Babygate - A Repeated History

Disclaimer - I do not give a fuck about Woody Allen. I do not care about his image, his allegations, his cases or anything else. I am just covering up the topic of him being a biological father. So DO NOT ask me about anything else.

Note - The term fake fatherhood has never been used before and it will never ever be used even in the future, because this is something that happens behind closed doors and it never comes out in public. Even when fake pregnancies and fake parenthood is revealed, they just manipulate the story calling the parents or the child victim of circumstances and they end it by providing the true DNA test publicly.

Most of the people outside Larry fandom refuse to believe that fake fatherhood or fake pregnancies are real. To everyone else out there this is an extreme reach where we think that someone can fake fatherhood. People do not realise that Hollywood is a shithole and it's very easy to lie about pregnancies, DNA test, birth certificates, etc. Louis's situation is very very different from Woody Allen's but both have faked fatherhood for years. Here's what happened with Woody Allen-

Woody Allen met Mia Farrow in 1979, they began publicly dating in 1980.

In 1987 their family expanded and Mia Furrow gave birth to their son Ronan Furrow. In 1992 they split up. Nobody questions the fact that Mia Farrow is Ronan’s biological mother.

Woody Allen’s paternity of Ronan was never publicly questioned in the press at the time, and he raised him under the presumption that he was in fact the father. Thus he became Ronan’s legal father in the eyes of the law, regardless of what the factual truth might be. Woody Allen fathered Ronan. Paid child support for him for his whole childhood, legally Allen was Ronan's father.

However, as Ronan grew into adulthood, more and more people came to suspect that Farrow’s ex-husband, Frank Sinatra, might have been the true biological father — including Allen himself.

Then in 2013 Mia Furrow mother of Ronan suddenly revealed in a Vanity Fair interview that Woody Allen might not be Ronan's real father and Frank Sinatra, Mia's first husband might "possibly" be her son's real father despite Woody Allen’s name on birth certificate. (Sounds Familiar? )

That is, the mother revealed after whole 26 years that the real father of her son can possibly be someone else and this whole time Woody Allen was playing the father of Ronan, he fathered him, legally, he paid his full child support. But at the end it turned out that Woody Allen is not even the real father of the kid.

There is suspicion even with regards to the birth certificate of Ronan. Allen was there for Farrow’s caesarian delivery of their son. But when he saw Satchel’s birth certificate, he was shocked again: His name, according to sources, was missing. “The doctors and nurses just forgot,” Farrow told him. Allen had to hire lawyers to put it on.

Now this case can be taken as by keeping Woody Allen in the positive light and saying that Mia cheated on him and she herself said that she and Sinatra never really broke up, hence poor Allen was betrayed and had no idea that he was being framed for fake fatherhood by Mia. And she wanted to hide her own infidelity.

But knowing that Woody Allen is a piece of shit and by keeping all the circumstances in mind it can be very easily said that all this drama of fatherhood was actually planned and had been fake since the very start.

It should also be noted that, despite being married three different times, over a combined span of over 30 years (comprising more than a third of his life), Allen has never managed to impregnate any of his wives. So it's totally possible that Allen knew this whole time that he was not the real father of this kid but he played along to hide his infertility.

And when Mia Furrow revealed that Allen might not be the real father, everyone gave such a mild response as if they knew it all along and it's no big deal.

Mia just dropped the news in 2013 in a Vanity Fair interview.

Ronan joked about it on twitter saying “Listen we’re all *possibly* Frank Sinatra’s son.”

Ronan was also asked about this on national TV “Now, what do you think your father would think about what you’re doing now?” 

And he answered, laughing. “I didn’t want to give you the soundbite of ‘Which one?'” 

And Allen said “In my opinion, he’s my child, I think he is, but I wouldn’t bet my life on it. I paid child support for him for his whole childhood, and I don’t think that’s very fair if he’s not mine.”

People started talking about  The Frank Sinatra Paternity Theory, public started analyzing photos of Ronan with both Allen and Sinatra, and they realised that he resembles Sinatra a lot. People even started analyzing Mia's pregnancy timeline (how ridiculous this is because this was happening after 26 years of her pregnancy). Even Sinatra's family drew a pregnancy timeline of Mia. And it became public knowledge that Allen's name was missing from the original birth certificate because Mia  was taking a host of steps to prevent his status as Woody Allen being the acknowledged father. And media started questioning both Sinatra family and Ronan that if Frank was secretly fathering him this whole time.

Ronan has always been super close to Sinatra's family. They said "He is a big part of us, and we are blessed to have him in our lives. We are family and will always be.”

Larry King said ‘This is Frank Sinatra’s son . . . He has a Frank Sinatra appeal, so it’s possible. Frank was always close to Mia. He stood up for her when the Woody Allen (divorce) happened. Frank stood up for you.”

