Ok this is a me thing, dont mind me xD I just saw an illustration and remember how much HATE Eric

My mom cheated on my dad twice (that’s a whole story, and I don’t really like sharing it with anyone), so I’m really sensible towards that matter, I don’t want to cause that pain to my significant other ever! And that holds even in a game

So the fact that Eric is there, and a constant in the events of mcl, is just ugh, if I could slap him I would, I can’t even look at him without feeling sick, I hate what he represents, and even worse, the reactions of the Li, I can’t, it breaks my heart

I dont feel the same with Candy because, obviously we can reject him if we want.

So yeah, every time I see an Illustration with him on it, I immediately lose interest

But remember, it is a ME thing, if u picked Eric, is ok, I get that the Li was being distant and etc, that’s ok, don’t come at me Eric lovers TwT

eric was only a starter bc we had no one else now w inigo and faye he prob will never even come off the bench

in 21-22? He was a starter or a supersub for Piqué bc the other options were Lenglet (played on loan for the Spurs in 22-23) or Mingueza (Masia kid who was sold to Celta FC in 22-23) and even though the first leg of that season he was sketchy after Xavi came he started playing a lot better and was def better than the rest. In pre season 22-23 Xavi played Eric and Andreas Christensen as CB starters more than once, did the same for Rayo Vallecano, the first game of the league and for the next game vs Real Sociedad he was a starter with Andreas and Ronald. So, even with everyone healthy he too was a starter before he took a dip after having discomfort in a thigh, I think it was. After that Andreas just adapted so well he even benched Koundé, Jules got lucky that he could play RB, bc Andreas was going to bench him in important games. Our start CB couple is Ronald and Andreas, no doubt now. I never understood why Xavi played Alonso over Eric bc even though Marcos can be good with headers and some defending options, is taller than Eric, the type of mistakes he made in passing that costs us goals Eric would not have made, but Xavi must have not liked what he was seeing at training or something, dunno. Bc of what you said with Iñigo and Masia kids like Chadi Riad and our now Barça Atletic kid Faye I don’t see Eric playing as CB, he either plays as CDM, or is out to play on loan or transfer. He wants to stay, though,that we know.

Quel sera le meilleur onze de départ de l'Espagne pour la Coupe du Monde ? Telle est la question de tous les fans de la Roja. L'Espagne est l'une des équipes les plus attrayantes pour le prochain Mondial. L'équipe de Luis Enrique tentera de remporter sa deuxième étoile au Qatar. Mais des équipes comme le Brésil, l'Argentine ou même l'Espagne sont des candidats évidents pour leur ravir le trône. L'équipe espagnole bénéficiera d'une combinaison de jeunesse et d'expérience. Ce qui lui donne l'une des meilleures chances de remporter la prochaine Coupe du monde. La composition probable de l'Espagne au Qatar Gardien de but Le poste de gardien de but sera difficile à décider pour Luis Enrique, le sélectionneur de l'Espagne. David de Gea, de Manchester United, ne vit pas son meilleur moment. Le tacticien espagnol a choisi de se passer de De Gea, une fois de plus. Il ne figure pas dans la pré-liste et ne sera donc pas du voyage. L'ère Erik ten Hag n'a pas changé la situation du joueur en quelques mois. i really cannot understand why beemoov thought it'd be a good idea to make the "caffeine addict that can't keep up a marriage" a love interest and put him in the same level as the other LI's. and even worst, it's almost hard to believe how most people (on tumblr) bought it.

seriously, they can't bring lysander, armin and kentin back, but they can bring a poorly written and developed character whose only function is to be a bad husband, drink coffee and fuck other peoples girlfriend?

eric is genuinely terrible at everything défense related so he can’t do the john stones role. it’s actually dreadful to watch him i’m sorry but everytime he comes on he either concedes or causes a penalty he needs to leave

A narrative that’s not true. He does have problems with being consistent but you know how you can also fix that besides training and video? Playing. Man barely played for months and then was asked to be Paulo Maldini out there, that’s unfair. They used to say John Stones sucked and was inconsistent, not good enough for England NT at one point. Actually he got benched at City by Eric in a few games when Eric was like 18-19, that’s why. Pep said John liked him bc he had balls and wanted to learn. Pep liked Eric bc he was always receptive, smart and wanted to learn. Soooo, besides, he is not always “bad”. He was good at Nation’s League back in 2021? and he had good bouts at Barça too. He was class at the 4-0 at the Bernabeu (he was playing a lot and well during that spring period) intercepted a bunch of balls, greats passes, defended well in block and individually, so, as I said if he gets consistency, he will be good, maybe not good enough to compete at current Barça but good enough for any first division team and could be taught the CDM just as Stones has bc how good he is at passing and vision of play.
