CAF is the greatest piece of Vytal cast ficcing I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing, but I'm grateful BRNZ's direct presence was limited to May getting pounced on by Gwen because I, would Not have been able to handle more than that. Pyrrha and Arslan's budding friendship hit the cap of dramatic irony I think.

and god yeah BRNZ appearances are just gutwrenching now. We considered shooing May 1.0 off with Coco to avoid the (hilarious but still) overlap with Octavia’s friendship with Velvet in BtD but determined that a) it’s VERY FUNNY and b) Coco, who ruthlessly drags Reese’s aesthetic, would probably not have the good sense to appreciate May’s iconic and deeply attractive messy butch look. Gwen has proper appreciation for this.

Pyrrha and Arslan’s lovely budding friendship is VERY sweet. I sure am glad they got many years to develop it and become close confidantes!

since someone left an ask, here’s what the boys look like in Born to Die!

first of all, our main man, the one everyone keeps asking about!

sehun is very much looking a mix of closer to you and love shot era in btd, so longer black hair often parted down the middle or slicked back, literal walking god.. 

junmyeon i see countdown/electric kiss era, god tier look for him but the voluminous darker brown slickback is what i see!

i cant remember when this was, i think it might have been yixing h&m campaign but whatever it was... he looked just everything so this is him for btd! he looks mature and ready to strike!

baekhyun gets the shaggy lighter brown hair thats almost ash blonde! its from the lotto stages (160825 if you’re curious) and its  e v e r y t h i n g, he looks like a little shit and thats exactly what he is (I thought about the mullet and while i love it, its not the vibe i was going for)

but you know who gets a mullet? jongdae, particularly tempo jongdae! the colour and cut are exactly what i wanted for the fic, real talk though sm stop giving this man mediocre haircuts

my son,,, chanyeol he gets his iconic messy red hair from monster! he’s equal parts could kill you and cinnamon role all in one and its exactly what he is in the fic! 

kyungsoo and his five shades of brown make an appearance with this very hot longer on top crew cut from tempo era, as much i love baldsoo i wanted him to at least have more that 3 hairs on his head plus he’s killer in this look

call me baby jongin was such an actual serve im still thinking about it 5 years on okay? the whole vibe is yes but dw he’s still babie
