Namjoon was walking in the cold night, the dead leaves swifting in the wind around his shivering body. Tears didn't stop dripping down his cheeks, for how Jin just left him in the dark, without any trail of a clue to his feelings. He's like that, he keeps his heart locked, a fortress keeping all his secrets to himself with people worrying about him. He stopped in his tracks, to see someone in front of him.

"Why you here?"

"Jackson."

He smiled as he met his friend he never saw for a long time. Jackson's a part of the famous K-pop group GOT7 that their popularity spread around the whole world. He travelled a lot, busy so much that he didn't know where he was and what he is doing. He feels like they've gone distant because he once remembered how close they were when they were. It was quite surprising but he appreciated his presence right now, for he needs someone that doesn't know about him and Jin's past relationship.

"Oya? Hey, man! Long time no see!"

"Yeah, no time no see," Namjoon said, getting a pat from Jackson on his back.

"What's wrong? You look blue."

"Hanahaki disease," Namjoon sighed, standing beside Jackson with his hand on his pockets. "You know that?"

"Yeah, that fanfiction trope...why'd you mention that?"

"Um-sorry to be dumb but...how?"

"I don't know," Hoseok replied, catching Jackson's attention. "Unrequited love, I guess."

"Um...with whom?"

"Didn't say who it was..." Jimin butted in. others gave each other looks and stares.

[Where My Twin Watches]: PMMM Rebellion - Part 7

Bleh. So like Tephi said, I’ve been putting this off. Like when we got to the last PMMM episode, things are grim. Unlike last episode, Madoka doesn’t have a Wish to fix everything. Because of the Incubator’s dickishness, Homura’s been trapped as a pseudo-Witch, and the rest of the Madokrew got pulled in and depowered. I can’t really think of any way to resolve this, or at least there are no options I can think of that I accept. But whatever, sitting here sulking doesn’t make the fact that whatever’s going to happen happens. Onwards with Rebellion.

So some sort of creepy childish singing has started up, as stylized Homutroops march along with some of the creepy Goth Kids. Homura’s familiars? Incubator’s still rambling, saying that Madoka forgot she was a goddess, and Homura forgot she was a Witch. But since Homura realized the truth, “the delicate balance within has begun to crumble.” Oh, so sorry your stupid experiment is messed up, Incubator. I weep for you. [Incubator]: “Now then, Homura Akemi. Reach out to Madoka Kaname for help. That will make her remember who she really is and what she came here to do.” ...yeah, no. You explained last time that one goal of Stupid Experiment was seeing the power potential of a Witch, the other was catching that pesky Madokami who was taking away girls before you could get your paws on them. Homura ain't gonna do anything you say. Homura questions why the Incubator wants her to summon Madokami, her Familiars tapping their spears as the windows of this place/temple/thing they’re in cracks. Yup, there it is. [Homura]: “You intend to control Madoka, DON’T YOU?!” And with that cry, the glass shatters, and her Familiars attack. Oh no. Oh no no no. As satisfying as this is to watch her Familiars attack that bastard, this is not a good sign. The Incubator blathers on even as stone shatters around it, plainly stating that sure, their long-term goal is to control this thing that they don’t understand. If they can just observe it, they can eventually control it, and bring about Witches “and collect vast amounts of energy all at once.” Oh good Madokami shut UP you dick. “Truly, Magical Girls hold the key to limitless possibilities. All of you Magical Girls should fulfill your existence by transforming into a Witch!” Welp. Hoping I’ll be wrong, but I think you might be getting your wish soon, Incubator. At least, one Witch. [Incubator]: “Why are you angry?” GEE. I WONDER WHY HOMURA WOULD BE ANGRY RIGHT NOW. ...I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the Incubator raises a good point. Homura has technically fulfilled her Wish: ”I wish I could meet Miss Kaname all over again. But this time instead of her protecting me, I want to be strong enough to protect her!” Homura has ‘met’ Madoka again, and stripped of her powers Madoka is weaker than pseudo-Witch Homura. This is what she Wished for. But this is not what she wanted. And… yeah. There it is. The Incubator sounds shocked now. [Incubator]: “Are you serious? You’re raising a curse yourself? What are you thinking?” Damnit. I didn’t want this to happen. -The Incubators are trying to capture Madokami. -Madoka is trapped in this Labyrinth. -This Labyrinth has been created by pseudo-Witch Homura. -The only way to end a Labyrinth is to remove the source. So. In order to set Madoka free from the machinations of the Incubators, the Labyrinth has to go. And that means Homura as well. FUCK. THAT. That is a stupid fucking ending and I do not accept it. Homura, please don’t do this. We can figure something else out. If you do this, turn full Witch… Homura understands what she’s doing. By turning full Witch, she deprives the Incubators the chance of getting Madoka through her. And it’s not like it’ll be a long Witchification, with Mami and Kyoko at hand NO NO NO FUCK NO. Homura stop you are not going to pull a Suicide by Magical Girl you do not need to die that is a stupid fucking image of you in a guillotine no no no NO This is not how your story ends You have not come all this way to die now No. Worse than death even. Dying as a Witch while in the Incubation Field, she’s cut off from Madokami. Madokami won’t be able to save her before she gives into despair. By doing this, Homura will never see Madoka again. Witch-Homura just tells the Incubator to shut up, and sets her Familiars on it. ...ok, have to admit. As dark as this is and despite all my ranting, I got a chuckle out of that Goth Kid hitting a homerun with the Incubator’s head.

