So I've been thinking about my best boy Fubuki a lot (as usual-) and I have decided to come up with a list of headcanons that have been stuck on my head and yay content-

• Extremly good swimmer. He has competed in several swimming competitions and gotten a high score in each of them.

• Did not want to be the captain of the Beyclub, and actually proposed Suoh should've been, but then the Aoi twins asked him to do it, and he felt kinda obliged to-

• Bookworm, just won't accept it. He's a complete sucker for mystery and investigation, and has read several romance novels.

• Likes sitcoms, just in general, rom-coms and everything; it's his first option in a Saturday movie night.

• Literally no instincts of self-preservation. Like, actually just none.

• Speaks several languages, although he's only mastered in two: Japanese and English.

• On that note, he's also studied Spanish, Italian and a little bit of French.

• A sucker for Greek mythology. His favourite hero is Odysseus, and his favourite Godess is Athena.

• Big fan of AJR, Mother Mother, Aerosmith and Queen.

• Practiced boxing a couple times when he was younger, but didn't really lead anywhere and he got bored of it.

• Daily calls literally anyone. Before their fight, it was mostly Suoh, but after that, Shu became his first contact.

• Also definitely not found brothers with Shu. No. Nope. Nu-uh. Not in the slightest... but yes, found brothers with Shu.

• LOVES videogames. His favorites are The Last of Us I, Resident Evil and Little Nightmares.

• Will destroy you if you dare to call him 'Buki, unless you are his dad, Shu, or the Aoi twins.

did i re-analyze beyblade with my over-complication-ness? yes. I don't know how to stress this enough but Phi is the best villain burst has ever had, and it's pretty obvious why. (without doing illegal activities btw.... theadore... im looking at u.)

To start off, i LOVED phi's character so fucking much !! he's just so?? GODD his pathetic NEED to rule over a silly game and gain powers as if he'll die is so poetically pathetic. it's beautiful.

Phi is definitely not a "complicated" character since everything about him is already set in stone, it's pretty bland and boring since he was just portrayed as "the guy who wanted to rule the beyblading world" but it isn't his goal that made him interesting, it was the way he did it AND his thought process.

He's a terrible person, abusing his brother for years only to leave him in the end, cutting all contact without any explanation and then just coming back?? oh, not to mention he definitely has scarred many of the characters throughout the series and thought absolutely nothing of it.

It's the way they didn't even write him feeling mass guilt and/or apologizing at all is such a reckless take for his character by the authors but honestly.... him silently (emphasis on silent) realizing that what he was doing was silly and that he wanted a change was the BEST route they could've gotten for him, honestly.

It really shows how his character is so disconnected to the world and that he just simply doesn't care about what other people think of his actions. it's selfish, it's terrible, it's on-character.

it really makes me think that his actions and blunt disconnection is some sort of parallel to the fact he's described as "other-worldly" (by various characters) in an "ET" way.

Anyways, here's a doodle of him.... my favorite motherfucker <33 WHO DESERVES SOOO MUCH MORE ATTENTION IN THIS DEAD FANDOM.

When Fubuki explains Aiger and Ranjiro that Shu motivated him to actually join the Bey Cruiser, the conversation was way more emotional in the Japanese dub.

In the other dubs I've seen, Fubuki asks Shu if he can, or has any possibility of successiding at the cruiser, but in the Japanese dub, he asks Shu is he DESERVES to, and he asks him what he wants to do and I find that wholesome af