Then one must consider the fact that Ronan has never submitted to a paternity test to discover the truth, nor has he ever been encouraged to do so by his mother.

The fact remains that neither side offers evidence that is fully conclusive, and all sides have reason to lie or obscure the truth out of pride, spite or embarrassment.

Unless and until Ronan Farrow decides to take a paternity test, we may never know the true answer. Neither Allen nor Ronan wants any kind of DNA test and Frank is already dead. They all are comfortable in their own places even after this whole fake fatherhood scandal.

Despite any suspicions Allen may have had from the start, all indications were that he was a loving father to Ronan and fully supported him financially.

This case itself reveals that it's so fucking easy to fake everything. When it comes to people at powerful positions who can do ANYTHING to make things convenient according to what they want, nothing is impossible. Call it a paternity scandal or another example of fake fatherhood, but this case shows that how celebs can fool people so easily.

The concept of fake baby became a joke after this. Like Katy Perry literally joked about her management suggesting her to have a fake baby.

“My management told me I should have a fake baby to increase the publicity and have more followers… This is Bella, sponsored by Fit Tea.”

The joke is lost on management here. But nothing can beat the reality. Here is how common it is for celebrities to fake pregnancies

The case of Louis is slightly different from the above mentioned cases. He's not doing it for hiding his infertility or for PR but rather this has been forced on him to hide his sexuality and for several other reasons that we already know. He has pissed off a lot of powerful people and this will definitely end one day but even then no one will fully accept that this was a case of fake fatherhood. They will just throw a DNA test one day because they have made it pretty clear since the very start that Louis never had any paternity test. HE DOES NOT NEED ONE. He TRUST Briana who he barely knew well to had a baby with and who defrauded her sugar daddy, which we famously know as boobiegate.

Closeting tactics are nothing but pre experimented strategies. It just depends which scenario they see fit to apply it again with slight variations.

Let’s hear your thoughts about the doc and the stunts. I’d like to hear them.

Heyyyy, I was waiting until we got a first impression from it to post this (but I’ll make a more detailed one after I’ve seen it myself)

We have now confirmed that the only Freddie scenes in it seem to be from when we got the more recent Public push onwards, which is expected but only corroborates to the fakeness of it all (are you telling me you don’t have a single video of your child’s first 4 years??? Like, how is this believable?)

So, for whatever reason, we seem to have a clear timeline of events:

January 2020 - Louis releases his first solo album, dedicating it to his son that we have seen very little in the past years (he didn’t even know what Freddie was wearing on Halloween or what he’d wore on previous years). He also gets caught lying about spending F’s bday with him

Very soon after the pandemic hit and we know they weren’t together as Louis was quarantining in the UK and Freddie was with his fam in LA

It is during this that we see the Clarks mess up the first time (which I believe led louis to take on a more active role in BBG)

1. Briana literally set herself on fire during a livestream, claiming that Freddie was sleeping in the same house, which of course tabloids picked up on quickly, but Louis didn’t comment on it and things remained the same.

Late 2020 we got one bigger misstep from the Clarks

2. Boobgate, I could do a lengthy explanation on this later, but the result of the debacle was that louis came out as absent father who not only didn’t see his kid but also didn’t pay an adequate amount of child support (especially for a millionaire) leaving to Briana’s sugar daddy to buy even groceries for his son

Finally, what I believe solidified the shift in bbg we’ve seen, we have Freddie’s birthday in 2021

3. Fertility clinic sonogram: even non believers were confused by this one, and I have yet to see an alternative explanation other than that kid isn’t Louis

So we had 3 major mistakes that discredited the whole narrative (however fickle) they had set in motion, and I do believe louis needs to have a semblance of control in this mess and that is why he took the role of bbg pusher so far since Christmas 2021, culminating with the doc.

I will expand on louis’ recent actions and the doc later on, but I have some more timelines on this subject that I need to finish before!

(Also, the lack of beard content does seem very on brand for the new image, so I’m not surprised)

When We Were Young Masterlist Summary: Louis tells YN that he is going to be a Dad.

"I'm gonna be a Dad...she's having my baby"

YN wasn't sure if the words that stumbled out of Louis's mouth were a joke or if this was just extra confirmation that there was no future for them. She knew she was the one who ended their relationship a couple of months ago, but being together for four years she never expected him to move on so quickly, she couldn't even do the math - it was all too much. Sure, she had seen some photos of them together, leaving parties and on nights out, but she wasn't expecting him to have a baby with another woman.

She could feel the lump in her throat rise and the tears threaten to spill, but she fought hard against them and instead smiled brightly at the boy she loved in front of her "I..um..I'm sure you'll be an amazing Dad..congratulations Lou..I wish you both all the best with your little family" the words made her feel queazy, sure she meant them but that did that make it hurt any less? No.