This really is the worst possible outcome for Homura, isn’t it? She is consigning herself to Witch Hell, to protect Madoka in Magical Girl Heaven. Wait. A nightmare? Homura and Madoka are sitting on chairs in a field. Then Madoka… stands up? Then falls and now pink blotch what. Now shocked Homura surrounded by Slendergirl versions of herself, then giant fist of Homura hitting ground in anger. Then bony black fingers and ah. So this is Witch-Homura. “So this is being a Witch…” So. Homura has become a Witch. Some sort of headless lady breaking free from the temple, surrounded by her soldiers. Now what? That’s serious question, there’s still- half an hour?! Uh ok, what gives? This is peak dark, I thought that things were coming to an end here. What else is there?! Oh good Madokami. Urobutcher, if you drag out this fight of the Madokrew trying to kill Homura I am going to be pissed. This poor girl has been through so much, please at least end this quickly. The clocks count down. The curtain rises. And our actors take their place. Witch-Homura is marching along with her army, when a giant guillotine rises. In response, spectral arms come out of her back and claw at the ground. Torn between trying to die to save her friends and being scared? Cut to the rest of the Madokrew, Mami and Sayaka have their eyes covered. They know what they have to do. The Incubator pipes up, asks if they really intend to fight their friend. Still trying to keep this going? Dude, you’ve lost, you’re so rattled that you forgot you’ve been playing mute. One more appeal to Madoka to assume her power… but Sayaka shuts him down, tells Madoka to do what she said earlier. Wait, what? Plan? You have a plan you made offscreen? ...dare I trust in the Tropes? Ok, Charlotte (or Bebe I guess? If I understand now she came through with Madoka and Sayaka, so she is working for Madoka but as a Magical Girl instead of a Witch) cries out a cheesy warcry and- blender? Forget it Ranubis, it’s a Labyrinth. We’ll be here forever if I keep getting distracted by Labyrinth stuff. Now something’s pouring into a glass shaped like… no. No way! It’s the girl from the cover! It’s Magical Girl Bebe! Who wields… a trumpet that shoots bubbles. Ok then! Witch-Homura sends her soldiers forward. [Homura!Thoughts]: Damnit guys, let me sacrifice myself for your freedom! Stop being so inconsiderate! Alright! With a Mysterious Plan in play, I can actually get excited about seeing our Girls fight again! Sayaka’s turn, our Blue Paladin draws her sword and WHAT WHAT WHAT THE FUCK Oh Ok then, while it gave me a panic attack it seems that that’s just Sayaka’s way of summoning her Witch form. Alright then! So former Witches can draw on their Witch Forms in battle! Battle of the Bands, go!

