I'm not huge on kidfic, and I'm pretty picky about it, so I never expected to enjoy kidfic in F1 fandom, but there have been writers who have changed my perception of it! In particular what come to mind are @talictries' Sewis Fathers and Sons fic, and @f1-disaster-bi's Lando single dad au with baby Eloise! <3

13: Are there any tropes you used to like but don't anymore?

None come to mind tbh! I started reading fic when I was around 11 or 12, and I've been a pretty equal opportunity fic reader for pretty much everything at this point. I'm also kind of insane in that I tend to. . . not read tags. . . (dont be like me kids!!!!! always read tags especially for trigger warnings!!!) so I'll pretty much read any trope when the writing is compelling enough!

Oh I am all about this trend.

My favorite thing about your writing is its precision. You could be writing the raunchiest most extra af smutty scene and the way you use the language perfectly communicates exactly what is going on and the nuanced way each character feels about it, which translates to a very scintillating reader experience. Snappy, punchy, hot.

lantern - how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other?

so we met when we were about 5 or 6 years old (i think. it was so long ago) and i have now been (unofficially) adopted by their family and i just refer to them as my sibling because they literally just are.

ok we both went to the same school and there was this super annoying kid there that picked fights with me CONSTANTLY for no reason. so one day my sibling just comes up out of nowhere and starts defending me and the kid ran away and we've been inseparable ever since. they're the best person in the entire world who's stood by my side and helped me through so many shitty things and i fucking love them so much