"YN..you don't need to pretend you're not angry at me..in fact, I want you to shout and scream at me telling me how much of an idiot I am" Louis pleaded, rubbing his face in stress.

YN shrugged her shoulders "What's the point in doing that?...It's not going to change anything...you're going to be a Dad and have a family regardless of how I react"

"You..I..uh.." Louis stuttered before he tried again "Me and Briana..we're not together..we never were-"

"Lou..look it's none of my business"

"But you deserve to know...it was just a drunken thing..you know it was never meant to be more than that...we're not gonna be a family...we'll co-parent when the baby is here" Louis explained.

"Sounds like you've got it all planned" YN politely smiled, before she stood from where she sat and made her way towards the door.

"YN..wait" Louis called after her, making her freeze when he spoke the next few words "I love you..you know that"

She wanted to turn around her and run into his arms like a fairytale but it just wasn't the case. So she took a deep breath and turned to face Louis with a sad smile "I'll always love you Lou...but I just don't think we're meant to be any more"

Before Louis had the chance to respond, YN left the room heading towards her dressing room where she could let her tears flow freely. As she opened the door, she was taken back when she saw Harry pacing up and down, almost like he was waiting for her.

"Harry what are you doing..you knew he was going to tell me?" YN asked as she saw his sympathetic smile.

"Thought you could do with a cuddle" Harry spoke, opening his arms for her. That's what YN loved about Harry, he always knew when someone needed a shoulder to cry on. She was so grateful to have another brother.

After YN had cried into arms and had now calmed down slightly "There was so much I wanted to say in there"

"How about you tell me instead..you know so you get it all out" Harry suggested.

"He said she was having his baby..and then rambled on about how they're not together..I told him it's none of my business" YN shook her head as she thought about their conversation "What did he expect..me to magically jump back into his arms..I don't think so...I bet she faked her orgasm" YN said so bluntly, making Harry choke on his breath.

"Fucking e'll YN" Harry laughed.

"Sorry..I shouldn't have said that..I don't want to be mean but Louis a prick"

"Uh..yeah not going to happen..I think it would be pretty obvious" YN laughed, until she thought of an idea "It's all yours though..if you ever want to use it"

"Oh thanks" Harry sarcastically laughed at her suggestion "Not sure what I'm gonna do with a verse about you calling Louis and his baby mama out"

"Just don't forget to put me in the credits" YN joked.

Gina, do you know a theory that some celebs give fake weird names of their children to the press so the public wouldn’t know their real ones? So it got me thinking, not particularly relatedly, but anyway…. Why’s that child named strangely synonymous to one of the most famous larry blogs at the time… it truly boggles my mind sometimes how weird of a coincidence this is🙃

Well, considering that Briana's family bought domain names for Sydney Rain (or some other awful girl's name) before the baby was born, only to have Louis sweep in and announce that his name is Freddie Reign, I very much think he did it on purpose. But not so the public wouldn't know (because God knows that family plastered that baby's name and face everywhere), but just to fuck with the Clarks. I also think it was more of a homage to Freddie Mercury than to a member of our fandom. But either way, it was a big F-you to that family and to Simon.

My dad isn't my older brother bio dad but he adopted my brother since he was little so pretty much everyone thinks his the bio dad. It's not a secret or something but it's just whatever ... The funny thing is that my dad coworkers always said that my brother was a carbon copy of my dad and not that my brother has two sons they say the same about my nephews and the truth is that they really look alike.

Idk if they were lucky of if they did research before selecting the fake child's family but people really need to stop using the "they look alike" as proof of something.

I swear I have a similar story about an adopted baby in my circle of friends. Same thing happened to them all the time, “she looks just like her dad” (she had red hair and blue eyes, he has brown hair). I think our brain is used to finding patterns to understand the world and a child next to a father must have similarities so you will find them.

Freddie has bright blonde hair and blue eyes, I would say just like his dad Brett Clark. But yeah, it’s 2023 and all these new fans are so desperate to make this kid a copy of Louis, it doesn’t even matter that Briana was never pregnant to begin with.

I have a question about bbg, sorry to bring this up but I joined the fandom in 2020 and there are a lot of things I'm just discovering now. I saw a post on twitter "denying" the fact that B's cousin used photos of other pregnant women as if they were B, they said it was a fake account and that B's cousin denied it… is this true?? ?