Hahahaha! Fuck you Incubator, you got so held up on the Very Important Girl that you ignored her private security! Security that is holding all her power and memories! Puffballs fight Homutroops as they explain the pla- NO NO NO IT’S TOO EARLY YOU TWO THERE’S STILL SO MUCH MOVIE LEFT YOU CAN’T REVEAL STUFF LIKE THIS NOW THINK OF THE TROPES! Ok ok calm down, there’s still Madoka’s vague role. For now Bebe JEBUS ok she’s going into Witch Mode now. Fear the Bebe! The battle continues, Madoka watching on until Mami scoops her up. Team attack? Ooh music has started up as Madoka draws her bow, shoots the ceiling of the Labyrinth that the other girls have been cracking. Can you actually break out without having to kill the Witch? Homura begs them to stop, says she has to die and sends out the Goth Kids, who are much more effective against the Puffballs than the standard Homutroops. Sayaka… chides Homura for trying to take on these huge burdens by herself. Given how hard I ragged Sayaka for going Lawful Stupid as a paladin in the middle of the show, I think it’s fair to say that means a lot coming from her. The Goth Kids are actually pretty strong against Sayaka, knock her into a bird until she cuts her way out. Or rather, Kyoko cuts her out? Daw, that’s nononono cannot ship cannot ship they are BEST FRIENDS cannot ship still so much movie yet keep the Ship of Death docked BEST FRIENDS BEST FRIENDS BEST FRIENDS [Kyoko]: “I had a sickening dream. A dream where you were dead.” Then she talks about that being the real world, and where they are now as a dream. Well, I mean in the original world Sayaka did Witchify, but Madoka undid that. So you are fighting with her again, just not in the real world. [Sayaka]: “I thought I didn’t have any regrets when I died.” Hands?! [Sayaka]: “But the reason I ended up taking this assignment and coming back was because I actually do have one regret.” Other stuff is going on but who cares because hands! [Sayaka]: “The fact that I left you behind.” HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDS!!!!! Screw the twists and turns this story has taken, screw the Witch reveal, and screw even the Homura/Mami fight! This right here, this is the best thing ever! AAAAAAAAAHHHHH! [Bebe]: “I just wanted to eat cheese one more time!” [Sayaka]: *slumps* “Hey, Nagisa! Don’t ruin the mood!”

And Team Handholders charge back into the fray. Fear them! Witch-Homura’s still trying to stop them, even when we are actually recovering from Peak Dark. And it’s good! The Labyrinth is going down! Giant Incubators are looking down into the Labyrinth, the Field is visible! Almost there! Wait, film reel? Window? Oh hell. It’s this place again. The moment when Homura made her Wish. Or is it the time she mercy-killed Madoka? Wait wait Homura’s pulled a gun she’s aiming it at a silhouette of her no no NO Homura we’re so close Madoka! She’s telling Homura to not give up, Homura is crying as she apologizes and says she was spineless. Homura, you have been anything but! You were going to consign yourself to death, to never see Madoka again in order to protect her! And now you don’t have to. Now you can accept help, and together leave this place. A tree grows, and then blossoms. Homura and Madoka stand with their bows, and fire up to break the Field. Outside, there holy crud there’s a lot of Incubators. Um. The girls should be able to get away from them, right? The arrow blasts out of the Field, flies up um ok it just made some symbols GOOD GRAVY WHAT. Um. It appears that they just used Madoka’s Arrow Storm to rain Pink Devestation on the surrounding area and Incubators. Um. It appears we have discovered what will drive All-Loving Madoka to destroy: Kidnapping and Torturing Homura. [Incubators]: “I just don’t understand at all!” HAHAHAHAHA FUCK YOU DICKS

Supernatural 13x09 “The Bad Place,” and 13x10 “Wayward Sisters.”

