"And yes, if it means the world is destroyed as a result, so be it..."
TOON COLRESS CONCEPT, GUYS....
He's based off the main desire of Colress, whose goal is to find the maximum potential of a Pokemon's power. He draws himself out with the Inkwell pen, achieving this goal and gets this shit instead:
Colress has many thoughts during this process, so he becomes somewhat of a science safety PSA as well -- ironically enough while being explosive at random times, like a faulty electronic. Means no harm but cannot help but be defective.
Verrrrry obviously based off @shadowfear-art 's AUs, heheh-
cooking up some stuff for ai emmet au
(some notes:
- Emmet leaves Gear Station and the Battle Subway behind to go search for Ingo's whereabouts, but before doing so he commissions Colress to build an AI replacement of himself to act in his place - an exact replica, if you will, that will act and talk exactly as he does so as to not draw any suspicion that he has left
- Therefore Emmet helps to provide a voice bank, some mannerisms, etc to help Colress build and program his AI replacement
- Most of AI Emmet underneath the clothing is mechanical - only the parts you can really see like the face/neck are covered with an additional layer of material made to resemble skin (later his arm(s) will get this treatment as well because welp)
- AI Emmet will be essentially bound to Gear Station and leaving it is not good for him... (hmmm think of it kinda like a force field kind of thing...? I mean, not REALLY a problem regardless because he would never have any reason to do that anyway, right? :D ...right? )
- His charging station is in a secret room that is built into (human) Emmet's office
- Also WEAK TO WATER, water will ruin him so uh... no showers, please!
btw this is really just a continuation of this, just for Emmet)
Next up for the Mechanical Errors AU... I reveal one of our main villains!
A once neutral scientist became too curious with his experiments, fusing himself with a Galvantula with the only intention of firing more electricity into his neurons.
As a result, he has lost ALL human compassion, making him a highly dangerous foe to Unova and a threat to general civilization. His experiments are boundless, ranging from the freezing of the entire region to using innocent civilians for his own gain.
He's actually leveled up his intelligence so much that he is no longer considered human by anyone... not even Ghetsis. Our favorite robots have more emotional understanding than this.
Now, who is truly the mechanical error in this scenario...?
Sketches for my upcoming comics about Pokemon Villains. First working title was "God was never on your side", current working title is "Refracted Light".

Colress and Grimsley in a blanket cocoon (grey version) for my Hangman’s Way AU.
The Purrloin and Pawniard are Colress’ - it was pure coincidence that he ended up with Pokémon that Grimsley has! XD
This is at a point in the AU where Colress is starting to really open up and relax around Grimsley. And yep, he’s curled up in Grimsley's lap here, although it can’t be seen.
I'll do a coloured version eventually (maybe with a background? I dunno I'm no good at them yet XD).
I'm also working on a story that gives context to this.
