I can't tell how much I want to scream when I saw Soulframe's gameplay during Tennocon 2023. I heard it was inspired by Princess Mononoke and I immediately notices the resemblance of themes or inspiration parallels between the game and the movie.

Torment Stag's form is similar to the Forest Spirit turning into the Nightwalker

There are more obvious references like the protag has a wolf mount just like San, how the use of metalworking or iron corrupts the land, etc. I also see TVTropes have already been put out for Soulframe but I haven't seen anyone mentioning Princess Mononoke being part of the reference or inspiration.
