in disney and theres a dad wearing their baby on his chest so she’ll nap and shes in a little snow white dress (she cant be older than 6 months) and im sobbing at the thought of dad matty and girlie

lyla on tour!! the day at disney has been in the calendar for a free day on tour since before you even got pregnant (for baby hann's bday celebrations!!), and lyla's old enough and settled enough that you feel like taking her is a nice idea; matty's convinced she'll enjoy it, because she giggles and splashes water everywhere while he sings songs from the little mermaid and moana to her during bathtime lol (he catches you doing the part of your world "ah-ah-ah-ah" one time you're doing bathtime and pesters you about bv's on a 75 track for 3 hours straight lmao). the snow white dress she wears is actually a hand-me-down from the macs - it was eilidh's, and when lyla was born she very sweetly gave it to her as a present and matty got all emo about the babas sharing clothes the way the boys did/do lmao. anyway, lyla's wearing it the day you go to disney, while matty's got his mickey mouse t-shirt on (you keep getting distracted by his arms) and you're wearing a nightmare before christmas t-shirt that matty ribs you for keeping from your teenage emo phase lol; literally, he's got lyla in the baby bjorn on his chest while you queue for it's a small world like "did you know mummy was a goth? a hot one, i assume, but a goth nonetheless. listening to proper screamo blaaaaaaaah music" (you're like "lyla actually that was daddy and his system of a down phase, not me and my paramore albums, thank you very much"), and she finds his impression so funny that he has to do it until you're on the ride itself and she gets distracted lol. but it's a cute day - adam takes lyla so you and matty can go on a couple of rides together (pirates of the caribbean, and the radiator springs racers one lol), and baby hann has so much fun. all the kids do, actually, although it proper tires them out (despite lyla falling asleep on daddy's chest while you wandered around animal kingdom); you get an adorable pic of them all sleeping in the minibus on the way back to the hotel, eilidh and baby hann half-draped over keir and lyla's carseats, and you also get a cute one of matty sleeping on you on the drive back. just a lovely chill (for disney, that is) little day <3
