Bonne Chance: A Preview

So excited that preorders have now opened for the @ml-fashionzine ! I was lucky enough to contribute a couple of interviews alongside some incredibly talented artists and writers! Here’s a short preview of one of the interviews:

Bonne Chance: We interviewed the lead designer, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, about the process and she was very complimentary of you and your contributions to the line.

Adrien Agreste: Marinette is one of the most intelligent and talented designers I’ve ever met, she’s such a fantastic person to work with, we all feel very lucky to have her. I’ve known her for several years, but she still manages to surprise and awe me. BC: It sounds like you have more than a working relationship. AA: We grew into adults together and I think that breeds some of the strongest friendships. I can’t imagine my life without her. BC: That’s a very tender sentiment. When we spoke about you to Mlle. Dupain-Cheng, she also spoke highly of your friendship. Clearly, you value each other greatly. AA: We definitely do. BC: We did notice a bit of a blush when we talked about you, it was very endearing. AA: She blushed? BC: She did. BC: Do you have anything you want to say on the subject? [Long pause]

AA: She has a really lovely blush.

What is ML Fashion Zine, I can see loads of people saying it's going to be great but I'm not sure what it is?

Hi there! Wow, first, I’m really glad to hear that! (haha) And I can totally explain a little more! I’ll try to be super general so I don’t miss anything important. For the basics of what a fandom zine is, it’s essentially a collection of fanart and/or written fan works in one book, often with some merch associated with its theme, based around a property. Basically, this particular zine is a collection of art and writing based on Miraculous Ladybug with a theme surrounding fashion, and styled like a fashion magazine. We also have some merch, including sticker sheets, postcards, and charms, which you can find out more about on our pre-order post. Since this is styled like a fashion magazine, it’ll be a little bit different from our previous project, Leap of Faith: A @ladrienzine which had a ship theme (ladrien) rather than a fashion theme. Where we had fics in that zine, Bonnes Chances will feature slightly different works like interviews and articles. You can peruse the previews we’ll be reblogging during the pre-order period for a sneak peak of the works, but I won’t give away everything! ;D I hope that cleared things up!