LOL nope. Ashley's account was 100% the one who posted the fake pictures, both on twitter AND facebook, Fizzy even got into a fight with her over this situation. Ashley claims the pictures were photoshopped into her account, but a lot of people saw them before she took them down. There was never another account, her account was always the one in the ss below

And listen... if it was a one-time thing we could all forget about it and pretend it was some sort of misunderstanding, okay? Like we did with a lot of other things in the fandom through the years. But it really wasn't. It was stolen ones first, and then photoshopped ones, and then *ALL* pictures completely cropping out her face and looking super generic, fake bumps in public and finally a bump completely missing when she was supposed to be very pregnant. We never got ONE good convincing picture or video of this woman pregnant, never, ever. To this day, it was always this easy to give us reasons to believe the pregnancy and all she came up with was an ultrasound from a fertility clinic.

Not to mention everything after Freddie was supposedly born.... again more photoshop pictures, dolls being used as the baby, Briana's clothes, her body, her new nose. There are TOO MANY incidences to brush things off, it's too consistent. She just wasn't pregnant.

Hi! Why do you think BG is still going? I see a lot of people saying that it is an alternative to Louis having to have a beard but in my opinion it's much worse to use a child who has no say in the matter and will probably grow up damaged than a beard who has signed up for the job and is getting paid well. Okay you are like the fourth or fifth anon who has insisted that a child is not a way to maintain a closet and while I... guess I get where you are coming from I feel like everyone asking this seems to be forgetting that this isn't just... a decision Louis made in 2022.

That anon is 100% right btw. This decision was made in 2015 (tbh I think it was probably made in late 2014 but that's a whole separate talk) by music execs who wanted something flash in the pan for their boyband that was about to lose one of their most well known members (Zayn - and no this isn't blaming Zayn for BG I am lying the guilt very FIRMLY on the feet of Sony/Syco/Modest/Simon for this one). What happened after has just been... a shit show.

I don't think Louis knew there was going to be an actual fucking baby involved until October when Belfast happened and when the baby was born I don't think anyone knew how long this was supposed to last. They took almost two weeks to file the birth certificate. I think they were trying to figure out something else to go forward with it, and they were trying to muddle all of what was coming out so fandom didn't know top from bottom.

They ultimately decided to file the birth certificate and go the paternity route and everything was then meant to lead up to a paternity test denial. And then Jay got diagnosed with cancer in March 2016 and everything went off the rails.

I think decisions were made back in 2016 because of that so Louis could have the privacy he wanted for his mother and BG was put on the back burner of his mind. I think Louis did two years of hard pap work for BG before he decided "okay I'll move back to London and let this baby thing die off, I'll focus on making music I want to make and I'll figure it all out later." He did Xfactor like Simon wanted in 2018, he avoided LA like a plague, and he tried to get Walls made.

I think he might have felt he found a good balance ignoring everything by 2020 and not mentioning it and then Briana had to go and get fucking sued because she scammed some dude for fake boobs. I'm not expecting anyone to remember this but I went on a VERY LONG RANT about how dangerous of a position that put Louis and his business companies in because it involved taxes and the IRS. I would not be surprised that that moment basically made Louis go "okay well I can't just let things lie because then I'll have a bigger mess on my hand and stuff will creep up that I can't control that involves my closet" and so he has taken back over the stunt so he can have control over his closet.

Here's basically where I'm at and you can agree or disagree but this is what it is: Louis ending BG without coming out would be very difficult. Someone asked me "what do you mean babies are part of the closet" and it's kinda like... a baby is like the ultimate proof to the heterosexual world that you are heterosexual. You have had verifiable sex with the opposite sex. The nuance of how that all happens is lost in part of the bigger heterosexual picture. If you remove the baby from the equation you are now left with "Turns out Louis Tomlinson isn't the dad of the baby his fans never thought was his because they think he's gay and in a relationship with Harry Styles." And the fact that they have let it go on longer and longer just makes the fact you can't end it without forcing him out of the closet very difficult.

Especially if they don't have another section of the closet to fill that piece. AKA... he gets engaged or married to his long term girlfriend. Because what most people try to accomplish with their closets is that people don't go snooping around it. And losing BG would cause people to do that with Louis. "oh that baby was fake what about your relationship? oh you and this girlfriend have been together for how long and you guys never post anything normal or have gotten married/engaged? huh... weird"

And if he is trying to remove having a public girlfriend from his public persona, which I think he is, the only piece of the closet he has left is BG. Because if he removes BG he has to do SOMETHING to re-enforce the heterosexuality. He'd need to up the girlfriend side of things. He might need to get "engaged" so that way people don't go poking around at his closet.

TL;DR: BG is being used because it has been here. They missed the boat of ending the stunt at a time where it wouldn't have immediately outted Louis and now they have to use BG as part of his closet until Louis is able to come out. Which is his right to choose when he wants to come out. Does it suck for the kid? Verdicts out tbh but I'm not someone who thinks the kid really knows what's going on at this point outside of "oh hey I know this famous dude and go to Christmas with these people who are nice to me" and I also think when he's not with Louis - which is a lot - he's probably living his little six year old life with his mom and dad.