Wayward daughters, here we come!!!

The Bad Place

The title of this episode is interesting because there’s more than one way to read it, as with so much of this season. “The Good Place” is a TV show, which has a central twist [spoiler] of actually being an experiment in Hell, where people think they’ve been sent to Heaven by mistake, only to realise they’re really damned after all. So the Good Place is really the Bad Place. What does that mean for Supernatural? Is the title meant to be ironic or straight? Is the Bad Place Kia’s dream-walking destination, or is it something else? Is it an inversion -- a place people think is bad, but is actually good? The Earth of the Supernatural ‘verse has always seemed a place of horrors, until we contrast it with Mordor, or Purgatory, or Kia’s Bad Place. Of course, there’s also a horror novel by Dean Koontz called The Bad Place about a guy who wants a normal life but keeps getting dragged into a life of supernatural horror by his inbred family. On point.

This episode overtly sets things up for the Wayward Sisters ep to follow, but it still has some interesting things to say about our core story threads of how to be a good father, Dean’s wonky moral radar, and people having heard of hunting and/or Sam and Dean.

James continues to be a terrible father. He’s loving and decent, but doesn’t trust Patience enough to start being her own person and making her own choices. It’s no wonder she leaves. That’s not a tenable place to be if she actually wants to grow and have her own life. I hope James will get his head out of his ass and realise that. It would be nice to have him in Wayward Daughters as an ongoing supporting character, especially if we get to see the relationship become more healthy. That’s not something depicted enough, so it would be refreshing.

The writers continue to do the bait and switch with Jack, and it’s working because I can’t decide if it’s going to pay off with him actually doing something terrible when no-one expects it or if they are just using it for tension. I’m leaning towards tension, but I won’t be surprised if he ends up killing Lucifer down the track. Patricide, you know, would fit in with this season’s themes pretty well.

Dean’s moral radar continues to be all over the place. He still thinks Jack could be a monster, and that he’s going to go looking for Lucifer. That says at least as much about Dean and his own daddy issues as it possibly could about Jack. Assuming for a moment that I’m wrong and Dean moral radar is actually fine, perhaps it’s wonky for Jack because Jack is still forming his moral character and could go either way. I’d be tempted to go with this idea, because it’s interesting, except then we got the moment Dean decides to threaten Kia with a gun and force her to help them, falling right back into the old habits of making bad choices when family is on the line. That was more than a dick move, it was a monstrous one. The ends don’t justify the means, and he was plain wrong and cruel. I find Dean’s choice here even more interesting than the possibility that Jack is morally unformed. We’ve already seen this season that Dean’s emotional support system has shifted, and is much more reliant on Castiel now, and I’m wondering if the moral wonkiness we’re seeing is because he hasn’t really found his balance yet. Is he awkwardly straddled between needing his birth family for emotional support, and creating his own more adult connections? He’s so terrible at actually talking to Castiel about anything to do with emotions, so I find this an entirely believable reading.

We also have another instance of people thinking they know about the Winchesters. The angels kidnap Kia specifically as bait:

Kaia: Your plan? It sucks. They won't come for me. Female Angel: What do you mean? Kaia: I mean, you picked the wrong bait. I'm not the kind of girl folks come for. In this world, I don't even rank a milk carton. No one is gonna come for me. I'm not white, rich, blonde. No one's gonna fight for me. I don't matter. Female Angel: Of course you don't matter. But they think you do. They'll show. And when they do, we'll kill them and take the boy. (x)

I actually thought the dialogue in this scene was really clunky. It was like Berens had to shoe-horn stuff in, and used bad exposition to do it. It was really jarring compared to the rest of the episode. But putting that aside, the angels take on the Winchesters is that they will try to save anyone human, but also that it will be easy to kill them and take what they want.

