Bulalo is one of my favourite dish of my mother this not just a normal dish but a very special cooked of my mother because every sunday i request my mother to cook bulalo because she know this is my favourite food then she know that i eat a lot of rice then i feel like im in "Eat all you can" restaurant when eating this, this is so very special dish for me
Here are the ingredients and instructions on how to cook a "special Bulalo".
Ingredients
2 lbs beef shank
½ cabbage whole leaf individually detached
1 bundle bok choy
2 cobs corn each cut into 3 parts
2 Tablespoons whole peppercorn
1/2 cup green onions cut unto 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 onion
34 ounces water
Instructions
1.In a big cooking pot, pour in water and bring to a boil
2. Put-in the beef shank followed by the onion and whole pepper corn then simmer for 1.5 hours (35 minutes if using a pressure cooker) or until meat is tender.
3. Add the corn for another 15 minutes
4. Add the cabbage, and green onion
5. Enjoy your final finish product
