Lil personal post

Hey! I often try to avoid self-referential infodumps or talking about myself, preferring fandom and enjoying theories and creative endeavors for both my own sanity and cause people enjoy that kind of stuff. If other people find something I do funny or interesting or cool it makes my day more than most things, and that's why I love Tumblr sm. I love community and working together, but I thought maybe this could be a good idea since it's been weighing on me.

My family got hit really hard with the prices going up. Due to a lot of issues, I stopped going to school for a semester, which meant I lost out on a lot of benefits. Around the same time, my mother lost her job and became unable to work, meaning that income and insurance was gone. So, we've taken to having to live paycheck-to-paycheck for the first time in a long time.

So I thought I'd give this a try. Cause I've seen others do it, and anything helps right now. Here's a link to my Ko-fi if you'd like/have the ability to help. It's currently empty, but I hope to put up some art/writing comms in the near future once I get a bit more into the swing of things.

Alternatively, I'm hoping to get back into Twitch by streaming more regularly with writing, drawing, and gaming streams in the near future. Might do that sometime this weekend, but we will see.

If you can help in any way (whether by donating, following the twitch, or just by sharing this post) I would appreciate it. I'm hoping to write more over the next few weeks, both with something new for my Fanders and something continuing for my JRWI peeps (both of which can be found here), but anything would help right now.

Every frickin day of my life I mourn the fact that Luzu wasn't able to consistently log onto the QSMP. I mourn the friendships he could've built with people from Day 1, the changes to the story that would've come from it, and I mourn the fact that most fans don't know how insanely good Luzu is at roleplaying, and creating fascinating yet tragic stories.

I talk a lot about how different fanon!Helia is from canon!Helia but not enough but how bad it is for all the characters.

Like you have Riven going from this insecure teenage boy who lashes out at anyone who challenges him to this suave bad boy who could kill the winx. People seeing Stella as a stuck up brat, thinking that she loves Bloom more than the other winx, or that she would ever choose to be selfish in ways that hurt the other characters. Actually wait I'm not done why does the fandom always jump to giving Male Characters Super Sad Backstories to explore in fics, videos, etc That canon never even hints to while BA who actually has a tragic backstory never gets explored. Like what if I start saying BA comes from a broken household and her neglectful family was another reason why shes so hostile and struggles to take help. What if I dont wanna give Wasp or Sentinel super sad backstories to make their actions seem more sympathetic,, what if I make their backstories being rich entitled assholes who think they're better than everyone else bc thats what we see manifest in canon.
