up putting aside my hobby until in 2016 I got a calendar from my ex-boss and started learning more about organization and bullet journaling through Pinterest.

BUJO has been a rage since 2016 and I had my first BUJO in 2017.

Today I'm going to talk a little about my BUJO trajectory and show some of my layouts.

When I started BUJO in 2017 I made several trackers and just put tasks, I was doing it that way until September 2020 where I started to do in addition to tasks a little diary in topic.

Since then I went through several types of Planners, I started using just one notebook, then I went to A6 Traveler's Notebook, then to the Ring Planners always in B6 size.

I followed this way until 2021 when I started my Pocket Rings and followed the Kim'sPaperPlan organization method (currently she deleted the YT videos). At first I was the one who did my own inserts, but when I got my first Moterm Pocket Rings I started to buy Peanuts Planner Co Inserts.

Soon got tired of the ring system and in May 2022 I decided to go back to the A6 TN and although I loved the size the TN I had bought was too small and didn't fit everything I needed.

Than I decided that I would start a BUJO on an A6 Stalogy and that it would stay on the new big A6 TN that I bought.

Nowadays my BUJO is a mixture of journal and planner. I do my weekly planning and daily I do the daily journal. This way has been much better and more enjoyable for me.

Este 2023 empecé con pocos proyectos porque no quiero volver a sufrir el estrés del 2022.

Sin embargo siento dudas sobre la elección de los planners que hice.

Arriba está la agenda de cartera, al medio mi diario de agradecimientos - un Stalogy B6- y abajo de todo la agenda de escritorio grande que suelo usar para lo laboral.

Siento que si no decido ya un método, voy a estar todo este año maldiciendo el planificar 😞

being in my head is exhausting and dumb.

I bought a notebook/cover for my Wasting Time with Rabbits Series plotting. It's like- the perfect color, it has pockets on the front to hold a lil notepad and a pen and even like- index cards. Here's the issue:

It's meant to be A5 size.

It is too small for my A5 Stalogy notebook (Which is what I planned on doing the plotting in)

It does fit a B6 Stalogy just fine... but then there's like extra space because it's taller than the B6

Now I'm struggling to figure out if that bothers me enough that I will use a different cover- or if I'll grab a b6 stalogy to use for plotting (Neither of these options involve me buying anything else, I think. I know I have a cover that I know fits an A5, and fits the Rabbits vibe, and I am pretty sure I have B6 stalogys at home that are unused or barely used)

EVERYTHING. IS. OVERWHELMING. anyone else in a planner funk? 🙋🏻‍♀️ . Hobonichi Cousin - Loved it at the start. But i've learnt, journaling is not for me. There's just too much empty space for my liking. . Personal rings - Love this size planner. But trying to work out what inserts to use, then having to print them and all that jazz can just be too much. . B6 Stalogy - Love the size, loved it at the beginning. But i think it's the blank pages, the not knowing how to set up monthly, weeks, days - it's the trial & error that's scary. .
