how would the LIs treat their partner that just never seem to think they're good enough? You know like the type of person who always apologise in any situation no matter who's at fault, they don't like talking about themself and always say "oh there's nothing interesting about me", the kind that always put themself last beneath everybody else?

Quest: handles it in a quiet, non-direct way. Will just smile and chuckle whenever you say things like that, then go out of his way later to point out something he finds incredible about you. Maybe it's the speed that you found an image source online. Maybe it's the way you feel when he pulls you against his body. Maybe it's just the way your smile brings out a smile in him every time he sees it. And, slowly but surely, you start to say those things less and less without realizing it.

Xyx: similar to Quest, in the way that he's not eager to cross boundaries and confront you on things you may be self-conscious about. When you apologize too much or unnecessarily, he'll shake his head and say something like "No need for that." and quickly move on before either of you can dwell on it. Or, maybe if you're self-disparaging, maybe he'll crack a loud joke about something silly about you that makes you both laugh to make you feel better. He's not the best with this sort of stuff, but he is trying.

Nakedtoaster: tells you directly each time that that is not true, or that you don't need to apologize. It's important to them that you see yourself exactly how they see you -- i.e., they want you to understand how important and incredible you are. They follow up with meticulous examples each time of why you aren't at fault/why you're actually pretty neat, and sometimes his insistence can be a bit embarrassing. But you're never upset by it. It does make you feel a bit better each time.

Nightowl: profusely compliments you each time it happens. It's sort of like toaster, but turned up to 11. "What are you talking about??" His incredulous look has no sarcasm behind it, and always leads into an onslaught of incredibly nice things to say about you. If you attempt to cover his mouth with your hands, he'll talk loudly through them. Nothing can stop this compliment train.

are you really Australian? As an Aussie who's heard your voice clips you sound very incredibly American for someone who "grew up in the outback". Plus even the worst eshays and truckies I know don't use that much slang. Just wondering.

Yes, I've explained it here before (if you're gonna hang shit on me at least root around the blog a little, it's in my pinned post) but my accent is fucked. I was born in the US, my parents brought me to Australia when I was 2, and I maintained an Australian accent up until I was 15 when my parents brought me back to the States. I went mute at this time and it took a year of speech therapy for me to start speaking again. My speech therapist was from Texas, which is why I have a Texan accent. By the time I was 18 and returned to Australia in April of 2019, the accent had already solidified into the American accent.

Apparently the concussion rung my bell enough to lightly fix some of it and I've got some sort of accent back now, but this isn't expected to stay for long and at random intervals it switches back to American for single words. This seems to be happening more with R-sounds ("water" will come out "wah-TER" instead of "wah-tuh").

I didn't grow up in the Outback, I grew up in Undoolya. That's about 5km east of Alice Springs. Not all that rural, about a 5min drive from town. Plus side, there were only old folks around me who were too stubborn to move further into town, so all I really knew was my neighbours. Downside, I had no friends growing up so all I knew of slang was shit repeated to me by 80yro people. That said I've learnt a lot in my travels and yeah, I play it up on the blog. Part of the charm! :]

Additionally: I saw the bit that was being said in the server about crossing the Nullarbor. IMO the journey starts at Balladonia WA and ends in Yalata SA. That's an approximately 8hr drive, and I stock up on petrol at BP in Balladonia before getting back onto the 90 Mile. Downside is that driving at night means there's animals about, plus side is that there's very very few people on the track. Total driving time usually takes about 8.5-9hr if you count the stopping to refill Matilda's tank and depending on how often I have to stop for other reasons (letting Matilda's engine cool or letting animals cross the road).

Additionally x2: yes it snows in WA. Bluff Knoll is the most popular spot, but during winter the Outback drops below freezing at night and if you're lucky enough to get rain, you might get a very light and crunchy blanket of snow if you wake up before the sun does. It melts within the hour of the sun rising. Luckily I usually wake up before the sun does. This only happened once, at the start of July.

And no, I don't go around molesting roos (and especially not punching them). I used to go around shooting roos, when I was a roo shooter, but I stopped that job after a year because the money just wasn't in it, and I didn't care for the methods my fellow shooters had for dispatching joeys and young at foot. I've only had to straight-arm a roo once--at a park where they were used to being fed by people. I have however had food stolen by kookas. They're very fond of pork jerky while it's air-drying.

Do you have any tips for getting 5 stars and their secret outfits in events? I saw you did it for Hot Limit and I want to do it for Aridane, so I've been saving up dia (I'm around 11k, but I have lots of stories to read through that I'm gonna read/skip through before hand) and trying to raise sparkle/red cards (unfortunately that's my worst attribute on the en server), but idk how much you need to do per day (and how much dia/whistles you'll be using) to get all 5 copies of the 5 star so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, completely unrelated but do you think any of the Crazy:B members wear crocs?

ok before the bulk of the rest of the ask i think rinne niki and kohaku would wear crocs BUT himeru would not be caught dead in them. maybe at home when he knows nobody else would see or know but i think he'd be mortified if someone saw him

usually the "minimum" for 22m (scr) is around 95k dia ;w; this accounts for 10 ten pulls (35k) and the remaining 60k would go towards bp regen. when you're 22ming the minimum event bonus from the event scout you'll need is around 60% — if you get really lucky and get more than that before you're done with the 10 pulls, i honestly suggest just stopping and dropping the rest on bp unless you love the event scout card or whatever

dia consumption per day can vary depending on your overall event bonus, whether you use passes or not, etc etc. if you're going for 22m i think it can literally go from 4-12k depending on how lucky you were with the event scout, whether you use event passes or not that day, etc.

here's a very useful resource to kind of brace yourself for when you're planning to have big milestones in events, remember that bc its for JP server it's a little less optimistic since it doesnt account for engstars qol, and that whatever dia value it says you need for that amount you need to multiply it by 10.

here's a more comprehensive (not really) account of my hot limit experience. i talk a little about the whistle pack as well which i think on eng is an absolute necessity if you're running 22m so you dont go crazy. qol my beloved

i think the above link covers most of the experience but if there's anything else you particularly need help with i'm always down to answer questions. however being realistic i think with 11k dia it might be a bit difficult to go this far unless you can grind most song to s+, do starries every day, grind for event dias, read all of the stories you can in the time given and/or are willing to spend money on such short notice 🥲

The best way to prepare for an event is to save at least 10,000 (English) Dia! On the JPN server, 1,000 Dia. That, along with any dia you get as event rewards will help you achieve the 5☆ card if you play when your BP fills, or soon after! You may need more or less depending on your teams' strength, and rewards given during the event such as 100x Whistles can reduce that require Dia to 8,000 Dia! Do you know if you get locked out of any content with the Indigo Disk DLC due to not having Switch Online? (Excluding Other versions legendaries because i dont care) I assume by what you and others talk you would only be able to do Solo Quests, but do they hit a cap?

Okay, so. Apparently the answer is yes, but not because of that.

See, the quests don't cap, they'll cycle forever. So there's plenty of stuff, and you won't run out of BP opportunities.

But. It turns out some of the legendary Pokemon are group quest only. Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma are all listed as Group Quest exclusive per Serebii, and near as I can tell, this does not refer to just needing both of the other box legends in their trio to have access; it is pure online multiplayer only. So yes, it turns out that this $35 DLC also has additional content locked behind a $20 paywall to access internet connection from the service that uses local internet and not company servers, AND has time-limited access events for mythic legends again for no Christfucking reason, both of which are missable content for those without internet/who miss the time frame, and we're well past the point someone should be strung up by their thumbs and beaten with sticks.