Frankly, I’m living for this theme. For ages, I’ve wanted the text to explore what other characters know or think they know about the Winchesters, and it’s now quite clear this is a major arc this season. Anyway, Housemate and I were talking about this, and we were wondering why everyone (except Crowley) always underestimates the Winchesters. I made the following case:

When they are at their most deadly, no-one survives to tell the tale; or else it happens in a place where stories aren’t likely to end up with the Earth-bound monsters -- like Dean’s stint in Purgatory.

Those who do survive the Winchesters to tell the tale are often around when things go wrong, and Sam and Dean act like bumbling idiots. The scene in 13x12 is an example of this. The witches easily enspell Dean, and get away (temporarily) because Sam and Dean are rolling around on the ground fighting each other. Let’s be real, most of the pleasure in watching that scene was in Jared and Jensen pulling faces and being ridiculous. If the witches were to tell anyone about it at this point, it would be all, “Pfft, they aren’t all that.” I suspect a lot of the monster gossip about the Winchesters comes from those moments, and paints them as half-assed -- yes, they are hunters so sensible monsters steer clear, but they kill things by luck a bunch of the time, so the gossip goes. A hard-ass monster wouldn’t be that worried, based on the stories.

There must also be something in the gossip about the Winchesters being bleeding hearts who make stupid sentimental decisions -- mostly focused on saving people, and that always includes Humans, but can include monsters too if they are law-abiding. Hence the witch going to them for help, and these angels taking Kia as bait.

This really fascinates me, and I hope we actually get to see some of the gossip happening in an episode down the track. Even better if it’s played off against Sam and Dean at their most competent and deadly, so that the chasm between the stories and the reality is obvious.

There were two other things I particularly loved about this episode: The angels attacking the wards as a group. So cool. And that Dean and Sam ended up in a giant monster footprint. Housemate and I both screeched “Dinosaur World!!!” at the same time.

This season really is giving me all the things I want. :)

Wayward Sisters

*happysigh* We have all been waiting for this episode for ages, right? And it didn’t disappoint. The showrunners put some real care into this, from writing, performances, and direction, down to giving the ep prime place as the mid-season finale, as it deserved.

I wonder if “I Am the Fire” will be the show’s anthem in the same way that “Carry on My Wayward Son” is for Supernatural. Good choice if so.

There was something viscerally satisfying about seeing all these women on the screen together. I love them all. I love that Claire is being set up as the lead, the kick-ass Hunter with a chip on her shoulder. God, her opening scene was fantastic! Mr Werewolf. Hahahaha. She’s going to be great. I love that Jody and Donna are there as role models and protectors, and Donna’s smiling face is a treasure. I love that Alex and Patience have completely different skill sets from hunting but still have a place. I love the female energy.

I also really liked Kaia, and as always have mixed feelings about her fridging. The show really has learned, because here we have a fridging that is not a fridging. I’m still not happy with it, because the larger cultural trope of killing off the women of colour is still a thing, so it bothers we whenever it happens. But Supernatural at least seem to be trying hard to include more diversity, and to be fair to the writers, that presents a real problem given the genre and death count on the show. This new method they’re trying -- fridging some characters of colour as needed for the story, but making sure there are other characters who survive from the same demographic, is definitely a step forward. I’m never going to be 100% happy with this, as long as minorities of all kinds have a higher death count and lower representation on screen, but I will pay that Supernatural is actively trying to do better, and succeeding for the most part. As fridgings go, this was effective in deepening Claire’s characterisation in a way that should play out really well in the new show, especially with the New Kaia in the mix.

In terms of Kaia as a character, I’m sad they killed her because I liked her, but I’m pretty optimistic we’re going to get a similar Kaia with the hooded figure. With all the set up of Morder, we know that the people in the other worlds are very like the ones here, just with a few different quirks and edges, so the Kaia who came through is likely to have most of the same characteristics as Kaia Mark 1, including the dreamwalking. I’m happy about this, as I really want Kaia as part of the Wayward team.

