Had a mutual threatened me when I sent a pic of Peggy crying. They were about to throw down, but its okay Peggy has tissues now. Her trauma is forever healed because of good vibes . . . yep thats how that works :)

I also wanted to preface this just in case I had any other asks that may be similar. Just because it hasn’t happened before doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future. Many species decided to stay where they were only developing based on their environment while others began to build civilization, create technology, and slowly over time create a truly inhabitable planet.

 A professor by the name of Marin Kelp created what is known as the A.S.A. —

The Animal Salvation Association.

 An international organization that ensures the safety of every animal on Earth. And from this collective, branches were formed . . .

C.L.A.D.E. - The Covert League of Animal Detective Experts

Safari Solutions - Nicknamed: The S.S. Jade

R.S.R. - Ranger Search and Recovery

S.O.S. - Safegaurding Our Society

 Together these branches protect the world and anything that might harm it, hoping one day to create a peaceful planet with no war and no pollution. A place where everyone can be equal.

 Of course not everyone wishes to be subjected to such a cause. Some believe that it is oppressive, and would rather cause harm than be safe from it.

 So, many companies have begun to fight against the A.S.A., carrying on through secret gatherings and creating organizations. From there, gangs began to appear as well as Bounty Hunter administrations.

 It’s now more important than ever that the branches of the A.S.A. protect not only the world’s animal populations and the environment, but themselves as well.

Ya’ll are probably so tired of seeing Emma, I’m sorry but I'm literally an Oc artist, what can I say?? (This is a bit of a long one, I hope you like reading! Don’t worry there are pictures too lol! 🖼 I spent a lot of energy on all of these, my brain is very soupy rn tbh)

Ask #1:

🌖 — Sea Salt & Hibiscus Flowers . . .

(I’ll fix the coloring on this one later, I literally didn’t see how much of his colors I actually failed to put in until now. Fixed it 🙃 — Also why are reptiles so much harder to draw than mammals???)

🌗 — Sincerly Emma will throw on anything that feels comfortable. Most times it’s not even her’s. Although in public she dresses better than she feels. Sometimes you’ll see her walking around with sun glasses just to hide the bags under her eyes.

(This is just a sketch so we’ll see if I get around to finishing it later. I was struggling because Emma is supposed to be a lot taller but I didn’t measure the proportions very well. I was just trying to figure out how to draw a gosh darn grocery cart!)

🌘 — Emma is truthfully just doing her best. I don’t know how else to put it. She puts all the world’s problems on her shoulders and expects very little in return. At the end of the day she knows bad things will happen, but as long as they happen to her she doesn’t mind all that much.

She’s constantly throwing herself at problems just to keep her friends and family safe. Her worst fear is letting her team down and she likes to beat herself up if anyone where to get hurt on her watch. She’s had a lot of hospital visits and bed rest days if you know what I mean. But at the end of the day she’s still a very sad individual and isolates herself from everyone.

(It’s partially the Maned Wolf in her, they aren’t really pack animals if that makes sense)

Ofc Emma has a team that loves and cares about her, and in a way they’re like her family aside from the A.S.A. She’d do anything for them. I think it’s just a matter of not wanting to be in their way. She hates being selfish, but sometimes just a hug can heal the day’s strains.

Emma Jade in MEOMI’s Style

Okay so if it wasn’t clear before, this is Professor Emma Jade. She is a Zoologist and a Animal/Nature Activist. She is an ally to the Octonauts as well as many other organizations (Ex. C.L.A.D.E.). Emma also happens to be very good friends to Captain Barnacles as well as many other activists that work within the A.S.A.

In this AU Emma is the main character. I wanted to showcase the potential of the Octonauts world by using Emma to help the audience understand how things work on this version of Earth.

She’s a very interesting character, and I’m excited for all of you to get to know her. I wanted to make up for the week that I didn’t post in between the other Octonauts refs and the last post. This won’t always happen but I’m too excited to wait for the next picture because of how gosh darn cute it is. So expect a post on Thursday!

My regular posting schedule should be every Tuesday if not then Thursdays. I’m in the process of looking for a new job (hopefully in childcare) so that schedule may change in the future. But I will be sure to keep all of you updated! Again a HUGE thank you to everyone who is following along, I hope this will be able to inspire others to keep strengthening our little fandom, because it sorely needs it!

(P.S. This isn’t my favorite drawing but its been the basis for all of her main colors so I’m still rather attached to it. This was actually the first digital version of her as well so extra attachments I guess)

The Lore of the Kuri AU Earth.

900 years ago, there were kings and queens, gods and goddess, mortals and immortals. There was something else, though. It was called a Sesanti. It held powers given from the gods, but ever since World War 1, 300 years ago, they had never given them out again.

It was like they didn't trust them or just was greedy and wanted to keep it to themselves.

900 years later, though, only the gods and anthros that can provide a promise to the gods wield Sesanti.

But hope is not lost, when the Battle for C.L.A.D.E. breaks out, a hen gains the power of fire, breaking the contracts and rules of the gods.
