Oh when I was managing the Tower of Terror*. Our biggest section was a snack and cookie section and the types were always changing due to relying on imports and the shipping challenges etc. Woman comes in “im looking for a cookie I bought here” oh no problem, ok! Do you remember the brand “no” ohhhh okay. Um do you remember the color of the bag or box? “No” ummmm. Do you remember what kind of cookie? Hard/soft? Chocolate chips? “No. It was a cookie” 🫥 Was it amaretti biscotti did it have chcocolate did it have orange did it have a filling? Galletti nascondini baiocchi macine taralucci? Cuoricini campagnole flauti? HELP ME OUTTTTTT

my dad tried to make chocolate chip cookies without chcocolate chips, cause he likes that type of cookie dough but not the chips. so he just bought pre made mix and then sifted out the chocolate chips. but somehow the cookies ended up the texture of like. a dry pancake. theyre crumbly as fuck but also super thing and airy. and like i said, dry. very interesting. i dont know if he like measured something else wrong or if the chips were the only thing he changed but. its kinda funny

the almonds, one more time, in milk chcocolate and iquorice powder (and the taste of liquorice, it's sweetness coming above all the other tastes and chcocolate slowly melting in your mouth)

the wonderful mix of cashews, from yoghurt-flavoured white chcocolate, through velvety milk chocolate, to the dark and bitter chcocolate with a mint-aftertaste

the hazelnuts in chocolate and mocaccino powder, being an incredible variation of sweet and bitter

the soft raisins in caramel or chcocolate of any type, with their irregular shapes and cracks in the sweet cover

the soft and chewy freeze-dried strawberries with nice, crunching seeds popping inside them

the not-to-sweet coconut bites of perfect consistency that get all mild and soften under your tounge

i'm absolutely not done yet.