Apart from that, I don’t have much to say. The writing was strong, and I loved the touches, like:

JODY: They were on a hunting trip and I haven’t heard from them in a few days. It’s time to come home. (x)

If this is what the show is going to be like, I’m here for it. I’m actually more excited for it than I thought I would be, and I can’t wait for the show to start airing.

I looked up a guide to the must-watch episodes to get ready for Wayward Sisters, because I thought some of you might find it useful:

Season 5, episode 15 - “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid”: This episode will introduce you to Sheriff Jody for the first time and show you how she got into the supernatural life. Season 9, episode 19 - “Alex Annie Alexis Anne”: In this episode, we not only get to see Sheriff Jody in action as a hunter, but also her rescue and “adoption” of Alex. Season 10, episode 8 - “Hibbing 911”: Though this isn’t Sheriff Donna’s first episode, it is the firs.  where she’s clued into the supernatural realm, and where she begins her friendship with Sheriff Jody. Season 10, episode 9 - “The Things We Left Behind”: This episode reintroduces us to Claire and shows us the troubled, solitary life she’s been leading since losing her father. Season 10, episode 20 - “Angel Heart”: Claire hunts down her mother in this episode, and ultimately loses her. While it’s tragic, the episode ends with Claire being sent to live with Jody and Alex. Season 11, episode 12 - “Don’t You Forget About Me”: If you only have time to watch one episode, watch this one. This was the first episode where we got to see some glimpses of Wayward Sisters. It is our first look at the unique hunting family Jody has created. Season 13, episode 3 - “Patience”: This episode introduces us to Patience, and gives us insight into her powers. It’s also where Jody and Patience first meet. Season 13, episode 9 - “The Bad Place”: In our first introduction to Kaia, we learn about her powerful dreamwalking abilities, as well as the lonely life she’s been leading as she’s tried to find some sort of peace from “the bad place.” It’s also the last episode to air before the backdoor pilot. (x)

I’ve actually already seen the next two eps, but will post about them separately, otherwise I’ll get too far behind.

Sci-Fi Romance Thoughts: Young Frankenstein

I love this movie. I actually saw the musical recently (no, it’s not as good as the producers, but no, that doesn’t make it bad) and I loved that too. I think this is the kind of humour that appeals to most people, and it was the exact type of romance I was looking for: one that blatantly mocks all sci-fi romance tropes. It was the perfect movie choice. So here are my (obviously spoiler filled) thoughts on the “romance plot” of Young Frankenstein!

Who was in love? Frederick and Inga

How much time was spent on romance? 20 minutes to a half hour

Did they end up together? Yes

Did the plot depend on it? No, it was entirely unnecessary

How much lead up? Absolutely none. You meet her and there are immediate sexual innuendos. But in a deliberate way. It wasn’t anything they were trying to do, this was never supposed to be a love story.

Were you feeling it? Not really, but not because it didn’t work, they just weren’t organic. They were obligatory. If I remember right, the first time I saw this I was more into Elizabeth and the Monster, but that may have just been the musical.

How was it integrated? It wasn’t. Like at all. There’s constant sexual innuendo, and when the monster is chained up, she’s like, let me release your tension, and they fuck. That’s...it. More innuendo to follow and then they’re just married.

How distracting was it? It was pretty distracting in the sex scene part, but that was clearly deliberate. What’s the worst thing you could possibly do at this time? Have sex, so that’s what they did. So it was quite distracting, but it was there to show skewed priorities. Mel Brooks does that a lot.

Kiss? You’d think, but no. They never kiss on screen...

Sex? Yes

Annoyance Level: 0. Honestly, they were more of a punch line than a romance, so it wasn’t really enough to be annoying.

Overall Movie Rating: 9. I love this movie.

