Guys I have a very interesting idea
It's another game idea. Basically it's one of those pet games kinda like Wobbledogs and Cheeky Chooks, but you manage a pigeon loft (s).
You start out with three types of pigeons that are easy to tame, which are the Seraphim, the Chinese/ Old Dutch owl and Old Dutch Capichine. You have to feed, train and take care of your pigeons. As you become more experienced at taking care of your pigeons, you can get more lofts, as well as more pigeon breeds. You can also race your pigeons, as well as showing them off! There will also be minigames as well, like training your pigeons to race and stuff.
All the pigeons will have different personality traits, which shows how they interact with the flock as a whole. You can breed them as well, to show off different colour morphs of different breeds of pigeons and stuff. And all the breeds that you unlocked will also have a fact card about the history and general traits of the breeds. You can use said fact cards as a standard, if you mainly want to raise show pigeons.
You can decorate and expand your lofts as well! There will also be lots of feed/water bowls types, as well as perches, nesting boxes, etc to create YOUR own loft! Also you can select the colours of your loft and some other items too.
For minigames, you can select any one (or even a team) of your pigeons to race, or just let your pigeon show off for shows and such. And you can train them as well!
Also yes, you can pet your pigeons.
Any suggestions or other ideas for this? And are there any game that's actually like this?

What breeds do you recommend for service like Ankhou? Do you ever train rescues for it? I would like to rescue pidges but what's been described with service pigeons lately would be so very very good when I get to a place that'd allow it.
Unfortunately, only dogs and in some cases miniature horses may be legally recognized as Service Animals.
Florida allows all species, but most other states, especially Ga, are REALLY stern about Dogs only.
It is more accurate to refer to Ankhou as my Assistance Animal
The Fair Housing Act (https://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/program_offices/fair_housing_equal_opp/ReasonableAccommodations15 ) defines the term thus:
An assistance animal is not a pet. It is an animal that works, provides assistance, or performs tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability, or provides emotional support that alleviates one or more identified symptoms or effects of a person's disability. Assistance animals perform many disability-related functions, including but not limited to, guiding individuals who are blind or have low vision, alerting individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to sounds, providing protection or rescue assistance, pulling a wheelchair, fetching items, alerting persons to impending seizures, or providing emotional support to persons with disabilities who have a disability-related need for such support. For purposes of reasonable accommodation requests, neither the Fair Housing Act nor Section 504 requires an assistance animal to be individually trained or certified.5 While dogs are the most common type of assistance animal, other animals can also be assistance animals.
But, returning to your question, I HIGHLY reccomend hand reared ferals, as they are probably the most intelligent pigeons with Homers being a close second.
But any mellow breed has good potential, honestly. Classic Old Frills, Old German Owls, Valencian Figurita, Frill Backs, Show Homers, Utility Kings, French Mondain, Old Dutch Capichine, Indian fantails, Mindian fantails, garden fantails, and American Fantasies are all physically sound, mellow breeds.
For best results, I would suggest starting with a young female.
Ankhou is male, and Cocks can be just as excellently suited to the task, but pigeon love is pinchy and cocks will want to impress you with their strength and tenacity.
Pigeons differ from dogs in that they are more socially than food motivated and learning their human partner’s individual behavior is integral to the training process.
So it would be more effective for me to match a weanling with a client’t temperament, send it to them harness trained and started on potty training and public etiquette, and walk them through bonding with it and further training it.
Pigeons are wired for pattern recognition and analysis, and verbal language is easy for them to pick up on, if you are clear and consistant about naming things and setting boundaries.
I plan on at least evaluating future feral babies for Assistance potential.
Any who fail Assistance evaluation will still make some one a wonderful companion. ^v^
