There also is a difference between being in an area where culturally it's normal to like. Blast music on your doorstep. Vs playing tiktoks full volume on public transit. Those are two different things that warrant two different discussions of what's "appropriate" in a public space

urghhh i THOUGHT i had my sick new commute strat all figured out (take my ebike to work in the morning, then bike -> train -> bike home, eliminating most of the nighttime biking leg) but
my ebike is really fucking heavy
and. i forgor that the caltrain double-decker ("gallery") cars have a bunch of STEPS up into them (+ there doesnt seem to be any way to tell in advance which trainset you get? bc the bombardier cars dont have the steps but i dont want to like. show up at the train station and then possibly wait an hour for an amenable train)
so now, after mortally embarrassing myself TWICE by being unable to lift my stupid goddamn bike, im out here googling "how to lift ebike into train car" like a moron

Taking in the golden hours on two wheels (of course.) The bikes get some aster flower crowns because ‘tis the season! (The flowers come from my garden of course.)
It won’t be long til these summer bikes are retired for the year, and then hopefully there will be plenty of snow to romp in on the winter bike.
