my fic idea is finally working!! i have my opener. my tav no longer annoys me as a perspective character (gave him just enough insight to let the reader know what is really happening between him and astarion, while still having him catastrophically fail to understand how traumatized the both of them are). the opening scene's first draft is embarassingly rough and i love it, it was fun to finally get it all down!! i will edit later i am in the plotting zone.

i picked an apartment (NOT the church remodel one lmao) and signed my lease and i have a car now so most of what was stressing me out this month is now wrapped up, which explains why my body decided i had Done Enough and gave me a head cold to force me to rest in bed.

Joel Miller does not look like the man who owns that small, cozy, sweet bookshop on the corner. He's tall and broad and has a resting face that could scare a small child but he the store belonged to his mother. He was a good handyman and eventually helped remodel the whole store before she passed.

He just couldn't sell it so he took it over and with the help of Sarah it became a perfect spot for college students and introverts. He liked it that way. He despised rowdy teenagers and didn't have an issue kicking them out if he thought they disturbed the peace. The customer is not always right in Joel's world and he isn't great at faking a smile.

Don't even get me started on the women who come in just to flirt with him. They'll come up to him and ask for help reaching a book or for a recommendation and Joel is kinda clueless or not interested in their advances.

Okay but I'm thinking a total meet cute where you run into him and he accidently spills his coffee all over you and your newly bought book. He feels awful but you are a little too entranced by the incredibly handsome man trying to pat down your shirt in the least awkward way possible. He offers to pay for dry cleaning but you wave him off, though you kick yourself in the shin for not even getting his name.

Fast forward to a few days later and you walk into this small bookstore your friend told you about that was owned by "The hottest guy" she has ever seen and just your luck. It's the handsome guy who spilled his drink.

okay so for the new season I have an Idea/AU/Headcanons/Thing:

These two are not Dizzy and Jett, but instead they're their siblings. Left is 'Dazey', right is 'Flash' (ty to @stormvanari for this ideaaaa). They look very similar to Dizzy and Jett themselves, they may look like twins with them but they're younger. Idc

Since I made 'Dazey' and 'Flash' seperate from the first SWs...and Marty, Lucie, Traver, Sally...and no Astra either even though this is a space season (but I don't think Donnie is gonna appear either, because I don't think they kept his name and I think Marty is not a mechanic/inventor character like Donnie either)...all of the SWs are now back at the Airport. Although Dizzy, Donnie, Jerome, Mira, etc. are all back in their respective bases shown in season 2 (shown below). Their old hangars (shown in season 1) are remodeled and given to characters who directly debuted in the Aircraft (like Crystal, Bucky, Sunny, etc.).

Continuing the above headcanon, they now do freelance work. They are still signed under the World Airport/craft but they are not *actively* working there anymore. But they do jobs for them time to time!

Although they are all chilling now mostly (specifically the main 6 aka Jett, Dizzy, Donnie, Jerome, Astra, and Paul). Even if their perspective on 'chilling' differs. (For example Donnie likes to lay down, maybe tinker with some small device. Jett does airshows. Jerome sleeps a lot and maybe hang out with Donnie sometimes. Dizzy goes to hiking. Paul solves cases. Astra loves to experiment on random stuff and now that shes back in her base at space she can blow up things with them without hurting anyone heheheheh)

Now I do think that...and the characters are all seperate in the new season for me...the events in the movie happened. Even if in the canon the movie probably takes place in a different universe, in this AU/headcanon/thing the movie DID happened. They had a different Super Charge. The reason I write this bc the SWs all realized they needed a vacation after all that.

All of the SWs, except for Tino, stayed back. Tino wanted to experience space after all the years of being frozen. Also he was very excited to see 'Tera' again (hc they were friends but they got seperated)

Rover is, well, Rover. He appeared in every season.

on the custom design app, you make a few designs for jake that are a copy of the t-shirts he owns in real life and he loves it so so much.

you don’t think there’s anyone else in the world who uses the nookphone camera app as much as jake. when you finally get your favorite villager on your island, he wants a picture of you 3 together. when you gift him clothing that matches the outfit your character has on, jake quickly puts it on his character so he can get a cute photo. when you’re giving him a tour of your remodeled island, he insists on taking a picture of you in front of your pretty garden of cross-pollinated flowers.

jake is a bit of a history nerd and this extends to art history. when redd visits your island, jake is always happy to help you choose the real artwork. he never has to look it up and it impresses you every single time.

with jake’s military background and line of work, he’s used to living and doing tasks by a schedule. he has a sleep schedule and doesn’t oversleep. lounging in bed is different; he has no problem with that, especially if it’s next to you. jake feels comfort from your presence under the warm sheets, even if you’re still asleep. very rarely does he go past a certain number of hours a night. so on sunday mornings when he’s awake and you keep drifting in and out of sleep, he grabs your switch to help you buy turnips from daisy mae while he cuddles you.
