Is Your BMW Steering Wheel Shakes While Braking? These could be the Reasons
Every car users know how useful a steering is. Without steering the car cannot be controlled and also one cannot reach the destination without the steering wheel. People want their steering wheel to move smoothly and effortlessly. But the shaking of the steering wheel makes a driver feel strange. In many cases, it is found that many BMW cars that the steering wheel is vibrating while braking. Shaking or vibrations can lead to wear or loosening of most of the parts. Shaking is not a good thing at all. If your BMW is having shaking steering wheel, then you have to know the reasons behind it and diagnose it.
What makes the steering wheel to shake in BMW?
BMW cars usually have better performing parts but still these are vulnerable to problems like shaking of the steering wheel. If the steering wheels gets some issues, then there is a risk of instability of the car. So you have to get rid of such issues from your car. For that you have to know what causes the shaking of the steering wheel while braking. Here are some common causes of the shaking of steering wheel while braking.
Warped brake rotors
Check the brake rotors if you feel the shaking of the steering wheel while braking, then the brake rotors must have been warped. Warping of the brake rotors mainly occurs due to the overheating. Warped brake rotors are the most common causes of shaking steering wheel while braking.
Unbalanced tires
If the tires are unbalanced, then the steering wheel would shake while driving. Worn tires cause the unbalance in the tires. Even use of wrong size tires would also make the wheels unbalanced. But the shaking in this case only occurs in the speeds below 60 mph.
Low tire pressure
If the pressure in any of the tires are low, then the wheels would cause the shaking of the steering wheel. Low pressure in the tire makes the dashboard to show the tire pressure warning light. The efficiency of the car is also affected if the tire pressure is low.
Stuck brake calipers
If the brake calipers in the wheel is stuck, then it would cause the warping in brakes. So when the brakes are pressed, the car steering wheel would start to vibrate. Stuck brake caliper is also one of the common cause of the shaking steering wheel while braking.
Worn suspension parts
Some suspension parts like the ball joints and the bushings wear out or get loosened and make the vibrations in the steering wheel.
Worn wheel bearings
Bearings used in wheels make it roll on the roads smoothly. If the bearings would be worn, then the wheels would not be able to rotate properly and cause various noises while rotating, so these worn bearings in the wheels can also make the rough running and making the steering to vibrate.
Bent rims
If the rims of the wheels are bent due to corrosion or some accidents, then the result of driving which such rims would be very dangerous. The worm rims can take your wheels out of its proper alignment. The controlling of the car would also be very dangerous.
What to do?
Get your car checked properly. Inspect those parts that are more likely to cause the steering wheel shake that is the parts that is mentioned above. Check the tire surface, tire pressure. Give your tires extra air pressure and if the tire is worn, then get it replaced quickly.
Check the wheel bearings, the rotation of the wheels and replace it if it is worn. Then check the brake rotors, brake calipers and the brake pads. Replace them if they are found to be faulty
Conclusion
For all the diagnosis of the brakes and wheels, take the help of an experienced mechanic. Because if the brakes are messed up, then it would be extremely difficult to handle the car. There would be risk of life threatening accidents.

Not to be that person, but I'm gonna vent on here. My last 2 weeks have been frustrating to say the least.
S/O and I split, it was mutual, but like that's still a connection with someone that's been changed.
Someone tried to get me fired from work by lying about me, I got it situated, but it's still irksome.
My mortgage company is saying my payment went up by 200, but it shouldn't have and I wasn't warned about the payment increase meaning they're trying to catch me with late fees.
Mortgage company is also saying that I missed a payment, I have the paperwork stating that I didn't miss a payment.
If you hear about a bunch of random people getting round house kicked straight into oblivion, just know they deserved it.

I keep trying to find people who still care about covid and risk minimization but the problem is that if they make this clear on their social media profiles, they talk about it all. the. time.
It's too much. I see one too many covid posts and the anxiety starts flaring up. I appreciated that others are putting in a lot of work to stay informed, but I wish the people who are just fandom v/bloggers would care.
This could've been an opportunity to incorporate cool masks into our lives. Masks have been used for the "cool" character for ages. We can add patterns to them. They're a chance to buy fandom merchandise when you don't want yet another graphic t-shirt.
But the majority was like, nope, gonna ditch the inconvenience at the first possibility and rawdog the potentially infected air. Rather play Russian roulette with my life than add one item of clothing to my daily life. Don't want to find something that fits me comfortably!
And yes, a lot of cases may be asymptomatic or mild, but we don't know the longterm affects yet. So many people are chronically ill now BECAUSE of covid. Because they thought it was no big deal and they didn't need protection.
People get shingles later in life because they got chickenpox as a kid. Covid damages your heart, immune system, and nervous system. What the fuck is going to happen in 60 years? We don't know. We're in a mass experiment now. I didn't consent to this and no one around me fucking cares.
That's not even what this is about, I'm just used to covid denialists climbing onto covid posts every fucking chance they get to call someone who's just trying to take safety precautions a crazy idiot.
I just want people in my life who actually care, who don't just... fixate on that to the exclusion of everything else.
I don't give a shit if the precautions aren't good enough. I wear cloth masks and loose surgical masks. It's more than 90% of the people in my area are doing.
I care if someone cares at all.

FYI: when you go back to the tire place where you got your tire replaced because you went to your dealership because your tires have been wonky for a week, and the people at the dealership say that the reason your tires are wonky is because the dudes at the tire place forgot to replace the whole fucking interior of the valve and sent you off onto the road with basically just finger tension on the tire stem cap, the response of the person you talk to at the tire place re: reviewing their best practices so they don’t endanger any more people holy shit should not be “haha yeah that happens all the time! :)”
[you do understand how that’s worse.meme]

Hello. It’s currently two in the morning and I’m debating with myself over the merits of bottled water versus tap water. Because are they that different? And they say tap water is good for you (like your teeth?) but is this a lie? Also, how purified is purified water? They add sodium to it to make you stay thirsty. They say it’s to help with thirst, but I don’t feel that constant need for hydration when I drink tap water and -
Is there a support group for this? Not the water thing, but the “it’s two in the morning and I’m thinking about water” thing instead of being a normal person and fucking sleeping. Is there a support group? Can I make one? Can we all just sing lullabies and slap one another when the brains start rumbling like fucking lawn mowers?
Can someone just smack me please? Preferably unconscious.