Thoughts - Exposition man! I fucking love gene wilder. wow exposition man is annoying. I saw that coming. but…why do thaatt? omg! MY TIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTSSSSSSS (the musical is great guys) I feel like in real life the train conductor wouldn’t wait for him, he’d totally have just…gone. How’d he get to transylvania by train? Grabbing onto him in fear, scared of the lightning. I love how very slightly offended she is by the horses and lightning thingy lol. Are those candles even lit?? SHe comes to him when he’s having a “nachtmare” to wake him up, and they go searching for the music together. It’s weird how much of this movie I can quote. Insisting on going with him cos she’s scared, holds on to him during a jump scare.. “Doesn’t this place have lights?” Valid. Lol why is he rubbing his face on him??? Holding onto his arm as they tiptoe through the tulips. He’s yelling and all I can hear is “THE ROWERS KEEP ON ROWING AND THEY’RE CERTAINLY NOT SHOWING ANY SIGNS THAT THEY ARE SLOWING” That coffin was definitely coffin shaped…I love how there’s a brain repository with brains that can be “used”. Staring into each other’s eyes, sex jokes that are actually funny. If there’s a chance of execution why is he going too? I”m nitpicking now cos this movie is great but I wold have thought they’d turn the crank that way to pull him up, not bring him back down. It just feels wrong. Jesus now I’m even telling the movie how to pronounce his name right. why are people from transylvania all british? or have a german accent? HULK!! lol “yummy sound” that’s adorable. I legit thought he was going to look into camera for a second and just go “was it yooouuuu” Cowering again cos she’s frightened. HAHAHAHA gene hackman!! He always reminds me so much of Bill Murray, I don’t know why, they don’t look alike. Maybe it’s their voices? wait he has a zipper on his neck? How did he get that candle lit? Everyone says that immediately beofre they ask them to open the door. She’s the one who wants to listen to him, asks if he’s ok. There’s a dude in the audience who looks like Hugh Jackman…Is it just cos he’s ugly that they take his word for him being a dead guy? IN the wings applauding for him. I love how there’s some guy at the piano making ALL the music. I think that’s my favourite movie thing when they have like one or two instruments out to make the music look diegetic but then the music is actually a full orchestra. I love that. Ok i’ve never understood this, he’s afraid of fire, that’s a natural fear, why does he go from being awesome to worthy of having stuff thrown at him cos he doesn’t like fire? I mean I know it’s scary but you were the assholes who threw food at a scared actual monster. Their faces pressed together for that classic shot, and there. They had the sex. This is completely irrelevant but they’re lying down and there are pillows and i’m just so jealous. Special note that a. he definitely cheated on Elizabeth, and b. Inga makes like, no notice of this?? anyway, Plot Twist! This is what I mean, this thing is bigger than you, has killed people, is extra superstrong and is easily frightened. Why would you frienghten him? That’s just stupid! Oh my god how did I just notice he was wearing a monocle over his eyepatch? That’s hilarious, how did I never notice?? So now he’s super into his fiancee again…yep. it’s the sex. Dirty bastard. To be fair if some dude came at me like that I wouldn’t be too into it either (but to be clear her wishes should be respected no matter what…just thought I’d put that out there) Now he’s the one who won’t say he loves her. Sex pest. lol who brushes their hair like that?? Lolz now she’s got that white streak in her hair for…some reason. So just to be clear here. He kidnapped her for sex, and even though she’s adamantly against it, as any kidnapped woman would be, she becomes totally into it because he has a massive dick. This singing is super funny, but she was saying no that whole time. Yucky. Ok cool, zipper neck has been acknowledged. Good thing she’s into it. Of course it’s the music! Wasn’t that the point? For a minute there he looked like penguin…like Danny DeVito’s penguin. These last half of the notes have been from the last like…15 minutes. Ok well I’m starting a countdown! What is that dude’s arm made of?? Nope. Lies. She’s crying over him. Is it? That was…easy. You don’t see him wake up…now they’re married? Wait does that mean his dick? Yeah it means his giant dick.

So those were my romance related thoughts on Young Frankenstein! If nothing else, go listen to “Please Don’t Touch Me” from the broadway recording. It’s Megan Mullally and it’s like...the song of my life. Seriously. Anyway, you can find the video I took these notes for here!
