#russell crowe #quotes #russellcroweedit #crowedit #croweedit #gilles gifs #if you do not want my cringe analysing then do not read further yadda yadda #but there are a couple things to note here #i think the most important one is his body language #he invited this interviewer to his farm and his safe space and they seemed to have a lot of fun #but nothing really cut deep at first #it was mostly just talking about projects and the farm and goofing off on the quad bikes #and then towards the end they end up discussing more serious matters #i do not know how it is cut but this subject seems to be dropped a bit out of nowhere #and russell is REALLY obviously not comfortable with the subject #he builds up walls & he's dismissive in his answer & trying to deflect and not feed the interviewer too much at first #his 'you do do you?' is really like a laughing scoff that in a way tells the interviewer Okay Do Not Go Here #and then during his reaction to the image of hollywoods bad boy and the image being overblown #he slowly eases a bit #first of all because the interviewer allows him to explain himself and share his thoughts without too much judgement #which helps a lot as russell deals Really Poorly with people who have their judgements ready #and i think he was afraid of that #so he starts off a bit colder with the 'here's the thing mate' #but then he removes his sunglasses and he seems a bit more... thoughtful #and imho saying Everyone Else Is Wrong etc is still a bit... a deflective statement #but at the same time his whole body language went through a Huge transformation already in the span of 15-20 seconds #I think it is fair that people ask him tougher questions and I think he is very capable of handling them these days #but you can just... tell that this subject will always be kind of elephant-in-the-room-ish #and that in many ways russell is trying to carry himself with pride while simultaneously looking like a guilty dog #ALSO i do think he is right and justified in saying this

despite not feeling like I improved all that much during my first ac6 playthrough, I must have cause I’m already at chapter 3 in new game + and I haven’t died or reset even once.

Having better parts helps too of course. But I’m not using op weapons I’m just fucking around with builds and breezing through it all. Even the new missions I’ve gotten so far haven’t been a threat.

Maybe it’s because I’m using a bipedal build that’s noticeably faster. I used the quad legs as soon as I got them in the first playthrough so I was always pretty slow. And then I got the heavier ones so I was even slower.

#on my first save it took like 10 tries each to deal with balteus and the spider but this time it was.. so easy. #did I git gud or did I just learn to stop panicking and get as close as possible #the answer is yes #I’m still kind of worried about the chapter 4 boss as that was what I struggled with the most. I was stuck on it for like 2 hours #idk if I’ll be able to first try that one #it’s so fast and I feel like I’ll never be able to melee it since it reads your inputs like crazy #I might switch to an even lighter weight build for that one #cause with the quad legs I couldn’t dodge shit. idk if this new build is fast enough #I’m trying to 100% the game. keyword is trying. I’m worried about S ranking the bosses

1.) What’s the lie your character says most often?

Ryan often says “I’m fine” followed by a smart ass comment. Ryan is not fine. He’s got all sorts of stuff going on, but he’s not going to admit that he’s struggling. His “not fine”ness is not obvious, as Ryan enjoys being around people and he uses a lot of humor and sarcasm when he feels cornered.

Cara often says “I’ve got this.” She doesn’t often have it, but Cara doesn’t like to ask for help. She’d prefer to tackle things by herself, or with her siblings. This is especially true for family issues or other things that Cara deems too personal. She’s going to tackle problems by herself without a doubt, and will only ask for help at the last possible minute.

Sara often says “It’s no problem.” She doesn’t believe that she’s lying, but she is. It’s not that she doesn’t want to help people, but Sara often runs herself ragged and doesn’t know how to say “no” when her friends come up to her with problems.

Conor, like Ryan, often says “I’m fine.” He doesn’t mean it. He never means it, even as he tries to convince himself to that he really is fine. Conor is never really fine. He’s got self-esteem issues and is extremely self-conscious. He is also the quadruplet who ends up going through the most.

2.) How loosely or strictly do they use the word ‘friend’?

From the loosest to the strictest: Sara, Ryan, Cara, Conor.

Sara is the loosest with the word ‘friend.’ She’s friendly to everybody, and it doesn’t take much for her to consider you a friend. Conor, on the other hand, is the strictest with the word ‘friend.’ He’s an introvert, but he’s also very guarded due to bullying and ignorance about his stutter. Cara is slightly more guarded than Ryan, but not by much.

53.) Who would / do they believe without question?

Each other. These four have been through so much and the number 1 constant in their lives has been one another. They trust each other implicitly. It has been them against the world for years. The quads know that they can count on one another. It’s a strong bond that they have never questioned anything that comes out of the others’ mouths. Okay, so there is a slight caveat. In their fifth year, the quads were insufferable and spent the majority of the year fighting and arguing. If there was ever a time to doubt one another, it was then.
